Draft: Klaudia Kudelko
Hello ,I believe you reviewed my first article for creation Roberto McCausland Dieppa in 2018. Well it has been a long road I am hoping you will take a look at this current article I have written and advise me on it. I thank you in advance even if you can not review it. May i just have a regular User:Beth Wimmer page?
Dear Theroadislong, thank you for the various feedback i've been given as i work on becoming a proper Wikipedian. Last summer, i received a message from you/Wikipedia: "A tag has been placed on User:Beth Wimmer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time." Silly me, i was truly just practicing html, symbols, and i was so new here i thought this page was supposed to have basic information about me. i plan to stay in the Wikipedia family, so i would like to just have a normal User:Beth Wimmer profile/page with which to do my editing and creating. So should i start a new User.Beth Wimmer page and just leave it blank? And could we then delete the 'tainted' page where i did bad things? :) Thank you for your valuable time, i can see you are busy! Kindly, Beth Wimmer (talk) 15:25, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- It was deleted back in July last year but sure you can edit the page again it doesn't have to be blank, WP:UPGOOD tells you what you can have there. Cheers Theroadislong (talk) 15:32, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
Thank you kindly, i shall try to edit the page after reading the info you've shared with me! Beth Wimmer (talk) 15:45, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

Hello,
I was denied approve for my article and had hired a professional editor who guaranteed approval based on my sources.
What do I do now??? Syrus33 (talk) 06:36, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- You have no reliable sources? I should ask for your money back! Theroadislong (talk) 07:24, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- There were sources as I could see, but really badly formatted and vague ones that were almost impossible to verify. On the one hand we aren't supposed to look down on an article because the sources aren't included with ref tags, but what he put was very vague and impossible to check. Also the guy seems to be linked to the subject.
- I don't know who he paid to edit his article, but he seems to think it's up to random individuals to fix his paid person's failure. Rankersbo (talk) 10:05, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
Archives of Surgical Research
Thank you for your feedback regarding The Archives of Surgical Research. Please guide what additional resources would you like for its acceptance. Regards.
- Ideally a few independent ones that cover the journal in depth. See Wikipedia:JOURNALCRIT for the relevant criteria regarding Draft:Archives of Surgical Research please also note Wikipedia doesn't use external links in the body of an article. Theroadislong (talk) 13:24, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Draft: KAP Hub
Thanks for the correction on Draft:KAP Hub. I have made the necessary edits as advised. Please, I would like to know how I can proceed to publishing the Wikipage live.
Oh, duly noted. Should I include the "See also" section back? I'll remove the external links. Give me a few seconds to do this.
- The "see also" section did not appear to be particularly relevant. Theroadislong (talk) 15:04, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- You have now removed a reference but left all the external links. Theroadislong (talk) 15:14, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Greetings Theroadislong, ALL the external links (including those inline) have been removed. I would appreciate you review Draft:KAP Hub's wikipage and if it's good to go, kindly assist with publishing. Thank you. - Somtonna. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Somtonna (talk • contribs) 15:30, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
I understand your concern, but I am really confused. This is my first time creating a Wikipage and I do not understand how my research on the brand seems paid for. I love to write, hence my interest in being a Wiki contributor. Kindly advise on how I can rectify this issue (if there is really any, as I do not have any paid connection to the brand). - Somtonna.
Hello Theroadislong, I would like to know if you received my previous message? Thanks.
- If you are not being paid you still need to declare any conflict of interest you may have. Theroadislong (talk) 16:02, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Regarding your concern, I am not being directly or indirectly paid for my edits.
My bad. Will Wikipedia take down the picture themselves? I ask because I do not see the tagged picture that you are referring to from my end. Also, the pictures were gotten from the brands page.
Greetings Theroadislong, I just saw the photo you were requesting to be deleted, and I will like to bring to you awareness that the photo was gotten from the brands page. Thanks for all the help and support.
--Somtonna (talk) 17:49, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- That's correct which is why it is a copyright violation, you have uploaded a photograph to which you do NOT hold the copyright. Theroadislong (talk) 17:56, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Creating a draft for Asian Institute of Technology
Dear Editor,
I was advised to submit a draft of the update that we want to make on our institute Wikipedia page. The current contents are very old and we did a complete revision of the page. But since it was our first time editing, there were some issues and I was notified to create and submit a draft of the revised version first. I am not sure which steps I am not following correctly but I have received a message from you saying the following. Thank you for your submission, but the subject of this article already exists in Wikipedia. You can find it and improve it at Asian Institute of Technology instead. Please advise how to proceed further. Many thanks!— Preceding unsigned comment added by Sanjeetamatya (talk • contribs)
- Sanjeetamatya You should make a formal edit request(click for instructions) on the article talk page, detailing changes you feel are needed. Please understand that it is not your organization's Wikipedia "page", but a Wikipedia article about your organization. It will not say what your organization might prefer it to say, though its input is welcome. 331dot (talk) 19:44, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- As you have a conflict of interest you will need to suggest any changes on the article talk page but please do NOT expect the article to be entirely changed to your liking, the article belongs to Wikipedia not the college. Theroadislong (talk) 19:46, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Earth Beat Festival
Hello,
I'm writing to look deeper at the issues found on this draft page. Over the last 6 months I added news/press references from the most reputable publications in the country including NZ Herald and Stuff. Alongside this, independent journalism from The Spinoff and Good magazine. And, local journalism from Local Matters.
References 7,8,9 & 10 are are articles directly about the page and wouldn't be considered "passing comments".
Other references (12,13,16 & 17) are from some of the most widely respected arts & cultural publications in New Zealand.
I'm curious as to what extra this page needs to get it over the line.
Also, would it be worth trimming the article down to only the key references for entry as a stub article?
Please advise.

