Editing articles relating to intelligence is not something that particularly interests me; I'm a legal writer, I'm afraid. Ironholds (talk) 17:30, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
- I'm still not interested - this is not an area I'm particularly enthusiastic about. Ironholds (talk) 17:35, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
- No; I'm not interested. I've made that fairly clear - I have no interest in editing in relation to intelligence, be that editing the namespace, articles, talkpages, manuals of style, internal project pages or anything else. Ironholds (talk) 18:06, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
I would be willing to help. I've got my name down for WikiProject Espionage, but it seems to be only me that is keeping the WikiProject a little alive. Also, I've been suggested this WikiProject World Intelligence Task Force by a couple of users in #wikipedia-en-help and I've told them I would be interested in helping. Non-free files in your user space
Hey there Gabriele449, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Gabriele449/Current favorite subjects. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

Speedy deletion tagging
Watch out which tags you're using when you're tagging things for speedy deletion. A1 should not be used if you, as a reader, can at all figure out what the subject of the article is supposed to be, even if the article says nothing else. You'll probably find A7 applicable much more often. Cheers. lifebaka++ 00:15, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
Canada 2012 Youth Olympics
Why are you tagging this for speedy deletion? Canada has qualified the athletes listed under the criteria listed, which has sources. Intoronto1125 (talk) 00:30, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
- Oh i see what you mean. Intoronto1125 (talk) 00:34, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
- Will you remove the tag now please? Intoronto1125 (talk) 01:13, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
Gabriele, while I appreciate your applying valid maintenance templates to new articles, in this case you could have easily fixed the infobox, for instance. I encourage you to do more than tagging. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 00:46, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Assistant Secretary of the Air Force
Hello Gabriele449. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not an unambiguous copyright infringement, or there is other content to save. Thank you. Courcelles 01:38, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
The article Mateo Herrera (musician) has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 03:04, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
- Read the above message again; any article about a living person must have at least one reference. Once it has one, you can remove it. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 03:09, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
- Something went awry; I just figured out what's going on. You moved the page page, and the original user must have repasted the content at that page. I just noticed this looking at the deletion log for the now-deleted Mateo Herrera,. When I BLPPRODded it, it went to the "creator", which was you because you created it as a redirect before the original user repasted the content there. I've notified the original user. My sincere apologies. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 03:21, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Spainland
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Spainland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 03:17, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi Gabriele449. I noticed you created a Requests for Adminship page some time ago; I was wondering as to what the status of that request might be. I think it's fair to warn you that new users are rarely successful at RfA and that the Wikipedia editing community sets very high standards for editors running for adminship. That being said, I strongly urge you to read Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship, User:Davidwr/Administration is not for new users, and Wikipedia:Not now, and ask you to reconsider whether you really do wish to go through with your candidacy; please understand that you stand very little to no chance of passing RfA at this point and that you are strongly discouraged from running for adminship. If you are still intent on running for adminship with that request and are absolutely positive this is what you want, please do let me know; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete the RfA page for you in about a week or so from today. Deleting an account
It is not possible to delete user accounts, as all contributions must be assigned to some identifier; either a username or, in the case of anonymous contributions, an IP address. Editors do have a right to vanish and can have their accounts renamed and their user pages and (in some cases) user talk pages deleted. You have to request that through Wikipedia:Editor assistance/Requests. Is this for you? --Kumioko (talk) 21:44, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- No it isnt. It is for an account I recently created in the hope of getting a bot on Wikipedia but I've decided to not do that and just use good old fashion humans. I think it is better that way. Gabesta449 edits ♦ chat 21:47, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah I wouldn't bother with a bot...thats a cliqueish group. AWB is a good tool though if you don't have that. AS for the other account I wouldn't worry about it. I would recommend throwing a retired tag or something on it just so folks don't drop messages expecting results but other than that I wouldn't worry much about it. If you never did any edits you could ask the help desk I linked to above and maybe someone will delete it but its unlikely. --Kumioko (talk) 21:51, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Vandalism backlog
There is no backlog that I could locate for vandalism edits. The closest I could find is a list of possibly vandalism-related edits in the "Tagged Changes" links on the Special: Tags page. KerathFreeman (talk) 05:00, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
WikiProject Intelligence listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect WikiProject Intelligence. Since you had some involvement with the WikiProject Intelligence redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so).
You created a cross-namespace redirect from articlespace out to projectspace. This is listed as a good reason to delete it, per WP:RFD reason #6.

Golf Articles
Hi, The article was 2002 PGA Tour Qualifying School Graduates, and it's one of a number of articles for that annual tournament, such as 2010, 2009 and so on. I've been working backwards through the creation of them for a while, with 2002 my most recent one, and since they can go back more or less for as long as I can keep finding sources, my priority at the moment is just creating the basic templates. Expansion can come later! However, if you want to take the initiative and expand any or all of them in the meantime, please do! Just make sure anything you add isn't already covered on other golf articles, 2003 being the most likely one. Cheers EJBH (talk) 00:21, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Your request for rollback
Hi Gabriele449. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Mifter (talk) 04:21, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Nima1024's RfA
Hi Gabriele449. I have undone your transclusion of Nima1024's RfA because it hasn't been filled out yet, and I don't want people to start opposing because of that. Once it's ready and the candidate has answered the questions and accepted the nomination, feel free to undo my revert. Thanks, 28bytes (talk) 00:37, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
- And do make sure you have the candidate's approval first - I see you have only just asked asked over on their Talk page, but I don't see any answer yet. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 00:52, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

Scottie McClue
Thanks for your message! The reason I added the COI tag was pretty much as I explained on the article's talk page - there has been a long-term pattern of edits to the article from anonymous IP addresses in the same block, primarily by an editor (or editors) who edit this one article and nothing else (or only articles very closely associated with the subject - e.g. pages for other stations which this DJ has appeared on). The edits follow a consistent pattern of removing seemingly valid, referenced material - often with no explanation, or citing "vandalism" - and usually replacing it with far more subjective and unreferenced claims - e.g. that the DJ "is widely credited with saving the station", and so on. A look at the revision history of the article will show that this activity has been ongoing for some time. On occasion this anonymous editor has reverted changes with explanations like "unauthorised material removed" suggesting ownership issues. IPs in this range have been blocked for disruptive editing to this article in the past - again, repeatedly removing referenced material without explanation or discussion. The situation became severe enough for the article to be protected, but even now the pattern of unexplained edits continue as the same editor is now repeatedly trying to remove the COI flag without discussing the matter, or saying "satisfied that there are no COI issues" (again suggesting 'article ownership') despite no discussion and despite the fact that it is primarily their edits that are in question. The anonymous editor then went on to edit other people's comments on the article talk page to completely alter what they have said. The matter came to a head at the weekend with further edits and reverts, and the anonymous editor (who seems to be the most likely to have COI issues) suggesting of another editor that "it may be worth checking if user Hughpugh has a personal grudge against the subject". It seems clear to me that there are serious issues with COI, which other editors have also commented on, so flagging it up for proper discussion seemed like the best way to address the issue.
