Your File:Salomon S-Lab Skate Boot.jpg photo
editHi Paxson, Thank you for offering your photo at Cross-country skiing. I have deleted it from the article for several reasons. 1. It was very cluttered—there was a lot of distracting objects surrounding the subject. 2. It didn't show the subject well—one might look at the boots from different angles. 3. It was presented as an advertisement for a specific brand—commercialism is discouraged on Wikipedia. 3. It didn't add very much to the topic—the details of boot construction are beyond the scope of an encyclopedia article. I could suggest that you employ your skiing arsenal and photographic skills to good effect at the Cross-country skiing (sport) article, if you have both classic and skate racing gear that you could array on snow (or other blank background) to duplicate the general pictures in the Cross-country skiing article. Thank you! User:HopsonRoad 14:42, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Welcome!
