Your contributed article, Highest Currencies in the World

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Highest Currencies in the World. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Exchange rate. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Exchange rate – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. OnionRing (talk) 07:51, 5 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm OnionRing. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Elizabeth Fensham has been undone because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Help me. The article I created formerly 'Highest Currencies in the World', does not have similiar information to respective article 'Exchange Rate'. Highest Currencies in the World contains information such as how the Great Britain Pound Sterling's value has historically changed over time, and so forth. My article also contains news about how the 'Brexit' vote is affecting the exchange rate of Great Britain Pound Sterling, whereas this information does not consist in 'Exchange Rate'.

I hope you take my concern into consideration.

Law Significance

I've deleted it as an implausible redirect. The term simply doesn't google and therefore will not likely be typed by anyone into a searchbox. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:52, 9 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your contributions are appreciated. You are very welcome here. However, I have encountered possible copyright violation(s). Some or all of the content you added when creating Law of Jordan appears to have been copy pasted from this source. The article has been deleted.

Please remember that you must write in your own words. We cannot copy and paste from other websites. If I have made an error, please accept my apologies.

For further information, please read Wikipedia:Copyright violations. If you have questions, please ask. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:10, 10 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop and learn a bit before editing more. You are creating a lot of content/pages that are mainly your opinion and are not encyclopedic or reliably sourced. Please read some of the links at the top of this page about how to edit constructively. Many thanks for your understanding. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:17, 10 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I can see now that you are browsing Wikipedia:Requested articles and making articles that are listed there. Please exercise caution when doing this. Many of those items are covered elsewhere or may not be notable. Wikipedia:Requested articles/Images is a good page. I do my best to ensure items there are not covered elsewhere and are notable. In any case, please read what I wrote above about how to contribute constructively. Thank you. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:24, 10 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am very sorry. I will make sure I will learn how to produce constructive content. Please take my apology into consideration. Shaanveer khanna (talk) 04:59, 10 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
No need to be sorry. You are doing your best. If there is any way for me to help or you have any questions, please ask. Thank you, and happy editing. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:01, 10 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

A good way to understand things:

If you are adding content to articles, take facts from good sources. Rewrite those facts in your own words and add the sources to show where they came from, like this:

Rabbits are cute.<ref>http://www.about-rabbits.com</ref>
They eat carrots.<ref>http://www.rabbit-diet-info.org</ref>

If you are starting a new article, do the above, but first, check to see if it is notable by reading WP:42 and then search Wikipedia to see if it is already covered elsewhere.

Best,

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:05, 10 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Linda Esposito

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Linda Esposito requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.southpasadenatherapist.net/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". —C.Fred (talk) 00:01, 11 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Act of April 10, 1806

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Act of April 10, 1806 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". —C.Fred (talk) 00:14, 11 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop the disruptive editing and listen to what Anna Frodesiak has said above. You need to understand what an encyclopaedia is and about our policies before you continue to contribute. Your recent edits, again

edit

You just nominated a high-quality, featured article for speedy deletion for the reason "...This article is too outdated. It shows a number of opinions, not facts. Many people from the nation itself are against the information provided in this article...". The article in question, India, was created by hundreds of editors making a total of 22,676 edits over fifteen years, and is supported by 350 quality references and a lengthy bibliography.

I hate to say this, but I am not sure you are competent enough to edit here. You have started six articles, almost all deleted or redirected. You have copy pasted content. You have deleted page content accidentally. In fact, I am having a hard time finding any constructive edits in the forty you have made so far. I am afraid the best course for you is to start slowly under guidance. Please allow me to help. What do you think? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 06:16, 11 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Despondently, I'm finding it very difficult creating or editing an article on Wikipedia. It seems like I just can't make an article that meets the standard of Wikipedia. Hello. I am Diannaa and I am an administrator on this wiki. I've hidden your revisions on an article you created, Tau (constant), as it appears that you copied it directly from another website. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the law to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. There's more information about copyrights and how it applies to Wikipedia at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. Copyright law and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policies. Thanks, ----

More copy pasting

edit

I have deleted Law of Jordan. It was copy pasted from pages at www.kinghussein.gov.jo and that site says: this. The content is copyright protected.

