Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Climate data
editI noticed you have been changing climate data on California articles, such as Chula Vista, California, without updating your source. Where are you getting your data? Magnolia677 (talk) 11:07, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
National varieties of English
editIn a recent edit to the page Redding, California, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 09:22, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

editHello, I'm 7Sidz. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to 2014 Israel–Gaza conflict in video games— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. 7Sidz (talk) 05:10, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at BMX XXX with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. 7Sidz (talk) 05:12, 6 May 2016 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Kill la Kill, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. —Farix (t | c) 10:50, 5 July 2016 (UTC)

Problems with upload of File:Geneon.svg
editThanks for uploading File:Geneon.svg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Unmotivated deletions
editI notice you have consequently removed the Category:Video game controversies from a lot of games that certainly fit the criteria, without giving any kind of motivation as to why. Hence I'd like you to either give a reason as to why the deletions should remain, or that you restore your edits. BP OMowe (talk) 00:09, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
- Well, there's a new Category called "Obscenity Controversies in video gaming", and many games on the existing "Video Game Controversies" page overlapped with that one, similar to many films listed with "Obscenity controversies in film" overlapping with "Film controversies" until recently. Razzamatazz Buckshank (talk) 3:06 22 January 2017 (UTC)
- That is a good reason. However, shouldn't the "Obscenity"-category be regarded as a non-diffusing sub to the "Controversies"? BP OMowe (talk) 14:45, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Geneon.svg
editThank you for uploading File:Geneon.svg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.
ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 8 November 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. editOrphaned non-free image File:Mainframe Studios logo.png
editThanks for uploading File:Mainframe Studios logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:50, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

Disney+ and Netflix original
editStop adding series to Category:Netflix original anime and Category:Disney+ original anime just because they are available on those platforms. The fact that the platform have streaming rights to certain works don't automatically make them "original". This makes less sense when it comes to works that came out long before the launch of both platforms. Xexerss (talk) 19:18, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Well I removed the Disney+ original anime category from Macross Frontier and Delta as they fall under that same mold as the rest of the Macross shows. They're just exclusively streaming on disney+ but they're not branded as originals like say Sand Land. Razzamatazz Buckshank (talk) 19:39, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
