Speedy deletion of "Madhurendra Kumar Singh"
editA page you created, Madhurendra Kumar Singh, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Fair use rationale for File:Thakur_Jugal_Kishore_Sinha.JPG
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:Thakur_Jugal_Kishore_Sinha.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Secondly; current state Governors rank 4th in the national order of precedence in India;former governors figure nowhere in the list;current incumbents should take precedence instead of deceased ones.Is the one you mentioned your relative? List of people from Bihar
editWP:NLIST says that living people may not be included on lists of people unless we can verify 1) the person meets the criteria of the list (here, meaning they live(d) in Bihar), and 2) have some level of notability. Usually, this is verified on the person's wikipage itself (although, technically, if not, even a blue-linked entry may be deleted). Please do not re-add names of people who don't have such info verified. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page at any time. Thanks. Qwyrxian (talk) 21:50, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Mr Prabhat Mishra;in established democratic norms all over the world and in India; people who are current higher constitutional office bearer are obviously rated above those who have demitted office through expiration of term or demise! For Instance you cannot rate a former PM above the current PM in the warrant of precedence.Neither can you rate an officiating Governor or CM below a former one who has ceased to be on the post!I am personally related with the families being referred here! Both Ram Dulari dadi and Chhote Saheb were outstanding leaders by any standards but the fact cannot be changed that Satyendra babu debuted in politics(Provisional Parliament 1950) ealier than Ram Dulari (first Vidhan Sabha 1951-52)did!!(Like Thakur Jugal Kishore ji did much before Chhote Saheb)Also;it takes common sense to understand that Thakur Jugal Kishore Singh ji was still a young child(He was barely 9 years old!!) in 1917 when Dr Rajendra Prasad,Anugrah babu & Sri babu assisted Mahatama Gandhi and became prominent leaders on the national stage!!How can someone be hell bent to disfigure such a historical fact just to score a point??Is this not considered an outrageous act of vendetta?? And who is there to decide the so called "prominence" of an individual?? An motive of deliberate sycophancy or self vested interests?? None!! There has never been a second Mahatama gandhi in India nor a second JP!! Do a little research on the person you have tried to single out and find out the facts! Read S N Sinha's smriti volume and look what Ram Dulari Sinha has written about him("RD Sinha on SN Sinha-...Not just a personal relative but a guide, philospher and a senior collegue of mine who dominated Bihar politics to such an extent that Mrs Gandhi offered him the CM ship in 60s but he refused") Where does this prominence stands?? A Seven term veteran parliamentarian and a stalwart who was the De facto CM during 60s and known as the CM maker during 70s.Indira gandhi personally came to Bihar to admit him back in the party!.I appreciate your contributions but would like to concretely sum up that while you are free to significantly provide vital inputs(So is everyone);they should be backed by a sound authentic facts and nor just self proclaimed ideas! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sunny singh9128 (talk • contribs)
- Sorry, but the burden is on you to provide reliable sources to verify those claims. If you know of reliable sources (newspaper articles, scholarly journals, etc.) that verify both the person lives/lived in Bihar and is notable, then you can add the name with that citation. Note that your personal knowledge as a part of his family is not sufficient per our policies on verification. If you don't know how to format the reference, I'll be happy to help you, but we have to verify both of those claims (notability and residence) in order to add the name. Qwyrxian (talk) 12:25, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- By the way, why are you (Sunny Singh) responding to this concern here? Are you somehow related to this account? Qwyrxian (talk) 12:28, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Let me put things straight on record;Mr Mishra left a message on the talk page that recently caught my attention and its just a reply to what Mishra has categorically stated.Certainly everyone has the right to contribute genuine scholarly articles.