- Just that creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged, you would do better waiting until someone entirely unconnected with you chooses to write an article. Theroadislong (talk) 19:59, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

- (talk page watcher) @Schwartz Jeremy: I did some work on it. You will just have to wait, however, for a reviewer to review it. No one is paid here, we are all volunteers. How Can Someone Be paid on Wikipedia?
Hello Theroadislong, thank you for your apt contribution to my article except I am stunned by your comment of undisclosed paid interest, is that a common thing on Wikipedia? How do you determine a new user's status as being paid? Is Wikipedia solely for paid editors? If it is for paid editors, how does one get paid or even disclose such? I need your response please as I am yet to determine these. Meanwhile, I have added additional sources to the article Draft:GharBaar.com like you requested/advised. Thank you.
- Your edits just seemed typical of someone who was being paid which is why I asked you. If you are or expect to be paid directly or indirectly for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must declare who is paying you, who the client is, and any other relevant role or relationship. This is required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use and by Wikipedia policy. Theroadislong (talk) 20:17, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
But i am a new user on Wikipedia and no one is going to paid me for this, i love to write and read content on Wikipedia. Is it what happens when new user edit or try to write an article and Wikipedia declare that it is paid editing, This gharbaar article is not going to paid to me i have write this by my own self no one is going to paid me for this and this is my very first article on Wikipedia. So please publish my article. i shall be very thankful to you.

- Please read WP:ONEEVENT when an individual is significant for their role in a single event, it may be unclear whether an article should be written about the individual, the event or both. In considering whether to create separate articles, the degree of significance of the event itself and of the individual's role within it should both be considered. After rejecting the article multiple times, you guys think that the nature of my edit gives the impression that i have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting this topic. I would like to clarify that there is no monetary benefit of me promoting the article. I have worked with the Subject in the past and i think it is important for people to know about the person who has so much to educate about yoga, pranayam, meditation etc. In today's time when people are stressed about so much happening around, i think Yoga is something that can help them in multiple ways. Sanjeev Bhanot created Antastha Yoga series that stimulates the central nervous system, develop your inner strength and flexibility, and regenerate you by activating your lifeforce. Antastha Yoga helps you therefore mentally to manage the challenges of meditation & to understand and use the body mind connection for yourself. Physically it increases your flexibility, lowers your blood pressure, reduces stress hormones, improves your joints & muscle toning as well as digestion & sleep, regulates your cardiovascular & hormone system & increases your general energy level. There is so much that the person has contributed on the same and it is extremely disappointing that you, the reviewers on wikipedia think that it is not notable after providing multiple references for the same.
THERE IS NO MONETARY BENEFIT INVOLVED. If wikipedia meeds a monetary benefit from all the articles that gets published, that is a different matter. And if that is the case i would like to spread this information about wikipedia other digital platforms.

