Thanks for the reply! Going through your contributions however, I ended up discovering a very large number of erroneous LLM changes and created made a discussion on the admin incident board before you replied, as it seems that a lot of changes have to be reverted and I don't really have the special roles necessary to do so expediently. Request reason:

Yes, I don't understand how I was being disruptive. Maybe it was the 'nonsense' gargle in my first line (which you can thank my slow connection for) or the way I spoke? If it wasn't obvious, then I lack a concerning amount of interaction with people online using a suitable language. My way of typing is attributed to the fact I'm an ESL speaker, but that does not of course void me from being blocked for 'disruptive' behaviours. Now for my actual reason to be unblocked? I'd like to clarify a few more mistakes and give a clearly explanation?PeepeeDino (talk) 11:07, 8 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

If you don't understand how providing references that don't back up the information they claim to is disruptive, you are not currently capable of contributing productively to Wikipedia. SarekOfVulcan (talk) 15:54, 8 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, I feel a long time has passed for me to realize the errors of my old habits and to properly apologize for my previous actions.

During the span of two weeks of late July to early August , I mistakenly and horrendously used a Large Language Model (Specifically ChatGPT) to help with creating new articles. While I didn't think much of it, the admins during my discussion made it extremely obvious that not only was it wrong, it tainted the site as a place for ai-slop. I would've, of course, responded in a more professional matter and tone, however the circumstances at that time would not allow me to control my own emotions and thus, my disasteruos response during my first appeal.

So, I apologize for distributing false citations and claims, article-making using ai, and ignoring previous warnings from the higher ups. I've changed since the past 2-3 months, (while I've been indefinitely blocked) by contributing to my own Wiki's language (ms-wiki) and properly learning the ropes.

Hope this appeal sees you well, and I hope the block can be lifted. PeepeeDino (talk) 10:18, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

Given Richie333 has edited since, and no objections have been made, I'm unblocking on the condition that you are banned from using large-language models (in any way, shape, or form) while making any edits to Wikipedia. Sohom (talk) 13:54, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

cc @Ritchie333, thoughts? @PeepeeDino would you be willing to agree to a ban from using large-language models (in any way shape or form) while making any edits to Wikipedia as a condition to your unblock? -- Sohom (talk) 15:06, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
cc

Yes, I will sincerely stop all large-language models I've used in the past for all minor and major help. This think this also applies to translations and/or formatting code doesn't it?

If so, I'll do my best to edit with with full responsibility and precaution while also consulting help from actually more experienced editors on the site to guide me in stuff I'm less informed about. Realizating now that my efforts in churning out my old edits were just mere emotional satisfaction and not based on ensuring the quality said edits.

If it helps, I can start by re-editing my Kuantan 188 article to remove the LLM warning tag with some assistance that'll I'll definitely be needing.

Sorry again for all the trouble I've caused

About your reviews of my WP:MAR26 edits

[edit]

Hi, points to you for your reviews as part of WP:MAR26. I would like to comment on two negative ones of my edits. You are right that information was missing from the source added to Noregs Mållag; I've added a source for the member number and removed the number of local organizations, I guess I didn't count the list in the source (note that your review is misleading since the article never said 200 youth groups). Other reviewers added a {{cn}}-tag in this kind of case of partial sourcing except something specific, bringing attention to the more specific problems.

But regarding the other edit, at List of members of the Storting, 1981–1985, I don't follow the negative review. The page does indeed list the number of mandates for all elections since WW2, but I don't see it mixing it anything, it's just a bit oddly sorted. For some reasons they are but into groups of 4, but under 1977–1989 you find a column for 1981, and it gives the numbers and info in the paragraph it's added to (footnote mentions the election that had to be redone; I haven't found any good English term for omvalg). I just put the government list of names at the end because it doesn't seem reasonable to put that individually after each name. Would you reconsider that one or at least explain a bit more? //Replayful (talk | contribs) 20:38, 9 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, some further nitpicking: The source for Noregs Mållag was added Mar 1st, but was edited late March (your reviews were added Apr. 2nd). However, it turns out the version I used does indeed describe the member number as 16000, also mentions "approx. 170 local organizations and 17 fylke organizations", not that far from 200. For unknown reasons these two things were from the source in late March, but they were there when I added it. //Replayful (talk | contribs) 21:08, 9 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hello! Thanks for your feeback (I was hoping for more to highlight any of my mistakes, but alas you're the first!). I've looked at the source for Noregs Mållag that you gave. You're right! It clearly states the number of members and your approximate. However, because the source was updated, I didn't see it and so would everyone else who would want to explore the source. Even though the page is currently available, I would suggest using an archived source using Archive.org. Unless there's a way to freeze the page, it looks like that seems to be the only way to actually see the figures.
For the List of members of the Storting, 1981–1985, you have all the rights to be confused. Sorry! Let me expand on what I wanted to say: It wasn't confusing due to the numbers it gave, it matched well with what the article said. But looking at the timeline, it says between 1981–1985. 1981 had different number of members each party than 1985. With closer inspection actually... I might just be confused at how term limits and election years work.
I think you do deserve that 2nd source though, I was just bad at figuring which seats the article wanted. Can the list still be edited though? If so then I'd gladly tick the latter. Good work on the other articles though!
PeepeeDino (talk) 08:15, 10 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I can see why we were all confused! I fixed Noregs Mållag by adding another source for the membership number, removing the subgroup number (not important), so the current version should be in order.
About List of members of the Storting, 1981-1985, the title is a bit odd. The people elected in 1985 (as described in the 1985-column you mention) are handled in List of members of the Storting, 1985-1989. I suppose a more accurate title would be "List of members of the Storting elected 1981" (but that doesn't seem to fit with existing conventions). Norway has elections at fixed times every fourth year, so 1981-1985 is one membership period, 1985-1989 is another. What matters is the election in the election year (the first one) and then whatever changes happens through party changes or deaths, for instance.
If I were you, I'd just try to edit it and see what happens :) One point more would mean I'm secured 5. I asked somewhere else about the process for discussing reviews, but haven't had an answer yet. Thank you for your good work on reviewing! //Replayful (talk | contribs) 08:44, 10 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the delay but it would seem like the organizers had placed the final edit. Drats! If only the event was prolonged just a little bit more. Hope it's fine for you :>?

AUG26 reviews

[edit]

Hi! Thanks for reviewing several of my submissions for the WP:UA backlog drive.

I have a habit of defining references in the reference section at the end of the article. I hope that wasn't confusing. I find that it makes the wikicode much more readable.

The first article you reviewed for me was marked with Red XN Just listed citations in ref section with no incline cite

The diff (Special:Diff/1367096554) shows that there are some citations in one of the tables, though the article prose does remain uncited. Is that sufficient? – Reidgreg (talk) 13:52, 6 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello Reidgreg,
It does seem like I missed the ones in the boxes. Bit hard to really see while reviewing on mobile (especially late at night) Thanks for mentioning it!
I'll take back the review as soon as I can once I review another bunch. Shouldn't take too long.
