At least two of those issues I have been seeing and correcting recently:

1. "Per Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players, the standard way to name the section about a players' club career is "Club career", not "Professional career"." It seems you are still using "Professional career". To clarify: If a player has played at both club and international level, the headings should be "Club career" and "International career". If a player has only played at club level, the heading should be "Career".
2. ""uk.soccerway.com" or "ca.soccerway.com" are not the website's name, but "Soccerway"."

Footballer surname vs year of birth

I'm not familiar with Brazilian names, but is it really the case that the general reader is more likely able to identify a person based on their year of birth than their surname? Hey @Paul 012:, most Brazilian footballers have a WP:COMMONNAME that is either their first name only or nickname, they generally wouldn't be recognizable with their last names, and especially not with full legal names. Of course there are exceptions, but not many. I name the pages in accordance with WP:COMMONNAME or WP:NATURAL, as they've kind of been neglected for a bit, but if there's any that stands out to you feel free to revert or challenge.--Ortizesp (talk) 04:26, 18 March 2022 (UTC)

Several breaches of WP:MCSTJR

Hi there, how are you?

I've noticed that a lot of your page moves involved changing the DEFAULTSORT of those pages. However, it seems like you don't know or don't seem to care about WP:MCSTJR, which clearly states that "Some people are known primarily by their first name only. When it is not possible to set the first name alone as the article title, as with many articles in Category:Brazilian footballers, you should sort with the first name first to make the article easier to find in the categories. For example, Leonardo Araújo is commonly known as Leonardo, and should be sorted as {{DEFAULTSORT:Leonardo Araujo}}"

Some examples:

1. Lucas Lima (footballer, born 2000)‎: not known by Lima, only by Lucas Lima;
2. Bruno Oliveira (footballer, born 1998): not known by Oliveira, known by Bruno Oliveira or just Bruno;
3. Kevin Carlos: not known by Carlos, only by Kevin Carlos or Kevin Omoruyi (which in this case would be correct to use Omoruyi, Kevin);
4. Orlando Ribeiro (footballer): not known as Ribeiro, known by Orlando Ribeiro or just Orlando.

That's the end of the source, then, and any claim it had to reliability. It's my understanding that editors are not required to give any explanation, per WP:PROD, You are encouraged, but not required... Also, I noticed that this editor usually does put an explanation in the comments to their edit. My only frustration is that some editors (I'm not sure that Ortizesp is one of them), regularly contest a PROD, but don't participate in the AfD when the article is taken there. For your reference, you can ask to revert undiscussed page move at WP:RM under "Requests to revert undiscussed moves". You could also request to get page mover rights at Wikipedia:Page mover, I used to have them but don't currently.@Cukrakalnis:

@Marcelus: I think since Cukrakalnis (talk · contribs) disagrees with you the moves are uncontroversial, it'd be better to request the move using WP:RM instead of moving them yourself. That way there's also something in the talk history that shows why or why not a page was moved. If you feel strongly that your moves are correct, then feel free to open a move request to re-revert them, I have no strong opinions in either direction. As long as the CSD C1-tagged category is no longer empty within the 7 day holding period, another editor will remove the speedy deletion tag from it and it will not be deleted. Hello. I saw that you were the one who moved the page «Jorge Enrique de Souza» to «Jorge Henrique (footballer, born April 1982)». It seems to me that the change made is not entirely well planned, because whoever looks for the player will not necessarily know that he was born in April 1982, therefore, putting that as an identifier in the title from my perspective is not correct, it is more It is easy to identify him by his full name and, although colloquially he is only known as Jorge Henrique, most people will identify him faster by seeing both surnames in the title (just as it is in other Wikipedias such as the Portuguese or Spanish Wikipedia). It is explicitly a personal comment when the person placing the PROD explicitly says they searched for sources, as I did. Did you read the PROD tag?