Draft: Mohammad B. Ghaffari
I was quite shocked and taken aback to have an immediate rejection (after five minutes!) of my draft article on Mohammad B. Ghaffari. Mr. Ghaffari is acknowledged to be one of the world's greatest experts on Iranian ta'ziyeh, and a distinguished actor and director. There were a substantial number of external references to his work by distinguished authors and publications, such as The Drama Review and The New York Times. What more is needed in order to make this article acceptable? I wrote this because, as a theater researcher myself I have collaborated with Mr. Ghaffari, and am constantly having to provide his biography and references to other researchers because of the significance of his work. I would appreciate an answer and some feedback.

I will leave it for another reviewer to take a second look, this could take up to 4 months as the AFC system is not a queue. You say that it is not possible to reference some of the content, in which case the content should be removed. Theroadislong (talk) 07:03, 2 June 2021 (UTC)

- The English Wikipedia has a much stricter criteria for inclusion, you are being paid to edit so please don't move your draft to article space, wait until it has been reviewed, you will need multiple reliable sources that cover the festival in-depth first though. hello
Concerning my article. It is not promotional in any way most people not from this part of the world don't understand what our culture means to us. Putting this article up is not paid or promotional it is to honor a traditional Nigerian king. Yes it isn't perfect yet adjustments will be added by other contributors as time goes on. We only seek to promote an African culture. I will appreciate if you consider this factors, however i cant influence your opinion in any way. Thanks hoping to get a feedback from you soon. (talk 18:55, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- I'm afraid you have misunderstood how Wikipedia works, it is not a venue for honouring or promoting people. Theroadislong (talk) 19:03, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

Wikipedia article on digital sustainability
Hi I updated the Wikipedia page on digital sustainability that you rejected about a week ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Digital_Sustainability What else may I improve that it doesn't read anymore like an essay but like an encyclopaedia article? BTW, the article is a translation of the German Wikipedia page on digital sustainability https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digitale_Nachhaltigkeit that I created 2009, more than 12 years ago. Could help me on how to connect these two pages? I tried to follow https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Interlanguage_links but I didn't understand how to do it until now. Wired Productions decline
Thank you for reviewing the wiki page. I must say based on good advice I did research and completely removed all content from the wiki page that was felt to be too promotional. The latest decline now states this submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article, which is different to previous comments that the company is probably notable as a commercial game developer. I removed a lot of information and references in trying to just keep the page clear and factual. If I create a new page, should I delete the previous one? Thank you
- Your draft Draft:Wired Productions has just threes sentences and then an enormous list of their productions, it is just an advertisement still but also gives no indication of why they are notable? Pleas remember to sign your posts with 4 tildes. Theroadislong (talk) 17:50, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
Dear Thanks for your comment on the draft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Sandeep_Kumar_Mishra for the neutrality. Please check the list of notable works which are reliable, secondary and independent. The main thing about them is that these sources have Wikipedia pages published about them. That makes it clear that the sources are notable. Please also check photos and first paragraph.I have made necessary adjustments in lines for neutrality with Wikipedia standard. Kindly review at your most convenient time out of your tight schedule. Thanks.--Workhardalltime (talk) 00:04, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
The article on notability ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people)) says that "People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published, secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject.People who meet the basic criteria may be considered notable without meeting the additional criteria " I have added a list of notable sources. So all other links are additional.--Workhardalltime (talk) 08:47, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

