The article Dontnod Entertainment has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Subject appears to fail WP:CORP. The sole source is insufficient to establish encyclopedic notability. A Google turned up the usual promotional websites and hits, but nothing that really rings the notability bell. Please add content backed by in depth coverage from reliable and verifiable sources that establish the notability of the subject, or this article may be deleted.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ad Orientem (talk) 18:11, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:AdrianGamer/sandbox
A tag has been placed on User:AdrianGamer/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it contains a gallery in the userspace which consists chiefly of fair use or non-free images. For legal reasons, we cannot allow non-free and copyrighted images to be used on user pages, and user pages containing galleries of such images may be eligible for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 23:13, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Shape Up
Hello AdrianGamer,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Shape Up for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

Games in Development Edit
You recently cut out my edit in the list of video games in development page, edit difference]. I think the upcomming Zelda title fits on that page because it is in development and it has no release date, just a year, so I figured it would fit best in the Unscheduled section. See the page for the game here. If you are certain it doesn't belong there, then tell me why. GameditorTalk 19:50, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- There is a page called 2015 in video gaming and all the games scheduled for 2015 are listed there. I just think that it should belong to that page instead of the development page. Also, if we already know that it will be released in 2015, the release date doesn't go beyond it, so that page don't really suitable. List of video games in development is for games that currently carried an unknown release date (no year, date, month given) AdrianGamer (talk), 25 August 2014

Multiple reliable sources list From Software as the sole developer. If you're going to add another developer, you need a reliable source. In any case, you should always cite your sources. - Well, 1.) there's the asymmetrical Rush game mode, where you're either the Attacker or the Defender. And 2.) is Battlefield 4's Commander Mode, when your direct players in a battle instead of taking part in it yourself. —017Bluefield (talk) 12:08, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:GTA V 1st person.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:GTA V 1st person.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. CR4ZE (t • c) 01:57, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

You edit gaming pages right?
I would sort of like your opinion on something The Evil Within. Somebody added that film part. I don't think it's needed, do you? I would just delete it but it might be important. Sorry if this is a waste of time. I also left this message on that talk page. Thanks (what I am assuming is) fellow gamer. Also if you respond here please tell me. - I actually think that the film section should stay there. It is related to the game after all and it is covered by reliable sources. Video game pages like Dead Island, Dante's Inferno and Far Cry also have similar section, so I think we should keep it. AdrianGamer (talk) 09:25, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Template:Infobox video game
Regarding the Elite: Dangerous edits, the template documentation doesn't go out of its way to rule out or rule in planned future versions, but it does clearly say "The console or operating system the game was released for" - past tense - for the "platforms" field. If most articles are using this to list announced alternate platforms, in practice, maybe it's worth suggesting an explicit change to the documentation? --McGeddon (talk) 16:26, 7 March 2015 (UTC)

Help updating one of your edits
Hi. The logo uploaded for Bossa Studios is an old version made specifically for the Merlin game. I'm not a verified user and therefore cannot update it. Also, because I'm part of Bossa, I feel it's not really appropriate to go and edit myself... Anyway, could you help out and replace the current logo with the correct one? I've uploaded the file at the official site, like here: http://www.bossastudios.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/bossaStudiosUkLogo300transparent.png Thanks a lot! Olifiers 16:40, 7 April 2015 (GMT)

Open world as genre
On what consensus or basis are you saying "open world" is not a genre? The sources, as cited, use it as one. czar ⨹ 12:30, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- From my understanding on open world, it is more a design or concept than a genre. (Our wikipedia article also call it a concept instead of a genre, though it is not a reliable source) Sources tell me that it is an "open-world action-adventure game" is implying that the game is an action-adventure game with open-world element. Since you have 81 different sources in your article it will be helpful if you can link one here to me. I will self-revert my edits if sources is provided. AdrianGamer (talk) 13:49, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Multiple reliable sources in a WP:VG/RS custom Google search call it a genre, and it's sourced in the article as you quoted. Unless there's a restriction on infobox genre shorthand, it should be fine to put both open world and action-adventure in the infobox. (Though, to be honest, I imagine "open world" will eventually subsume the longer genre. Can't recall a non-action-adventure open world.) czar ⨹ 14:41, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- Well, open-world can still be seen in other genres like racing, action role-playing and first-person shooter. I have already self-reverted my edits and open world is displayed in the infobox again. AdrianGamer (talk) 14:55, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

