Speedy deletion nomination of Tiwa Savage
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tiwa Savage requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Do not undo my edits and not provide a reason for doing so, like you did at Talk That Talk. The singles' charts do not belong in the album article. The correct place to edit that kind of information is at Rihanna discography. Till I Go Home (talk) 08:33, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
Please
editPlease, when your citing sources, please use the full style. Don't just wrap the ref links around them. I have to continually go into what you edit and correctly source them. And that takes away from my time on Wikipedia. Thank you. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 16:37, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- Really? You have to ignore what I just asked you? You're unreal and it's quite rude. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 23:46, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- And do not copy/paste something from an article. That violates WP:Plagarism and is against the law and can get you and the site in trouble. Either re-write in your own words or do not contribute because now I have to over-look everything you've put up. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 23:52, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
Can you please stop violating WP:PLAGARISM when you edit this article. And please correctly source per WP:CITE. You continue to be sloppy in your editing on this article, and it's a bit tedious. File permission problem with File:Teairramaripromshot.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Teairramaripromshot.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 10:46, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
all uploaded images deleted
editRobynloud, I have deleted all of the images you have uploaded. The claim you have made that the images are under the free creative commons licence is obviously incorrect and the images were blatantly violating the rights of the copyright owner. Please do not claim a free (creative commons) licence for images taken from commercial websites or any place where the licence is not explicitly stated- Peripitus (Talk) 10:53, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:CherylColeunderthesunvideo.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:CherylColeunderthesunvideo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 05:27, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

When articles about albums are created, we are required to meet specific criteria for inclusion in the encyclopedia. All articles on albums, singles or other recordings must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines, with significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Unreleased material is only notable if it has significant independent coverage in reliable sources. An album should not have an article independent from the artist until its title, full track listing and release date have all been publicly confirmed by the artist or their record label. When this information is lacking, the community guidelines require redirecting the article to that of the artist. Therefore, the Girl on Fire (album) article has been redirected to the Alicia Keys article. Outside of redirecting the article, our only option is deletion and salting. Realistically, any deletion discussion in this case would result in redirecting the article until we have the required content, supported by reliable sources (which do not include blogs). Accordingly, please do not restore the article content without the basic information required, supported by sources. For more information, please review: WP:NALBUMS and WP:CRYSTAL. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me. Cindy(talk to me) 00:47, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Nomination of Rihanna's seventh studio album for deletion
editA discussion is taking place as to whether the article Rihanna's seventh studio album is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rihanna's seventh studio album until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. — ΛΧΣ21™ 17:07, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
Would you please stop adding in information that doesn't check out from it's sources. I went through all the sources, and cleaned the article up, and you keep restoring it. Quotes about what somebody said are irrelevant. If there's only one sentence in a section, there's no need for a new section. Zac 20:10, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Copying into Justin Bieber article
editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one page into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to make a note in an edit summary at the source page as well. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 02:56, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

October 2012
editYour addition to Cheryl Cole has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Your recent editing history at Cheryl Cole shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 23:50, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you add an inappropriate image to Wikipedia again, as you did at Cheryl Cole, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 23:51, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

- Repeatedly getting blocked in the recent past for adding different copyvio images to various articles is bad enough, but edit-warring to re-add the same non-free image to an article multiple times, even after the recent blocks, as in these recent examples: Undid revision 517486809 by Rrburke (talk), Undid revision 517488671 by Rrburke (talk) the image off cole in a blue dress is free!!! so stop removing it, unfortunately crosses over to competence issues. Having said that, perhaps a permanent restriction for uploading or inserting images to any article could possibly be a way out of this indefinite block, except if other text-based edits by this editor are also determined to have copyright issues. And by the way this only remaining image upload by this editor also looks like a copyvio. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 16:17, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
