Hampshire County Cricket Club current squad
editCurrent Hampshire Cricket website lists Abbott as wearing 11 and Fidel as wearing 82. Why does this change keep being undone by you?
Website is out of date, as Abbott and Edwards both changed to wearing 51 and 20 respectively at the start of last season. If there are any other changes i'll update. Harriesss (talk) 11:43, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Racing Point Force India into Racing Point F1 Team. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:14, 4 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Rugby players' articles
editHi Harriesss, Good day. I noticed you have created some rugby players' article and would like to inform you that the subjects (Rugby players) are notable if they pass WP:NRU where by they have played at least one match under the league / competition indicated. Sources from press releases, player database on matches they have played, user generate sites info, sites associate with the subjects, home page and etc are considered not independent / reliable for such they can not contribute to the notability of the subjects. Pls add in the content including the inline references (at least 3 independent, reliable sources) once the players have played their first match and ping me so I could review the article for you and place them on the mainspace of Wikipedia. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 07:18, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

References
editHEllo, can you please add inline citations to Nick Scott? It has no clear refs at the moment. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 07:22, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
- Added some that I could find. Harriesss (talk) 10:21, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
Hi - I was reviewing this article, and noticed that the only ref in it didn't actually mention the subject. I've removed the ref, and so the article is now unreferenced and liable to be deleted. I'm going to PROD it, but if you can find some reliable sources that actually mention the subject, you can contest the PROD and the article will be saved. Cheers GirthSummit (blether) 13:59, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
The article Bruce Houston has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Munster
editHi there @Harriesss:, apologies for reverting your changes on the Munster page, I didn't realise there was a new format being used, I have un-done my undo where I can. Again, apologies. MunsterFan2011 (talk) 16:00, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hi @MunsterFan2011:, No worries thanks for keeping the page updated. Personally I think this format is neater and uses less space and I am continuing to update pages as seasons end (Glasgow, Leinster, Ospreys and Scarlets to do minus the South African teams who name complete squads at later dates). From what I can find Rhys Marshall and Jean Kleyn become Irish qualified this year so have added those as well. I'm not sure if there are any coaching changes though so could you update those if there are some. Many thanks. Harriesss (alk) 16:05, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you too @Harriesss:. Yes, a few coaches are leaving, so I've updated where appropriate. Kleyn becomes Irish-qualified in August and Marshall shortly after I believe, so thanks for adding their *'s! :) MunsterFan2011 (talk) 16:16, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
- One final thing @MunsterFan2011:, couldn't find any information on when Keynon Knox arrived in Ireland, so not sure if he needs an * or not yet. If you know and he does, could you add if possible. Thanks again. Harriesss (talk) 16:25, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hi @Harriesss:, Knox arrived in Ireland in December 2017, so he will become Irish-qualified during the 2020–21 season. MunsterFan2011 (talk) 16:31, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
List of 2019–20 Pro14 transfers
editHello @Harriesss:, I thought I would explain a few undo's here, rather than on on the page history. Firstly, it was agreed some time ago (3 seasons ago, perhaps longer, I forget) that the list of transfers should be in chronological order of when they are announced, rather than grouping them by players moving to another club, retiring etc, and that if multiple players were included in the same press release, then they would be grouped alphabetically by surname. This is why I moved Bill Johnston to the end of the Munster outs, as his transfer is the most recent. Obviously some players who have been released may go on to join new clubs, but this isn't always the case. If you feel this should is wrong and should change, you should start a discussion on the talk page for the article, or perhaps on the rugby union project page, to seek a consensus amongst contributors.
Secondly, Ian Nagle joined Ulster on loan from Leinster in November 2018 for the remainder of the 2018–19 season, so, whilst he was playing his rugby with Ulster, his parent club, as the club he was still technically contracted to, was Leinster. As he been released by Leinster at the end of this season, I believe he should in fact be listed in their outs for the 2019–20 season, as he was still contracted to Leinster until the end of the 18/19 season.
I hope this goes some way to explaining why I have carried out some undo's. MunsterFan2011 (talk) 13:08, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
Brandon Thomson
editUnfortunately is tied under World Rugby regulations.
You are right - that Thomson is Scottish Qualified through his father; and that he has represented South Africa U20.
World Rugby changed its rules on U20 qualification at the end of 2017. Unfortunately Thomson was played for SA U20s before that. The rule change is NOT retrospective so the new rule doesn't apply to him. (South Africa was one of those quirky national sides that previously used the U20 junior side as a capture side.)
Thomson remains tied to South Africa and can't - as the rule stands - play for Scotland or anyone else.
If you want to campaign for World Rugby to make the change retrospective, I'd be right behind you - I think they should! But until a member nation challenges the ruling Thomson CANNOT play for Scotland.
Hello, Harriesss,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Ivan van Rooyen, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to prevent the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click
Publish Changes
button.
But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}

- Hi @Onel5969:, Have added an addition source that further states him being coach of the Golden Lions Currie Cup side as well as being interim coach of the Lions Super Rugby side, both being professional leagues and so seeming to meet WP:NRU for rugby notability. Will also add to the talk page. Thanks. Harriesss (alk) 17:01, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