In regards to the primary source template on "Running with Rifles".
Hello and thank you for looking over my recently created article. I noticed you put in the primary sources template. I have since added 1 or 2 more sources, could you please take a look and see if the template is still needed? Anarchyte (talk) 10:07, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Anarchyte: Well, the new sources you added seem to be user-submitted content, which is not reliable. Maybe the ref ideas in the talk page, or custom Google search can help you find more source. But generally, most video game articles have very few primary sources, and that your article still relies heavily on primary source. Therefore, I think that tag can remain there for now. But don't be frustrated, after you have added new sources, you can remove the tag yourself. AdrianGamer (talk) 13:34, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
RE: Lego Racers (video game) GA review
Hey. Thanks a bunch for reviewing this article and giving me ways to improve it, it means a lot to me. Regarding the sources issue: I have now reduced the number of manual references from 20 to 7, replacing them with articles from IGN, GameSpot, EGM and GameSpy. I'm going to continue fixing the other issues you pointed out, but I believe this was the major issue. Thanks again. BlookerG talk 11:00, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- It definitely looks much better now. Keep up the good work. AdrianGamer (talk) 07:05, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- Would you say it meets GA status? BlookerG talk 06:53, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
- I think it should meets now, considering the number of primary sources is now less than secondary sources. But I still recommend you to continue to reduce the amount of primary sources so that the quality of the article can be pushed higher. AdrianGamer (talk) 07:03, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. I look forward to seeing it pass. BlookerG talk 15:01, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- @BlookerG: Have you addressed the other issues I pointed out? If you have already addressed them, I will promote it to GA. AdrianGamer (talk) 04:16, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry, I thought you were insinuating that the other problems were minor and that it would meet criteria once the source issue was fixed.
- I usually only put initial release dates in the lead to simplify things, as I have written in previous good articles.
- The E3 information is notable, as not all games are shown at this show, and It's a significant, notable game convention.
- I might get round to archiving the links, but it's not needed for GA status.
- What needs cleaning up on File:Lego Racers.jpg?
- Apart from these things, I have fixed everything you've pointed out. Thanks. BlookerG talk 20:41, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

Need for Speed: No Limits
You give me examples that prove that a "Coming Soon" is not neccesary, yet all the examples have a confirmation by the devs like: "It is scheduled for release on November 17, 2015" "and is planned to be released in mid 2015" "along with news of a simultaneous English release alongside the Japanese version in late 2015", you understand the predicament here? is not the same case, otherwise i would not be calling it trolling, i told you it was not confirmed, and you know it was not confirmed, and you also know those 3 examples were, like common man, be reasonable — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nahusiv (talk • contribs) 12:42, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Nahusiv: You see, my edits didn't change any content, I just changed the way how it is presented. Coming Soon is something definitely not needed in the info box, even if the final release date of the game is not confirmed. The first 2 examples don't have a firm release date, but have a release window similar to Need for Speed: No Limits. However, if you are referring that EA has never confirmed that the game will be released in Spring 2015, then that would be a completely different story. AdrianGamer (talk) 12:54, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
- @AdrianGamer: They didnt, i made up that part based on my knowledge of the updates and the timing from Firemonekeys, they only said "coming soon", most of the content on that page was made up at the time, we change it everytime they confirm it, was all informed especulation at the beginning, if this is going to be a problem i already added some changes to it so you can be happy about it
- @Nahusiv: Well, I recommend you to change it to simply 2015, because if the release window is not announced we can't put it there because we don't accept original research and everything must be verifiable. AdrianGamer (talk) 13:09, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
- @AdrianGamer: That is what i was trying to say since the beginning, thats why i use "coming soon" instead of something especific, but anyways, is already on Q2/Q3/Q4, the rest of 2015, is not a original research anymore, even tho i know is going to be released next month