List of Rajputs
editJust as you had problems noted in the sections above, so too you are doing things poorly at List of Rajputs. I have replied to your comment on that article's talk page. It simply is not acceptable to keep up this habit of inserting statements without any regard for our policies etc, which have been explained to you before. For that reason, I am adding a note below that you really, really should consider. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 07:09, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Salvio Let's talk about it! 21:12, 25 February 2012 (UTC)Warning
editYour comment at User talk:Sitush was a violation of WP:AGF. Do not accuse others of "interfering" when they are acting quite correctly. What you claim to know personally is irrelevant here - you cannot add someone to a "List of..." caste article unless you can provide evidence that they self-identify as a member of that caste. And do not slap that caste warning template on other people when it is you who is in violation of Wikipedia's verifiability policy. You have already been blocked for repeatedly adding unsourced content to List of Rajputs, and you will be blocked again under the sanctions that you have been warned about if you continue with your battlefield approach to editing on caste related articles -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:38, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Last warning
editThis is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Mr. Mishra. either you are absolutely ignorant or either you are stubborn;in both the cases you cannot dictate terms here. At first place, you have been severely warned both by registered administrators and voluntary contributors because of your attempted act of sabotage and vandalism and secondly your 'self perceived' perceptions. Kindly, do a little research (Of The numerous books, documentaries and papers available with Bihar Archives and even the well published articles of Bihar state Gazzette.Even a judicious usage of google will help you!).An article, specifically, it is about a person or group of people, whom have held constitutional offices of importance at state and national level are acceptable. It doesnot imply ever that their sons- daughters and kiths and kins would be accorded similar importance!.Then we have some CM or Governor or PM's sons and daughters in place here which is never the cae here(Unless they themselves are holding official positions to be marked as important)You have been consistently promoting son and grandson of a former office holder which is extremely objectionable and a cowardly act.Being shameless and autocratic dosenot help always Mr Mishra;try to use your little pervert brain which is deep into sycophancy.People's importance and notability lies open with their legislative experience and which is all but nothing here!! Their personal relation does not indicate how they are important or significant for state or country, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. But, you will never understand it because you have been planted here to perform such acts. While your relevant, important and constructive edits are most welcome and even promoted by many;your idiotic act of exalting someone will neither help then gain a single inch of political space nor help then win elections because of fake and false propaganda. You accuse others of trying to get cheap attention;and what the hell are you doing here vandalist?? If someone has actually been a part of state's or nation's political social history and held top electoral offices;it doesnot take any individual's testimonial(Neither me nor you) to establish it! However, it does takes efforts to to 'exalt' a person of non-importance who otherwise would have been hitherto recognised by anyone. If some one's children are themselves official authorities and office holders of highest considerable merit;they automatically qualify to be included in the wikipedia but not when they are nothing but mere sons and daughters and relatives.Answer a simple question; what kind of temperament has forced you to link the image of Mr. Madhurendra Kumar Singh to various pages; from the districts to parlimentary constitueny; where he has neither been elected nor ever won from any assembly or parliamentary constituency ever in his life.If such is your 'criteria' why don't you include the names of all the hundreds of runners up, previous contestants and self proclaimed leaders who 'hold command of leadership' but are fallen apart and rejected in every election(Hope you don't claim that the entire electoral system is fruad and that they should be directly made the President of country of even a MLA or MP of their 'region of command').Now, a little awakener for you!.I have Known Madhurendra personally; since his student days.A suave, softspoken individual with illustrious roots but poor electoral record and ir-relevance in today;s Bihar politcs(AS of now).He has held senior organizational positions but as we speak;he is never considered to be the head of Bihar Congress and his nominations are rejected and he himself has never ever been sought after by other parties nor ever won as an independent.I am also aware of his political credentials;facts he has told me in private discussions and offcourse being a journalist and political commentator gives me ample knowledge.Your outburst is simply idiotic.Let me remind you and inform you; I have all the time in the world to be on Wikipedia and elsewhere;you do a million edits and i will follow up with a million plus one reverts of your nonsense works or you contribute in accordance with policy of articles on living people;promote my friend Madhurendra Kumar BUT with worthy contents and don't ever distort biographical stubs to dictate your point.Else your acts of extreme sycophancy will earn you the ire of not only others but also the key administrators who would push all of your hoax contents out and ensure they are never replicated! AS of now, I in my personal capacity has not touched or removed any info. related to the people you are trying to push and promote(Even though you have exposed your individualistic bias to one and all)but if you try to outmanouvre others to force your stupid facts you will be literally nipped in the bud! What do you know about them , you are trying to promote.Being a Rajput, let me warn you; your distorted mentality will not help you. It's high time; keep updating your favourite profiles but don't you ever try to perform acts of blatant revertion else you will be paid back in the same coin. You keep doing your edits and let others do theirs;and if there is conflict(Which is unlikely) discuss and don't dictate else you will be kicked out and so will be yours hoax edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.215.87.197 (talk) 20:39, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Sourcing
editYou have had lots of warnings in a short time and still you persist in making poor, unsourced and sometimes POV-y contributions, such as your recent efforts at Sheohar (Lok Sabha constituency). I am not going to bother explaining the policies or linking to them once more: just take a read of this talk page and please check out the various policies that are mentioned in it. If you continue to disrupt the project then you will be blocked from contributing again, but for a longer period than you were previously. - Sitush (talk) 07:40, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
June 2012
editThis is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Sheohar (Lok Sabha constituency), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sitush (talk) 08:27, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Another summary of rules you should pay attention to before you get blocked
editHere are some important guidelines and a summary of them:
- Always cite a source for any new information. When adding this information to articles, using <ref>reference tags like this</ref>, containing the name of the source, the author, page number, publisher or web address (if applicable). - You have not done this for Sheohar (Lok Sabha constituency). That is why your edits are being reverted.