So, I am sorry to say this, but any future edits you make must be under my guidance, period. Really, I am sorry, but you are having trouble making constructive edits and administrators at Wikipedia can not tolerate any more copyright violations from you or we would be derelict in our duty.

Now, if you still wish to edit here, you can pick from a number of things that will be good practice. There are many areas you can still edit. Are you interested? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:22, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello Shaanveer khanna, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Law of Jordan has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:57, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because I have clearly put quotation mark around the area that has been copied from a website. I have also included my own words in this article. Please do not speedy delete this article. It's the same with every other article. Please don't block me. Please. - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 02:06, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Shaanveer khanna. We may copy small amounts of text (a couple sentences) with proper attribution if a quote is absolutely necessary. Copying large amounts of text and just sticking quote marks around them is still a copyright violation. For example, copying a New York Times report into an article and surrounding it with quotes is a violation. --NeilN talk to me 02:14, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

You just recreated Law of Jordan again with more copy pasted content. You also did not respond to what I wrote above. If you want to talk about this, please do. I am listening. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:03, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I will unblock you, but first let's talk, okay? I have deleted Law of Jordan four times now. Each time with copy pasted content. When unblocked, you must promise to stay away from anything that involves copypasting, at least in the near future. Can you agree to this? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:19, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I agree. - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 02:22, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
That's great news. I don't want you to be blocked. I want you to be a good, constructive editor. I will help you, but you have to listen to me. I wrote above "...So, I am sorry to say this, but any future edits you make must be under my guidance, period..." and you ignored me and recreated that article.
So, I will unblock you with your promise that you absolutely will not copy paste anything again and will edit under my guidance or the guidance of other experienced editors. Understand that if you copy paste again, you will be blocked immediately and probably permanently. Once unblocked, please, first, discuss with me or others what you intend to do. Then, we can work together and get you started on the right track. Okay? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:27, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes. I promise I will only edit under the guidance of you or experienced editors. Thank you very much. - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 02:41, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

You are now unblocked. Let's call this a fresh start. There are lots of people here who can help and you are very, very welcome here. In fact, anyone reading this who would like to help this newcomer, please say.
So, let's discuss what you'd like to do here. Would you like suggestions? There are fun areas to edit that you may not know about. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:05, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I think the page, 'Javed Akhtar (cricketer)', should be speedy deleted, as it is a stub, and has very, very little or no information. I reccomend it should be speedy deleted, do you agree? - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 03:17, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Also, I think the page 'Fuck' should be deleted as well, because children viewers might receive a bad effect from such information. - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 03:24, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

See the Wikipedia guideline Wikipedia is not censored. It will help you understand why the page exists. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:25, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
Shaanveer, you can read WP:CRIN and then let me know. I am not familiar with cricket notability guidelines. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:31, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • (edit conflict)This is mainly a suggestion for Anna Frodesiak: I think this user should be prevented from discussing or nominating for any speedy or other deletions for a few months; during this time any new article creations should also be within their own sandbox so that it can be verified before heading elsewhere. I jsut had to revdel more copyvio from Pakistan. I also see that The Invisible Hero which is now redirected is also copyvio, I haven't been able to find the sources for all of it, just one paragraph which is taken from Penguin's book promo note, but I have no doubt that the rest of it is taken from somewhere else too. Anna, while discussing deletion nominations with you is probably fine, I'm apprehensive of what might happen when you aren't around for a few hours as I'm fairly sure that you have to sleep and are likely in a different time zone. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 03:32, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
SpacemanSpiff, good advice! Sticking to safe areas is best. I'd suggested above that the sandbox is the right place to work (search: You could prepare it at). Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:43, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
Shaanveer khanna, and @Anna Frodesiak: It appears that Javed Akhtar is notable per WP:CRIN, as he has played in a Test cricket match. Shaanveer khanna, articles are not deleted because they have little information, but usually because they are not notable. Yes, the Javed Akhtar (cricketer) article looks bad at the moment, but it could be improved. Chickadee46 (talk|contribs) (WP:MCW) 03:36, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Okay. I agree. - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 03:40, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

In the article, The Invisible Hero, I did not copy one single word from any source, except the promo note. I have read the book myself. - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 03:42, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you all

Apology

edit

I have been told that Article 7 of Jordan's copyright protection law of 1992 says that "Laws, regulations, judicial decisions, etc, are not subject to copyright protection.[1] So, I am sorry that I accused you of copyright violations. I was wrong. I saw the sources as the King of Jordan's website and figured that was where it originated. I always thought that the king makes the laws in such countries.

