I just wanted to let you know that someone has nominated for deletion this page you created. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Forward (generic name of socialist publications). Peacock (talk) 20:30, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Please comment on why you started this article.
I find it troubling that as part of its creation, you tagged The Forward, a Jewish-American publication that is translated in both Yiddish and English and has nothing to do with socialism, as a "socialist publication." Even moreso since you apparently deliberately created a duplicate disambiguation page (one already existed for Forward) in order to do so. SkepticAnonymous (talk) 21:07, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
We're workers, let's unite
Hi Soman, how are you? Happy 1 May! I've been looking through your list of creations for guidance but can't find it: I can't tell if I should translate party names or not. I made Stichting Oud Politieke Delinquenten and then discovered that National European Social Movement (an associated club of fascists) already existed with an English title. In your list I saw both translated and untranslated titles. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 22:25, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi! The hook for this article has been promoted to a Did You Know prep area, but someone raised a question about sourcing at WT:Did you know. When I had a look, I noticed there is no reference on the actual hook fact sentence - the one about publication frequency having to be reduced to 18 times a month because of paper shortages. Could you add a reference at the end of that sentence so that the hook doesn't have to be pulled out of prep? It may be in the source you cite at the end of the paragraph, or have got accidentally removed in a revision of the article, but there needs to be a ref. on the actual sentence under the rules. Yngvadottir (talk) 16:17, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- There is a reference at the end of the sentence, backing up the hook fact, see "In the same year a shortage of paper made it necessary to limit the frequency of publishing to 18 issues per month and reduce circulation to around 25,000.[1]". --Soman (talk) 19:51, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- Just added by Orlady with this edit. As I suspected, it was covered in the source you had cited at the end of the paragraph. But the ref on the particular sentence with the hook fact must have got lost somehow. All's well that ends well! Yngvadottir (talk) 19:56, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

Not successful
Soman, I have been unsuccessful while searching for information on the Spanish 1960s group Vanguardia Socialista, whose leader was Alberto Fernández. The only thing I could find is that it was one of the groups that helped to establish the FRAP. I wonder whether by any chance you know anything else about VS and its leader, because an article cannot be made with the scant available information. Thanks. Xufanc (talk) 11:21, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

- There are also mentions of a "Vanguardia Socialista Revolucionaria"; a PSOE leftist splinter-group. Perhaps it is the same group? --Soman (talk) 13:02, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- Moreover, Vanguardia Socialista was a common name for several PSOE and JSE publications. --Soman (talk) 13:02, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- http://books.google.com/books?id=_CRpAAAAMAAJ mentions Alfreo Fernández as a 'coreligionario' of Alvarez del Vayo. --Soman (talk) 13:05, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- http://pegatinas.webcindario.com/pce%20m-l%20eskema.pdf seems to imply that FELN and VS are the same? --Soman (talk) 13:13, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Tebhaga50years.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Tebhaga50years.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Just curious, any luck with the possibility of getting Soviet Revisionism and the Struggle of the PLA to Unmask It scanned? The website enverhoxha.ru is apparently willing to accept scanned PDFs and such and can compress them (without losing quality) if that's an issue. --Ismail (talk) 03:40, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
The article Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- non notable party with no coverage and also fails Wikipedia:Notability (political parties)
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ÐℬigXЯaɣ 08:40, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
