editWelcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Talk:Ron Karenga. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. Thank you. Deconstructhis (talk) 16:57, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Talk:Eddie Long. Thank you. Deconstructhis (talk) 17:00, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
How to add footnotes
editFootnotes can be added inline to the body of your text using <ref> tags. An example looks like:
JavaScript is used on webpages today.<ref>Smith, John (2005), ''JavaScript 101'', ISBN 938223445333</ref>
And the resultant text would look like: JavaScript is used on webpages today.1
With the superscript 1 being a link to a footnote at the bottom of the page automatically created by inserting the code: {{reflist}}
An easy to follow standard guide is at WP:Referencing for beginners with citation templates and a primer for general editing is at WP:How to edit a page (concise). Thanks, Fæ (talk) 23:29, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Tip
editHello. When you leave comments on talk pages, you sign your posts by typing ~~~~, that way your signature is autogenerated. I saw your comment at John Lewis and if there is material that should be added, just find a source and feel free to add it. There is no one blocking improvements to the article. Good luck to you. Thought you might like to have this on hand for some light reading ;) un☯mi 13:51, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
- Btw, did you take any pictures while in Israel? un☯mi 15:11, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry that it took so long to get back to you - if you want to upload pictures for use in wikipedia articles here is a small how-to, please also see this. As with most aspects of wikipedia there are no shortage of pages written with policies, guidelines and verbose documentation. See the second line of the "Getting Started" section of the link menu template I posted just above for evidence of that. Best Regards, un☯mi 07:09, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Comments on Judith Chomsky talk page.
editHi I'm the original writer of the Wikipedia entry for Judith Chomsky. I'd just like to say thank you for your contributions to it and kind words regarding its content. It was my first attempt at a contribution to Wikipedia and it was great ego boost for a wkii beginner to see that it had been improved and approved by someone with a better knowledge of the subject. Thanks again Ultan — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ultan42 (talk • contribs) 20:57, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
