Sleep Tech Inc.
editA tag has been placed on Sleep Tech Inc., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and put a note on Talk:Sleep Tech Inc.. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. NightRider63 20:10, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Nominated for WP:SPEEDY by myself, placing tag here so no one else would.--NightRider63 20:10, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Successful?
editYou might want to see WP:DRV#Digitally_Imported_.28closed.29 before you call your AFD on Digitally Imported "successful." The decision was overturned and the article has been restored. Metros 10:40, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Congrats!--NightRider63 19:51, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- I had nothing to do with it. I didn't even know it existed until today while I was looking over some other DRVs. If you read it, you'll see I never commented there or started the DRV like you suggested I did on my talk page. Also, what proof do you have that the admin who closed it works for the company as you state on the talk page? Metros 21:48, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Alright Sorry for jumping to a conclusion, and also let's not hate eachother or hold a grudge. Take a look at some of these edit's which were done by his IP address, mind the IP address has changed two times. In this first edit, you see soo much semi-descriptive advertising it's not even funny.See That Here. Also the most blatant one here Look here. In that section, the username is DEAD ON with the CEO of this alleged "corporation". Based on his sole edit, which leads me to believe it is a Single Purpose account One Edit.Also this user Coredesat is also an Administrator on the forum. Sounds a bit fishy too me. What do you think? WP:COI? Or is it a WP:SOCK because the Ashorat account was used once, and then this one created after he learned that his edits were reverted because it was a conflict of interest? If this is indeed the case and he does in fact work for this group, i would assume that it could be brought up for another AfD, i did assume good faith until i checked the edit logs.--NightRider63 00:28, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Those edits seem to have nothing to do with the closing of the AFD or the DRV as far as I can see. I would warn you to watch where you're walking when you accuse administrators of Wikipedia of sockpuppetry or conflict of interest situations. Admins are trusted for their judgement in the community and unless you have some concrete proof, it's not a good plan to throw around such accusations about them. Metros 01:45, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Digitally Imported DRV
editI overturned the AFD closure because there were few substantial "endorse" arguments (only one, actually, from an IP that says "endorse per nom", and the nom in a DRV is usually arguing to overturn the decision, so the argument makes no sense). --Coredesat 22:00, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Based on your lack of good faith on Talk:Digitally Imported, I strongly urge you to check the links in the {{multidel}} template at the top of the talk page. --Coredesat 22:03, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Xm high standards.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Xm high standards.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:42, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Dcmarsmaze.jpeg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Dcmarsmaze.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:19, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Prestologo.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Prestologo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Image copyright problem with Image:WNNJ-FM.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:WNNJ-FM.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

File permission problem with File:South Hills Mall hallway.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:South Hills Mall hallway.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (talk) 17:55, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Bluegrass Junction has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Subject does not meet the WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Let'srun (talk) 22:27, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
