Hi, I'm Revenger999, and welcome to my Wikipedia talk page!

Welcome to Wikipedia. Can I urge you not to start your wiki career by editing genres? This is a rather controversial aspect of editing. I have reverted one of your edits because you replaced referenced content with something unreferenced. It would be better to start editing in other areas first :) — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:58, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that. I had noticed that someone else had added a reliable source during a previous edit, and so I thought that source was still there. Since I'm new to Wikipedia, that's my bad. Also, can do. Where would you suggest I edit first? Revenger999 (talk) 17:38, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hi Revenger999, I'm Encoded and I've been assigned as your mentor. Welcome to Wikipedia!

About half of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor chosen randomly from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. I recommend that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier. If you need help using Wikipedia you can send me a message on my talk page, use the help button or ask at the Teahouse, a friendly newcomer helpdesk. The welcome page also contains an array of resources that you may find useful.

Here's also some pages that I found helpful whilst starting out:

If you need assistance with anything, have any questions, or just want to say hello please feel free to send me a message, I'm always happy to help :) Encoded Talk to me! 11:15, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and thanks in advance for all the help! I look forward to learning the ropes of editing on Wikipedia from you so that I can become a great editor here! Revenger999 (talk) 17:47, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

is declined.   Confirmed sockpuppetry, as unambiguous as I've ever seen in my time here. --Yamla (talk) 22:02, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Actually, it's not confirmed- as the checkuser is wrong! It happens- get over it! Revenger999 (talk) 22:04, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
