Why the reference was removed.
Ah, sorry about that. The reasoning was that the reference was for the previous number. I added a new reference for the new count. --Egon Willighagen (talk) 14:39, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Template:2019–20 coronavirus outbreak data/Netherlands medical cases
Hi Thayts, are you sure the number of "unknowns" is at 0 now? The latest RIVM .ckv file with all the cases per municipality counts up to only 263 cases. How can you tell the missing one is from Brabant? I think the 'negative unknowns' from 6 and 7 March (-1 and -3) already compensated the 4 unknowns of 5 March. Edit: I noticed you changed North Holland to 23, but there are only 22 cases according the RIVM numbers. Chingon (talk) 22:20, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Chingon: The non-resident who was reported on 4 March was included in the count for North Holland. The csv only shows data on residents. I've added the note to the total. Thayts ••• 08:19, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, I now realize that the Unknown person must be the foreigner who was contained in Hoofddorp (https://www.nhnieuws.nl/nieuws/263103/schipholreiziger-in-isolatie-in-coronacontainer-bij-brandweerkazerne). Thanks for the clarification! Chingon (talk) 13:12, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
A little help
Hello there, could you perhaps help fix a tiny error in this chart? The dates with same number of cases are being shown in the last 15 days. Thanks --Shawnqual (talk) 17:19, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
Translating Module:Wd
Hi, thank you for the creation of Module:Wd. We have been using it on Norwegian wikipedia, but originally the p.claimCommands, p.generalCommands, p.flags and p.args were also translated. This now creates some maintenance problems when copying new modules that are using the Wd module. Is it possible to make the Wd module at nowiki to accept both the norwegian claim commands as well as the english original claim commands? Tholme (talk) 18:14, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Tholme: I can move them to the i18n submodule with the next update. Thayts ••• 18:27, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, but I think I maybe was unclear. What I'm meaning is that the since the commands are translated, the english ones are not working. When we then copy f. example the english Cite Q template, this now gives the error "Script error: The function "property" does not exist." Im wondering if it is possible to make the Wd module accept both
{{#invoke:wd|propertty|P1}}
and{{#invoke:wd|egenskap|P1}}
(egenskap is norwegian for property) at the same time. This so that we don't have to change the english modules that we copy to use the norwegian functions. You can see an example of one error at no:Template:Cite_Q/testtilfeller. Tholme (talk) 19:41, 28 May 2020 (UTC)- @Tholme: I understand, but that's a consequence of changing the command names I'm afraid. But I'll see what I can do. Thayts ••• 19:35, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you!, I understand. I think i found an easy way to fix this error now anyway, so not anything important. I do think it would be best if we go back to the english commands instead on nowiki, but I think this would be hard without being able to use both at least for a while when fixing the other templates calling this template. I'm not even sure there is consensus on nowiki to do the change, but if you find a solution please ping me. Thank you again for your good work with this template and your interest in helping me with the template. Tholme (talk) 20:00, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

Invoking wikidata modules inside parameters?
Whenever I place a wikidata invocation as the default value of a parameter, it seems to malfunction. E.g.:
{{#invoke:wd|property|normal+|Q55|P1082}}
-> 17,942,942{{{parameter|{{#invoke:wd|property|normal+|Q55|P1082}}}}}
-> 17,942,942
Is there something obvious I'm missing? T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 10:42, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
- Wait, never mind, it seems to only be an issue when previewing changes. The saved page behaves as expected! T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 12:37, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

Module:Wd date format
Hi, Thayts! I want to customize the way the WD module displays dates on bs.wiki. Currently it displays them as "23 mart 2021" (for 2021-03-23). I want to be able to use two types of date displays:
- "long" – which would be "23. mart 2021"
- "short" – which would be "23. 3. 2021" (note the spacing between the numbers and no zero padding)
Because the punctuation differs based on where the Wd module is called, I also want to have an additional parameter called something like "yeardot" which you could be set to "da" or "d" ("yes" or "y") which would add a dot at the end of each date format, i.e. "23. mart 2021." and "23. 3. 2021."
Here's the module sandbox. Would you be able to help me out with that? – Srđan (talk) 08:29, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Srđan: Hi! Custom formatting of the date requires a bit more coding. I can see if I can include it in the next update. With regard to the period at the end, please check out the
punc
parameter! Thayts ••• 21:51, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- By the way, you could already use the
#time
parser function to get the output of the module in a certain format, for example: {{#time:j. n. Y|{{wd|property|raw|Q6279|P569}}
→ 20. 11. 1942- For convenience, you could write this in a template. Thayts ••• 21:26, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
Addition of other time zones
In the page on this template, the table doesn't have the following time zones in the 'Supported time zones' section:
Abbreviation | Name of the time zones | UTC offset |
---|---|---|
IRST | Iran Standard Time | UTC+03:30 |
GST | Gulf Standard Time | UTC+04:00 |
AFT | Afghanistan Time | UTC+04:30 |
MVT | Maldives Time | UTC+05:00 |
IST | Indian Standard Time | UTC+05:30 |
NST | Nepal Standard Time | UTC+05:45 |
BST | Bangladesh Standard Time | UTC+06:00 |
MMT | Myanmar Standard Time | UTC+06:30 |
ICT | Indochina Time | UTC+07:00 |
Please try to include these in the table. Thank you! Excellenc1 (talk) 08:21, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

Tempates for discussion: Ref RFC
Hello Thayts, as a writer of templates and {{Wd}} specifically, could you make a few comments on Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2021_December_17#Template:Ref_RFC? {{Ref RFC}} is a template using a repository of preformatted references. I think that your knowledge on this subject may shed some light on the ongoing discussion. I would highly appreciate your contribution (regardless of what you might say). — Dandor iD (talk) 11:22, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
