US Women's

edit

Can you create some US Women's kits [1]? (the gold and white ones) AJSDA115 21:20, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

The link is above ^, but don't make the kits to detailed, just use basic details like the red and blue on the shoulder. P.S. The gold one is their home and the white one is away. Thanks, AJSDA115 00:16, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
No problem, just try to avoid adding too much detail, like the crest and the Nike sign. Only add the basic details to the kits, like the stripes I had mentioned. Thanks again, AJSDA115 01:58, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
The stripes on the bottom and that line is a bit too detailed. Like I said it is good to only keep the important features like the stripes on the shoulders. It's ok though, you can leave it. I just want to wish you luck with any further kit designs you do here on Wikipedia, but for the future remember don't add to much details, just keep the important things or else your kit maybe deleted. Thank you very much again and happy kit editing. AJSDA115 20:11, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Football kits

edit

See some of the discussion previously held. While you enthusiasm for creating these is great, it is not feasible for us to maintain the collection of thousands of kits that change every season, and it also raises some issues with regards to the copyright of the design. ed g2stalk 22:41, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Escudobarce.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Escudobarce.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Hey Omar 89, it's AJSDA115 again. I was wondering if you were still doing kit designs. If so, I was wondering if you could do this one and this one. Remember, not too much details and can you please post them either on your talk page or my talk page before you put them in the actual article. Thanks a million. --AJSDA115 15:41, 1 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Try clicking the link and then highlight the address and press enter. Hopefully that works.--AJSDA115 14:48, 3 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
It looks great, thanks Omar. If someone complains that it is too much detailed I'll tell you. Would you mind adding it to the article? AJSDA115 20:40, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
To be part of it just add your name here. P.S. When you sign your name on talk pages just put ~~~~ and your name and the time will appear. AJSDA115 22:59, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Omar, can you please remove the red from the kits and add the kits to the article? Thanks, you rock. AJSDA115 23:34, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

edit

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Aucas.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:21, 11 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Orphaned non-free media (File:B.S.C..png)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:B.S.C..png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Speedy deletion nomination of Monos Rugby Club

edit

A tag has been placed on Monos Rugby Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Paste Let’s have a chat. 16:33, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Omar 89! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 172 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Proposed deletion of Diego Fernando Martínez

edit

The article Diego Fernando Martínez has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Information is unverifiable and appears to be a hoax. His supposed time with SV Ried should be easy to document, but I can't find any evidence of it. Also, if he actually played in Ecuador's Serie A, BDFA or other sites would record that information, but they have no record of this person.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jogurney (talk) 15:50, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Diego Fernando Martínez

edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Diego Fernando Martínez, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:00, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
