Editing Concerns
edit- Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Kukini 08:00, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- This edit [1] is vandalism. Please desist. Kukini 08:02, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, but... the people who assume good faith always seem to have more effect on me than those who just tell me what I've done wrong and that I must stop.
Your signature
editPlease could you reduce the size (and garishness) of you signature, as suggested by WP:SIG? The mentioned policy says that all signatures should be below 200 characters in length (around 2.5 lines on the edit window, depending on screen resolution). Your signature is far too long, and can serve to disrupt discussions, especially when it is actually longer than your comment. Thank you for your co-operation. Martinp23 01:48, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- What he said. That is a very long and distracting signature. See WP:SIG#Important considerations.
- See also Wikipedia:Username#Using multiple user accounts which strongly advises against having multiple accounts. Thanks. —Quiddity 02:38, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
