Despotate of Lovech moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Despotate of Lovech, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 07:08, 1 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Overlinking

edit

Please don't link obvious things, such as fields of study, or repeat the link on something already linked, such as a university, as you did in this edit. One of the links you added there is also inaccurate; "Oxford" refers to the University of Oxford (already mentioned), not to the city. Also, if a link comes up red, like the prizes in this case, you are stating that you consider the topic merits an article; make sure you mean that, and it's a good idea to check that the topic isn't already covered under another title (in which case, either pipe the link or create a redirect) or in a section of an article, perhaps about the institution (in which case make a piped link to the relevant section). Thanks for the effort; when I rewrote the draft, I considered lower-casing to match what Wikipedia usually does, but decided the capitals might be Ghanaian English usage. But I don't think the links were an improvement. Yngvadottir (talk) 19:48, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for reminding and informing me. Feel free to undo any unconstructive edits by me. I'll be more careful at adding links, especially if they are red. Suasufzeb 21:12, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. 0xDeadbeef 14:37, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the list article. The infobox in the article should probably be developed as a template and placed at the bottom of each article.