Category undo
This is part of an on going issue with an IP vandal messing with categories and block evading. Check WP:VG talk page for details. Plus, the article is already in a subcategory of that one. -- ferret (talk) 12:43, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- But isn't Category:Activision games suppose to include every games published by Activision? Almost all the Call of Duty game, including the newly announced Black Ops III, are included in that category. AdrianGamer (talk) 12:49, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- I wouldn't think they should be, because they are in the Category:Call of Duty series, which is a subcategory of Category:Activision games. If my understanding on parent categories versus subcategories is incorrect though, let me know. There's been a lot of issues over the last 3 months with these publisher categories because of the IP vandal, and when I reverted it, it was less because of the category addition and more because of the block evasion and widespread issues from that user. -- ferret (talk) 14:08, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
Dragon Age: Origins
Just wanted to point this out, but shouldn't we have some consistency? I mean, Origins isn't an open world game, but it can be used as an example of one? I reverted that edit a while ago, but someone added it back. We need to have consistency. If it can be used as an example, then it should be in the category. But if it's not open world, it should not be used as an example. Just for clarification, this is the line I'm talking about:
"For a game to be considered "Open world" it must contain one or more of these key features: Exploration, side quests and/or open areas. Examples are: Minecraft, Dragon age Origins and Legend of Zelda."
That is on the page about open world level designECW28 (talk) 12:55, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- @ECW28: That claim was unsourced. So I have removed it. AdrianGamer (talk) 13:08, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- @ECW28: We don't use that definition of "open world". We call a game "open world" only when we can cite a WP:VG/RS that calls it that. And if the label is disputed, we'd need to cite multiple reliable sources. czar ⨹ 14:39, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Czar: I know we need to cite sources, but still, that article connects to this category. We can't have them just ignoring the other. Therefore, we need to keep them consistent with one another. Don't worry, I learned my lesson, I just wanted to prove that point. I'd watch the article on open world though, that line may get added back at any moment.ECW28 (talk) 18:08, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Notable for the article?
Hi AdrianGamer,
Do you think "Deus Ex creator's not a fan of Mankind Divided's violent trailer" is notable for Mankind Divided? --Soetermans. T / C 11:01, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
- I think it is notable, as it received significant coverage from the press. Not only GamesRadar but also GameSpot, Gamereactor, VG247 and PC Gamer have reported about it. AdrianGamer (talk) 11:35, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
Stylization of Evolve
Hey there Adrian, just wanted to clarify that I believe Evolve is stylized as EVOLvE in the box art. That second 'v' is clearly lowercase. Thoughts?
Thanks, Karasuhebi (talk) 21:58, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

Skullgirls GA nomination
Hey, thank you for taking the time to review the article! Am I allowed to ask you questions/get your opinion on some of my edits, or are you supposed to remain impartial or something? This is my first nomination, so I'm not entirely sure. Wani (talk) 17:25, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Persona question
I'd like to ask a question. I am beginning a concerted effort to bring Persona and Persona 2 articles to GA status (have already gathered sources and info for Persona 2 and am working on the Persona rewrite in my sandbox). I have no idea whether you have any interest in the series, but whether you do or don't, you could perhaps point me in the direction of editors who would be willing to help, or have a look at the Persona 3 article as that looks in a questionable state. I've already brought the plot synopsis under control and archived the now-dead Play interview with Hashino, along with updating urls, but the Meguro interview is not archived anywhere and I don't feel qualified to do the amount of work needed for Persona 3 to retain its GA status. --ProtoDrake (talk) 12:16, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
- I don't think I can help you as I don't know who would be interested in improving the article as well. I have quickly skimmed through the entire article and have noticed some problems. For example, it has quite a lot of unsourced gameplay information and unnecessary tracklist, a messy review template, some inconsistencies with S.E.E.S. in the lead, and it violate WP:VGSCOPE#7 and WP:ITALIC. The sales information should not be listed alongside with the release section, and that the development section feels slightly under-developed if the music subsection is excluded and the reception part should have its own section. I also think that Persona 3 FES should be split away as I think that there is enough sources for it to have an independent article. Besides these, I don't really see any serious problem with the article. AdrianGamer (talk) 14:05, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing that up. –DangerousJXD (talk) 21:00, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

This source may be relevant, or may not be. Vero Boquete, a star female footballer in Spain, received attention for starting a change.org petition to introduce female players into FIFA (this was in February 2013). Obviously, it's related to the series, but not directly to FIFA 16 itself. So should it be included or not?
P.S. If you want any part of that article translated to get a better idea, please contact me. Thank you. '''tAD''' (talk) 21:08, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- @The Almightey Drill: - That depends on whether the petition and the recent inclusion of woman players are related to not. If they are related, of course it can be added, but if it isn't, I don't think it should. AdrianGamer (talk) 09:51, 3 June 2015 (UTC)
GA Reviews
Hello AdrianGamer, I'd like to review a Good Article Nomination but I'm a little confused at how the whole process works. I've read the entire instructions but I'm still a little confused. Here are my questions:
- Do you have to be admin to review GA nominations?
- If I've checked the article per the criteria and I think it's a GA, do I change the section at the top of the talk page or does an admin/someone else look over my review before giving it the greenlight?
Thanks. --Anarchyte 08:41, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- For the first question, the answer is no, you don't have to be an admin to review GA nominations. For the second question, yes, you have to do it yourself. The time you need to ask for someone else's opinion is that you do not sure whether the article meets the standard or not. However, if it is the first time you review a GA, I recommend you to ask for a second opinion, so that other more experienced editors can have a look and see whether there is any problem with the review.