- "Truth" is not the criteria for inclusion, verifiability is. - This is why we we ask for reliable sources.
- Reliable sources typically include: articles from magazines or newspapers (particularly scholarly journals), or books by recognized authors (basically, books by respected publishers). Online versions of these are usually accepted, provided they're held to the same standards. User generated sources (like Wikipedia) are to be avoided. Self-published sources should be avoided except for information by and about the subject that is not self-serving (for example, citing a company's website to establish something like year of establishment).
- Articles are to be written from a neutral point of view. Wikipedia is not concerned with facts or opinions, it just summarizes reliable sources. Real scholarship actually does not say what understanding of the world is "true," but only with what there is evidence for. - Terms such as "freedom fighter" and "popular" are rather subjective and require very good sourcing to support.
- Credentials are irrelevant, noone here cares about them, we will ignore them. - We do not care where you live, or what your profession is. If you really are a professor of geography and political science at Patna university, as you have claimed on Sitush's talk page, then you should have access to good sources and should know how to cite sources.
- Assume good faith as much as reasonably possible, and then about half-way past the border for unreasonable possibility. - Sitush knows more about Wikipedia's rules than you do. If you want him to trust you about Sheohar, try trusting him on this site's rules.
If you do not pay attention to this explanation of site rules, you will have no excuse if you get blocked. If you do not follow these rules, you will be blocked. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:47, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
Please note that sockpuppetry (which includes editting from an IP instead of your account) is also not allowed. I could report you right now for this attempt at sockpuppetry. We have shown a great deal of patience with you, and you keep spitting on us for it. Perhaps you should be blocked. Ian.thomson (talk) 20:20, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
September 2012
editHello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Rajputs, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
You have had an awful lot of warnings and seem still not to be learning how Wikipedia operates. I accept that you may not like how it operates, but that is somewhat irrelevant: if you feel so strongly then you need either to open a discussion to change the consensus regarding policies or you should find some other outlet for your enthusiasm. Sorry, but this really is the last straw. Sitush (talk) 00:05, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, List of Rajputs, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 16:20, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 14:30, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
The article Madhurendra Kumar Singh has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. 331dot ( it is a relevant article,he is an important politician of congress in Bihar,India so people should know more and more about him,i feel this article should be on Wikipedia as it does not contain hate speech or any propoganda, it is just a page about an Indian Politician who brought change to the student movement of the 1970s and 1980s and most importantly i have done lot of research on Madhurendra) 10:33, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Madhurendra Kumar Singh
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Madhurendra Kumar Singh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 331dot (talk) 11:45, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
July 2017
editYour recent editing history at List of Rajputs shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
- You have to stop repeatedly inserting unsourced statements. I don't care if "everyone in India" knows it is correct - Wikipedia requires verifiability and in the case of caste-related stuff that means reliable sources of a high standard, not just what your friend/relative/neighbour told you. Madhurendra Kumar Singh
editI don't think it is justified to keep the article " Madhurendra Kumar Singh" for deletion, he is the only farmer leader of Bihar, his involvement in the cooperative movement and his association with Indian National Congress is also there. He is the most popular leader of North Bihar. Prabhatmishra1985 (I think that this article must stay on the wikipedia, it does not violate the standards of wikipedia.