Anyway, I do not think an article that comprises mainly a giant copy paste of the law is a viable article. Encyclopedia articles should be more than just that, and can link to websites that post the law.

In any case, please do not go ahead and copy paste material right now. In the future, we can show you how to quote, how much to quote, how to cite and attribute, how to identify public domain content, etc. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:31, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Finding an area to edit

edit

Shaanveer, let's approach this from another point of view. Rather than suggesting what you'd like to do, let's list some areas that are good practice and you pick one. Let's learn step by step, okay?

Here are some areas where you could help:

  • Use your sandbox to prepare a single sentence fact with a supporting reference. We can check it. Then you can add it to an article.
  • We show you unsourced articles and you find a reference or two.
  • You draft a new, small, simple article in your sandbox.

Would you like more suggestions? Others are very welcome to list items here.

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:49, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for the advice. - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 03:54, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

So, do any of those things interest you? Are there certain subjects in life that you find interesting and would like to write about? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:57, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I've typed a single sentence fact about the current population of India in my sandbox. I've also provided a reference to support my fact. Could this be added to the article, India? - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 04:04, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • No, because the source you have is not a reliable source, it's not actual population but some random estimate from someone we don't know anything about, and also because the properly sourced content, including estimates is already included in the article.—SpacemanSpiff 04:07, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
Shaanveer, you will probably find it hard to add anything to India because it is such a well developed article. What about another article or subject? Also, please read WP:RS. But commons sense works well too. Look at the website and ask yourself how credible it is. Is it a government site? An academic site? Is it just a site put together by someone as a hobby? As yourself if you would trust the source. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:15, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • 1. Open a notepad on your computer and type =============================
  • 2. Copy paste the source material below that line.
  • 3. Above the line, write the material for the article that is based on the source below the line.

It is too late. I reblocked you three minutes ago. It is unlikely that you will be unblocked this time unless you can explain satisfactorily why you copy pasted again. Saying that you thought it was alright because you used quotes is unacceptable. Above you were advised *"... We may copy small amounts of text (a couple sentences) with proper attribution if a quote is absolutely necessary...". There was no proper attribution and it was not absolutely necessary. I told you not to copy paste and you promised not to:
  • "...If you recreate it again or add any more copy pasted, copyrighted content to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing..."
  • "...you must promise to stay away from anything that involves copypasting..."
  • "...We cannot copy and paste from other websites...."

  • "...In any case, please do not go ahead and copy paste material right now. In the future, we can show you how to quote, how much to quote, how to cite and attribute, how to identify public domain content, etc...."
After all of that, you felt it was okay to copy paste again as long as it was in quotes. Consider the block reason not for copyright violations, but rather for not being competent enough to edit here. I am sorry. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:48, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Please unblock me. I copied and quoted a text one sentence large. I understand it isn't acceptable to copy and quote a huge amount of text. But, I was informed it was okay to copy and quote text that is a couple of sentences or shorter, is acceptable. I only copied and quoted one sentence. Please unblock me! Please!

Decline reason:

Do you not understand the meaning of "with proper attribution if a quote is absolutely necessary"? Copying and pasting quotes is not done for general content building at all, but only when it is necessary for the article - for example, when the fact that a specific person said a specific thing is relevant then we would include a quote with proper attribution.

If you cannot understand and follow a simple condition that "I will unblock you with your promise that you absolutely will not copy paste anything again and will edit under my guidance or the guidance of other experienced editors" (my emphasis), I really don't feel it is safe to unblock you. Request reason:

I now understand why I was blocked in the first place. I've gained knowledge that copy pasting text from other sources is known as a very serious matter in the Wikipedia Policies and Guidelines, and I have commited it two times. Even after cautions and warnings from administrators stating that I might be permanently blocked from editing and creating articles in Wikipedia if this occurs again, I copy pasted from another source. I've clearly understood after reading the Wikipedia Policies and Guidelines that doing this will raise a copyright violation and the article will be speedy deleted. I've understood that what I did was wrong, and blocking me from editing Wikipedia articles is legible. Copying from another source and pasting it in my article I was developing in my sandbox, called Afghan Forest Digital Camouflage was definitely not legible. I apologize many times. I'm very sorry. Please accept my apology and unblock me from editing articles. I ensure you that this shall not occur again, and I will only edit under the guidance of experienced editors. Please take my apology into consideration. -Shaanveer khanna (talk) 07:37, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

A possible way forward

edit

I invite all those who spent time on this matter to give feedback on the following suggestion. Pinging:

Considering keystrokes and reads, this whole thing cost hours of resources. I would like to see Wikipedia recover that.