Looking for clarification why my article was declined.
Hello Theroadislong,
I saw that you had added a comment to my recently submitted (and declined) article on the Cliffs of FUndy UNESCO Global Geopark (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Fundy_Geopark?markasread=220024589&markasreadwiki=enwiki). I am hoping to get specifics on where you need sources. Our organization has been working with many researchers and professionals and we were hoping a Wikipedia article would give the average reader an overview of what we cover at our organization. Not many people understand what a geopark is. Much of the messaging in this article comes directly from our internal documents and approved messaging on our website. I am writing to you in hopes that you could point out specific areas that you need clarification on, and help me find a way to bring the article up to your standards.
Thanks so much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.176.57.55 (talk) 19:03, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- You say "a Wikipedia article would give the average reader an overview of what we cover at our organization" Wikipedia is NOT for merely providing information. A Wikipedia article about anorganisation must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about them, showing how it meets Wikipedia's special definition of a notable business. Wikipedia has no interest in what you want to say about it only in what others unaffiliated with the business choose to say about it.
Question about rejection.
Greetings. I just got your message about why my submission was declined, which was about the sources not giving significant coverage, but I'm a bit confused. The article is about the founder of a recognized media platform, so one of the citations was from the channel's website. Two others were from recognized Caribbean media houses and both articles were about the subject and one citation was from the website of an established awards body that lists the subject as an awardee. I've been over the guidelines and did this submission going back and forth with a tutorial. I actually eliminated 90% of the info I have on the subject because I couldn't find info to support. Would it be possible for you to give me a little more insight on why the sources don't provide enough coverage? QDpedia (talk) 13:44, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- This [1] is his company website so is a primary source which cannot be used to establish notability. This [2] is a press release about a non notable award. Other content in the draft is unsourced. Theroadislong (talk) 14:18, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
OK, thanks a lot. Will make the changes. QDpedia (talk) 14:56, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
Disclose my employer
Hi,
You suggested I do this before making any more edits. No problem but I don't know where or how? The links just take me to a general place?
'Mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Dara at ERS2021, and the template Paid can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form:
If you could give me directions on how to do this I'll do it asap.
Also, when I was previusly advised about financial stake and edits, I countered that - the articles I edited had no relation to anything I do - I edited the articles Wiki suggested - I didn't seek articles out.
Best,
Dara
- You need to fill in the templates and place them on your user page. Theroadislong (talk) 14:12, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
- Dara at ERS2021 your claim that 'the articles I edited had no relation to anything I do' is patently not correct as you created this Draft:ERS Genomics Limited
Daniel Leyte Vidal wikipedia page draft
Hello!
I hope all is well and this message finds u well! I would to ask what a CV is and how can I fix the draft submission. Thank you in advance !
- CV = a curriculum vitae a short written description of your education, qualifications, previous jobs, and sometimes also your personal interests, that you send to an employer when you are trying to get a job, Wikipedia articles are much more than that. The article should be limited to a summary of what independent reliable sources have said about him. If there are no sources then we don’t have an article. Explanation to consider for the unfair decline of Zenit Art (gallery)
Greetings @Theroadislong, I would like to firstly thank you for the quick reply to the review phase.
Perhaps, it might have been me who has done wrong without knowing fairly well the principles of how it works. I thought perchance it was enough for the beginning, afterward, I would step by step add the following pieces. If there might be any chance of considering the other materials, I would speedily send them.
Best Megi.

