• The problem with unblock requests which just say generic things to the effect of "I know what I did wrong and I won't do it again", without saying what one did wrong and won't do again, is that experience over the years shows that far more often than not the person does not, in fact, understand the reason for the block, so if they are unblocked they do, in fact, do the same again. If you can show clearly that you do understand why you are blocked, and indicate in what way any future editing will be different from what you did before, I will be happy to consider whether to remove the block.
• I strongly recommend taking the advice above to read the guide to appealing blocks.
• Please follow the instructions above on how to post an unblock request. There are a couple of reasons why that is better than just posting a message without using the unblock template. The main reason is that if you do it that way it will be automatically added to a list of unblock requests for other administrators to review. I can think of at least five reasons why this unblock request is completely useless, but I'll stick to mentioning just two: a request which is so blatantly a product of AI is not going to be considered; posting a request which is so clumsy and inept a product of AI indicates that you don't understand what you are doing, adding to the already existing impression that you lack the competence to contribute successfully. • You appear to be unable to understand various things you have been told, such as how to make an unblock request. If you can't understand how to follow simple instructions then you are unlikely to be able to contribute to Wikipedia without continuing problems.

There is a misunderstanding. My username is Shahnur Rahman lumin but I am not that person. I create this account because i try to write a Wikipedia article about him, that not about myself.

Now I understand that using a real persons name as a username looks like I am trying to promote myself, even though that was not my intention.

I have read the conflict of interest and username polices, now i understand that it was a big mistake. If i am unblocked, i will not create or edit any pages related to this person or any one i have a personal connection with.

I am interested in music and would like to edit pages about singers, albums or music history using reliable source. I will not edit anything related to myself or my own work. I cannot do this in past, that is my mistake my user name is created by his name not mine.

I would also be happy to change my username to something more neutral if that helps. I want to follow Wikipedia rules and contribute to other topics, especially in music.

I created an account using the subject's name, which gave the impression of self promotion. I did not intend this and will contribute only neutral, verifiable edits in the future.

A couple of points of clarification

1. You are blocked because of persistent promotional editing; whether it was promotion of yourself or of someone else is not actually very important.
2. You claim that you are not the person whose name you used as your original username (Shahnur Rahman lumin) and about whom you have posted spam. However, you previously said "I need your help to create my Wikipedia sandbox. I am a bangladeshi singer and i try to create my Biography." The sandbox you created was about Shahnur Rahman Lumin. So, let's get this straight, were you lying when you said that, or were you telling the truth then, and lying later, when you said that you are not Shahnur Rahman Lumin? I strongly suspect that I know which it is, but unless and until you become completely truthful about that, I will oppose any request for unblock, even if you can address the other issues involved. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and disruption caused by my earlier edits. When I first created an account, I misunderstood Wikipedia’s policies and believed I had to use the subject’s name to write an article. Because of this misunderstanding, I mistakenly presented myself as the subject, which was incorrect and gave the impression of self-promotion.

I also added information such as concert and TV show appearances without realizing that, if not written neutrally and supported by independent reliable sources, this could be considered promotional. I now understand WP:USERNAME, WP:COI, WP:NOTPROMOTION, and WP:V, and why my previous edits raised concerns.

At one point, I lost access to my old account and created a new one. At that time, I did not fully understand that my previous account’s IP had been blocked due to concerns about personal promotion rather than the content itself. Four years later, when I returned to Wikipedia to continue my unfinished work, I found that my IP had been unblocked, but I had forgotten the username and password of my old account. I created a new account using the same personal name as before, which again led to it being flagged for personal promotion. Upon investigating, I realized that because the account and the subject of the articles were the same person, this was considered a conflict of interest. Once I understood my mistake, I requested a username change, and my account was updated to “Music Editor2025.”

I now understand that creating new accounts to avoid a block is also against policy (WP:SOCK), and I take full responsibility for that mistake.

I have learned from these errors and will strictly adhere to all Wikipedia policies in the future. I will avoid editing topics where I have a conflict of interest and will only add neutral, verifiable content with proper sourcing. I respectfully request another opportunity to contribute constructively.

• As you can see above, I pointed out the contradiction between the editor's claim now that they are not Shahnur Rahman lumin and their claim earlier that they were. You will also see that they have chosen not to respond to my request to clarify that contradiction. The edit that I quoted from, stating that the page they were trying to create was an autobiography, is . There are various other edits in the history which make it clear that they were indicating that they are Shahnur Rahman lumin, and there are at least two now deleted edits in which they refer to Shahnur Rahman lumin in the first person: this one & this one.
• The paragraph of the unblock request beginning "At one point, I lost access..." is a little incoherent, and it isn't easy to be absolutely sure what it is saying. However, it certainly says that this second account was created because the password to the old one was lost, and it seems to imply that they created this account without realising that their previous account was blocked. They managed to find the password to the old account, and log into it, a little while after this sockpuppet was blocked.
