Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Olin J. Eggen—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 20:06, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message, Materialscientist. I’m always open to learning and improving my edits. In this case, I removed an unused/empty infobox parameter from the Olin J. Eggen page. (I accidentally added a ] in the death_place parameter, which was not intentional.)
- If there is a guideline or specific reason the unused parameter should be kept, please let me know. I’m happy to follow the appropriate practices. Thanks Phloxyte (talk) 08:33, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Rosie Hails, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. – Jonesey95 (talk) 20:28, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Jonesey95
- I just removed an unused/empty infobox parameter from the Rosie Hails page.
- Thanks Phloxyte (talk) 09:12, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
- First of all, please don't do that. Second, you removed a populated parameter called
|thesis_url=and left behind the URL. That caused syntax errors, which is how I ended up at the page. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:18, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Matthias Hartmann did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit and/or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
or in the visual editor:
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing →
Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button.
Thanks! – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:19, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Jonesey95
- Thank you for your openness and advice. I’ve been familiarizing myself with Wikipedia by making minor edits. Now, I’m planning to expand my contributions by working on stub articles, removing promotional and irrelevant phrases, eliminating primary sources that were added mainly for SEO purposes, and creating new articles.
- I need your supportive advice and any strategies you could share.
- Thanks Phloxyte (talk) 20:09, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 14
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Randy DuBurke, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gangland. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Blocked as a sockpuppet

Request reason:
I don't know who Instant History, YosefKT, or Xcccccccc123 are. I've never talked to them, worked with them, or done anything with them.
I access the internet through my phone's hotspot for my laptop, using Safaricom. It has millions of users in this city, and a lot of us end up sharing the same internet addresses. So if my address matches someone else's, that doesn't mean we know each other. I have no way of knowing who else uses the same network as me to edit Wikipedia.
On the overlapping articles, I mostly patrol new pages and take part in AfD discussions. That work often brings many editors to the same articles at once, since a lot of us follow NPP and end up looking at whatever's new or up for deletion. If they were doing the same kind of patrolling, that could explain the crossover.
I'm fine with another check. I'd appreciate an admin looking at this again.Decline reason:
Checkusers do not check accounts on the request of a user desiring a check(see WP:CHECKME). I just reviewed YosefKT's block, which is based on information communicated to the WP:COIVRT. They're globally locked as a sock. I see nothing here to suggest that this block is incorrect. 331dot (talk) 07:44, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Andrewkazimi (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was blocked for UPE because they created spam like First Friday's Group. You created an article about its founder Kristofer Madu and haven't disclosed. Then, you manipulated the result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adaption AI along with Xcccccccc123, AfprodAnalyst. UniversArch (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), Universmyg (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), Merillein (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), Lyser77 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) have edited related articles Sara Hooker, Sudip Roy (computer scientist), Adaption AI as per of assigned project. This is no coincidence. Universmyg and UniversArch have similar usernames. ~2026-42833-60 (talk) 20:49, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, I created an article for Kristofer Madu. If Andrewkazimi was blocked for undisclosed paid editing on First Friday's Group, does that mean I was paid for the founder's article too? I wasn't. I have no personal or financial relationship with Kristofer Madu or with Andrewkazimi.
On Adaption AI, I took part in that AfD and voted keep. My rationale was that The article meets WP:NCORP. Notability is established through independent reliable sources including FORTUNE, TechCrunch, OBSERVER The Economic Times these are not 'junk references'. My only concern is that it is a "new AI startup" and has not been around for a year. but I don't think the age of a company is a notability criterion
I've taken part in over 35 AfD discussions total, voting keep or delete depending on whether I think a subject meets the notability guidelines. This was just one of them.
I don't see why my account is linked to Universmyg and UniversArch just because their names look similar.
I think Sara Hooker and Sudip Roy (computer scientist) came up because of my role in the Adaption AI AfD.though I've never edited those pages. Beyond saying there's no coordination, I don't know how else to show it. I'm open to my edits being reviewed further. Lone Wolf howl 21:57, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- Endorse unblocking - Not a mod, just a frequent AfD patroller and this block came up in the second AfD discussion of that AI company. User seems to be an AfD frequent prowler (like me and others), and there seems to be little to no connection between the user here and the other people listed in the investigation - behavior patterns in AfD don't seem to match up (other supposed sockpuppets have mostly keep, Phloxyte has 7 keeps and 31 deletes), they don't seem to have any other consistent connection, they rarely commented on the same AfDs, etc - so I see no real proof or even evidence supporting this user being a sockpuppet. Also, for clarity, the investigation, as far as I can tell per the sockpuppet investigations phase, did not include universmyg, UniversArch, AndrewKazimi, Merrilein, etc - just three others.
