Dear Locomotive207-talk,
Thank you for your comments. This is the first article I've written for Wikipedia. I thought I'd put too many references in.
The death section is backed by public records in the first sentence (refs 14 & 15) which are documents held by the UK National Archives and available for anyone to see. This includes Metropolitan Police records and the Home Office public inquiry papers.
All the facts stated in the article are backed by public records.
Should I add the references in more places?
