WikiProject Ghana

edit

Hi, I've noticed that you have an interest in Ghana and related topics, so I thought you might be interested in WikiProject Ghana. It is a project that aims to "better organize articles on Ghana in a spirit of cooperation. It includes within its scope all articles related to Ghana, its cities, geography, transportation, culture, history and so on." Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:11, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Amerado (rapper)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Amerado (rapper) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://profileability.com/amerado/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 23:54, 14 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))

edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Article Wan. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 03:56, 15 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Shammahamoah. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:23, 15 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Use neutral language

edit

Shammahamoah Please read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and revise what you have written about Jeremiah Obuobi. Sentences like "Jeremiah Obuobi used his product design knowledge to help push the R2Bees brand with such classic T-shirt fashion that the millions have not really encountered before" and "Jeremiah Obuobi’s contribution has been immense with so many works done and seen today" are unacceptable. Also of interest is Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch. Vexations (talk) 12:18, 15 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Kwao Lezzes Richard

edit

Hello Shammahamoah,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kwao Lezzes Richard for deletion, because it seems to be an article that was previously deleted by a consensus decision.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Articles moved to draft

edit

Hello, I recently moved three articles you created to the draft-space. These articles are now at Draft:Freda Rhymz, Draft:DJ Quest GH (DJ), Draft:Davy Sage.--SamHolt6 (talk) 01:35, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Editing with a conflict of interest

edit

@Shammahamoah: I would also like to ask if you or the company you have indicated you are connected to (FFHypeTeam) have any sort of connection to any of the subjects I listed above. You have been informed of Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline, and I have noticed that you have twice attempted to create an article about the founder of FFHypeTeam without any sort of disclosure. I have also noticed that on the Wikipedia commons you have claimed (per your contributions [1]) multiple professionally-produced images of your article subjects as your "own work". These are both hallmarks of COI or paid editing, so hopefully you will entertain my question.--SamHolt6 (talk) 03:31, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for several reasons, including persistent editing for the purpose of promotion, knowingly editing contrary to consensus, disruptive editing such as moving pages to unexpected an inappropriate places, and failure to comply with the conflict of interest guidelines and the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use (continuing to do so after being informed of the requirements). There have also been other questionable aspects of your editing, such as claiming that drafts you have created have been "reviewed" and accepted when nobody apart from you has reviewed them, and in at least some cases when another editor has explicitly indicated that he or she does not think the draft is suitable as an article.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have read through the Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline, I have learnt alot and promise not to violate any Wikipedia rule. Shammahamoah (talk) 13:04, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You still have not made the mandatory disclosure to satisfy WP:COI and WP:PAID. I'm not convinced you'll refrain from any further violations. Yamla (talk) 13:56, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Noting for the record that Shammahamoah has made similar [2] and contradictory [3] statements before. These previous warnings did not stop the editor in question from recreating Kwao Lezzes-Tyt twice (once under a new name Kwao Lezzes Richard) even though he is the head of FFHypeTeam (and thus Shammahoamoah's employer per their user page), or from editing subjects that have previously been known to be clients of FFHypeTeam. I recently compiled a good deal of information in regards to Shammahamoah's editing (in preparation for a post at the conflict of interest noticeboard), but held off to wait for them to respond to my question. If anyone wants me to provide more evidence of COI editing, ping me.--SamHolt6 (talk) 13:20, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
