Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!
Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~ ); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Please note that is not very nice to just undo changes, unless you believe that they are really wrong. In the case of Sqn Ldr S.P.Singh my change was actually a technical one, because the link Hyderabad does not directly lead to the correct city, but to a so-called disambiguation page, because there exist several places with this name. In Wikipedia, links should, if possible, not point to such disambiguation pages, this is why I changed the link to Hyderabad (you notice the difference only when you click on the link, so my change did not even change the aspect of the article), referring to the city in Andhra Pradesh, where the Indian Air Force Academy is located. I did this actually as a part of a large effort of many users to reduce links to disambiguation pages, see Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages maintenance (this link is also in my log message).

I have seen that you have also undone Shyamsunder's changes, which I believe have been reasonable as well. For instance the style of Wikipedia articles, and biographies, should be uniform, I suggest you take a look at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies).

Please note that we do appreciate your work, our edits are intended to improve and standardize and not to destroy your contribution. But this also requires cooperation from your side. I have already re-applied my change for linking to the correct city, and I would invite you to undo your undos of Shyamsunder's changes. Thanks and have fun with Wikipedia. Speedy deletion of Incord

edit

A tag has been placed on Incord, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Incord. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. faithless (speak) 10:13, 1 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Hbti.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 10:55, 1 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Shirash Pal Singh

edit

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Shirash Pal Singh, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Sportsperson india

edit

A tag has been placed on Sportsperson india, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you believe that there is a reason to keep the redirect, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --mordicai.