Before being blocked, Shaanveer agreed to edit under strict guidance. What if we all agreed -- Shaanveer too -- on a very, very limited editing area to establish trust and demonstrate competence?

Suggestions are welcome of course, but I am thinking of something rather tedious and repetetive like the following:

  1. Shaanveer goes to an article with no source.
  2. He pastes the title into Google News.
  3. He finds a major newspaper that discusses the subject.
  4. He adds the source as a single reference to the article.
  5. He removes the "unsourced" template.

That's it. After some time or a number of items done (I am thinking of over one hundred) we can take it from there and discuss other sorts of editing areas. If he cannot manage this task, or deviates, his time at Wikipedia will come to an end. If he does this well, it is a win-win situation. I, or others, would monitor his progress.

Thoughts?

In the unblock request the editor says "I've gained knowledge that copy pasting text from other sources is known as a very serious matter in the Wikipedia Policies and Guidelines, and I have commited it two times" Two times? A quick perusal of this talk page alone shows eight or nine warnings about copyright violations. Having said that, if you're happy to supervise then I have no objection to your suggestions - but mentoring/monitoring is not something I want to get involved in personally. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:51, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I definitely agree! - Shaanveer khanna (talk) 09:54, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Anna Frodesiak: As long as he does not copy-paste (emphasis added so that the user will understand) then any way forward is very much agreeable. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:25, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
I'm with Boing on this Anna Frodesiak, the editor doesn't seem to understand or realize anything and just says "I agree" to whatever anyone says and then doesn't follow it and I wonder if this time will be any different; however since this involves no actual text contributions I think it may be ok if understood as such, and if you intend to unblock and mentor and manage the situation I have no objection. —SpacemanSpiff 12:27, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
I will help monitor if a user subpage is created (so it can be watchlisted) and each article edited is listed there. --NeilN talk to me 12:47, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Anna Frodesiak: I like NeilN's suggestion of a user subpage where all articles edited could be listed. A way forward would be great, under strict supervision and sticking to non-text contributions (more suggestions: formatting, categorizing, linking, and other gnomish things) Chickadee46 (talk|contribs) (WP:MCW) 15:07, 13 July 2016 (UTC) (Also, Anna, you might want to try this out next time you have to ping a lot of people)Reply

  • If there are people willing to mentor, I'm on board as well. However, I think it needs to be made very clear that this is a last chance, and they need to heed every bit of advice that comes in from other editors. In other words, one mistake going forward could be allowed to slide, but the same mistake twice would probably result in being reblocked. —C.Fred (talk) 23:25, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Great! Thank you all for your willingness. Suggestions about working Category:Articles lacking sources? A specific subcat? A different thing all together? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:10, 14 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am thinking, at the start, he could find a simple reference for a non-living person that basically says the subject existed, and allow the no source template to be removed. News sites may not be so good if the person died a long time ago. So, for long-dead people, Shaanveer could search by adding "site:edu" after the term. That doesn't sound too hard and I could test him on it.

Tip - Finding references

edit
Finding references

If you cannot find a news references because the person is the subject and has been dead a long time, try a website that ends with ".edu" or ".gov".

Avoid websites ending with .com or .co.

You can find website endings by searching like this: "banana" site:edu (finds only .edu)

Tip - Adding a reference

edit
Adding a reference

When you click edit at an article, you will see a little picture of a white book with a red line on it. Click that and it will help you add a reference.

Refining your search

If the thing you are searching is not very specific, like a movie called "Waves", try adding the year. Search: Waves 2009

If the thing you are searching is not very specific, like a town in the United States called "Oaks", try adding the state. Search: Oaks California
