Reediewes
Hi there. Welcome to Wikipedia! I moved your article JB (play) to the new title of J.B. (with periods). Thanks a lot for writing it. I wrote the article on Macleish, but to be honest I haven't read any of his work, which is why the sections on his artistic merit are so slim.
I hope you like it here and stick around. If you want, you can drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself.
Before you start doing a lot of editing, you might want to take the Tutorial. It gives a lot of basic info you'll want to get you oriented on Wikipedia.
You can sign your name on talk pages by using three tildes (" ~~~ ") for your username and four (" ~~~~ ") for your username and a timestamp.
If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Help desk. You can also drop me a question on my talk page.

- 2am? Gee. It's a bit past 4am here. I'm not sure I'd call that "impressive" or "pathetic" though. :-)
- As to the question of POV in the article, it looks ok to me but since I haven't read the play I can't say for sure. One thing you could do, if you're feeling ambitious, is find some published criticism and cite it. The play is important enough that a good high school library, some public libraries, and all college libraries should have something that fits the bill. Isomorphic 08:12, 15 May 2005 (UTC)

WikiFun Round 9: Lightning Round Time
editI have decided to attempt to advance and end the round quickly. Parts of the question will be revealed with more hints and/or be more elaborated on as every two days. I have currently provided more hints on the answer pages for the current remaining questions. --AllyUnion (talk) 08:32, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
User categorization
editGreetings! Your user page hasn't been vandalized :-) --it was updated to use the new User Categorization scheme. I have categorized your User Page as a Wikipedian in Montana (Category:Wikipedians in Montana) since your name was listed on the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Montana page. The Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Montana page is scheduled for deletion. Thanks! Roby Wayne Talk • Hist 23:09, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

Wikipedia Campus Ambassadors wanted in Bozeman, Montana
editHi! I'm leaving you this message because you're listed as a Wikipedian in Montana. The Wikipedia Ambassador Program is currently looking for Campus Ambassadors to help with Wikipedia assignments at Montana State University - Bozeman, which will be participating in the Public Policy Initiative for the Spring 2011 semester. The role of Campus Ambassadors will be to provide face-to-face training and support for students on Wikipedia-related skills (how to edit articles, how to add references, etc.). This includes doing in-class presentations, running workshops and labs, possibly holding office hours, and in general providing in-person mentorship for students.
Prior Wikipedia skills are not required for the role, as training will be provided for all Campus Ambassadors (although, of course, being an experienced editor is a plus).
I know Montana is a big state, but if you happen to live near Bozeman and you are interested in being a Wikipedia Campus Ambassador, or know someone else from Bozeman who might be, please email me or leave a message on my talk page.--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 21:29, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:54, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
