Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Video game character art

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:Video game character art indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 01:33, 30 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Hello, I'm TonySt. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Jak (Jak and Daxter) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. tony 01:28, 1 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Corrin (Fire Emblem). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. All articles you are trying to recreate en mass are on subjects previously ruled out as non-notable with no efforts made to establish how they are now notable. This is disruptive. λ NegativeMP1 01:42, 1 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Jak (Jak and Daxter), you may be blocked from editing. Aydoh8[what have I done now?] 11:15, 1 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Stop icon You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.

Important points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.

You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. QuicoleJR (talk) 15:39, 1 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Redirects

[edit]

Hello and thanks for your contributions. I see you have been removing redirects and attempting to restore pages to their pre-deletion/redirect/merge state. This is against consensus, as consensus had been reached at AFD regarding what should be done for those pages. This is the reason why those edits were reverted. Can you please tell me why you made these edits? #1, #2, #3

Your submission at Articles for creation: Red (Angry Birds) (October 2)

The comment the reviewer left was:
Unfortunately the trend in WP:VG of late is that evidence of secondary reception from reliable sources seems to make or break a character article. As that section is empty and the article lacks any sort of commentary about the character, it's likely to fail WP:GNG. You may feel this is a bit odd as Red is, to be fair, just a red bird, there's not a lot to evaluate. But that's sort of the problem - the article is currently a list of cultural appearances, and there's not much sourcing to the character beyond this. May need a deeper dive.

The comment the reviewer left was:
No change since the last decline. You do in fact need to find reliable sources on the reception of this character for this to pass. The current material there is completely uncited, and with phrases like douchebag personality, I'd hazard a guess not really based in the kind of sourcing we're looking for. Check out WP:VG/S and WP:VG/SE on how to find this sort of sourcing.

We're sorry, but we cannot accept blank submissions. If in fact you did include text within the article, but it isn't showing, please make sure that any extra text above your entry is removed, as it may be causing it to hide and not be shown to the reviewer.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