In order to demonstrate notability, you need to provide multiple references to in-depth articles written about the gallery in unrelated, independent journals, magazines, books or online. Your draft was mostly copied and pasted from their own website and was totally inappropriate. Theroadislong (talk) 17:38, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
Question about Reputable Sources
Hi, which sources on my wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Matt_Mahan) are not reputable? I wish to remove those sources and add more reputable ones in its place, but am unsure which to remove. Thank you
- I didn't say that any sources were not reputable, but the references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. Theroadislong (talk) 19:33, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
Hi Theoradislong! Please help in understanding disclosing conflict of interest
Hi,
This is with regards to the discussion we were doing on a draft page draft:Butler Leather Goods Factory
Like I said, I am trying to create pages in and around my locality and Butler Leather are one of them who are in business from past decade and also wanting to write articles for those who deserves online presence. It would be of great help if you can help me to get started with my mission of helping NGO, NPO and other SMEs who would need PR and this I am going to do at no cost and if and when I would have to bill them for contributing on behalf of them, how do I have to disclose it (Please help me on this).
Looking forward to your help! Mellontikos (talk) 08:06, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is NOT a venue for "helping NGO, NPO and other SMEs who would need PR" Please stop. Theroadislong (talk) 08:09, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Theroadislong: I respect Wikipedia's policy and I was actually meaning to create articles like listed here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_non-governmental_organisations_in_India
It would be great if you can remove the content violation on the draft as I have declared on my user page. Thank you! Mellontikos (talk) 09:10, 11 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi! I saw you edited the article I'm working on to say it may have been created in return for undisclosed payments. Is the person I'm working for not the employer? No one hired us to write the article, it's just something we decided to do.JorodHistory (talk) 14:09, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- JorodHistory, I saw this question at the Teahouse. The employer is the person or company you are working for, the client is the person who has hired them. Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#Paid editors says that if the employer and client are the same, you can leave the client parameter empty. TSventon (talk) 14:55, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
Continuing discussion about Equator pure nature
Hello Theroadislong. I hope you're well. I refer to this discussion: [[3]]
Sorry that I'm getting familiar with the Wikipedia environtment and etiquettes. I didn't want to edit your talk board, so i rather started a new discussion.
I'm a friend to a worker of the company, helping out on my free time. I don't know Cmwunderlich, but my friend is [| Natthida], who works in this company. I'm a bit more savvy than she is. I'm otherwise not related in any way.
I told her to stop trying to push articles before we learn and understand more about Wikipedia and speak to you.
She tried publishing [| Equator pure nature] which had several sources. Now, of course there is always a commercial connotation to the sources, because it's a private company. But they are notable, specially on a national level (it's a company in Thailand). They are the first to use own techniques and quality standards. Featured in CNBC news and exporting to other countries. I think that's notable and deserves to be in Wikipedia like many other companies are.
I thank you for your time reading this, and hope we can at least learn something from this. Please let me know how can we do it right.
Bests Marcosinsitus (talk) 16:29, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
- The topic is clearly NOT notable per this deletion discussion Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Equator Pure Nature, I suggest you find other websites to promote your friends business Wikipedia is not the place for that. Theroadislong (talk) 16:42, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
Draft: Einar Bergström - Reedited, I think the article is now good enough for publication.
Please, I do not know how (what commands are) to re-examine the article for publication.
I got a robot that tells me that the draft can be scrapped, because it has not been edited for a long time. I found myself stuck in October and needed a break to get new own views on my editing of the article. I found another (type of) main reference to base the middle story on and I wrote about it.
You wrote:
Comment: zero sources so zero chance of being accepted. This [1] is NOT an acceptable source it is a primary document and cannot be used to establish any notability. Theroadislong (talk) 21:55, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
What I have done: Einar Bergström employment certificate at Saab by Tore Gullstrand mentioned in the AFC commentary, is removed.
The Saab section text is re-edited with reference to third party reference by Inge Gustafsson retired pilot, J35 Draken Memories preserved, The Road to the Dragon (part 6, Laban Bergström = Einar Bergström ) reference by Bergström who handles the Saab 35 Dragon's aerodynamics in practical work. It referred to amendments of the internal air ducts physically between test flight sessions. (Non other than the responsible aerodynamic engineer do such amendments as described in such a vessel? And that they were made in such a way is also of aeronotical history readers interest, we are talking about a special topic here.) This must fulfill the English Wikipedia demands and forms.
The fame is in the products and the work team were military secret under the openly famous Erik Bratt in these secret military projects. The development of the design of the internal air ducts is of international importance and is interesting in aviation history, especially how it was created and by whom.
I think this section fits the English Wikipedia policy now.
The second half of Swedish development projects concerning hovercraft, was largely with a civilian market in mind, not military secrets and has always been well documented in both Swedish newspapers and technical magazines. That the government of Sweden funded hovercraft development in 30 years is interesting reading.
So far, my goal has been to document the process and the people around these events and make articles in Swedish, English and German of what is missing, before it alla goes into the fog of oblivion.
- The team under Tore Gullstrand Erik Bratt by Bertil Dillner, Hermann Behrbohm, Einar Bergström and Olof Ljungström
- Other important people in Saab design in the 1950s and 60s such as Frid Wänström, Sten Luthander and Lars Brising
Einar Bergström's article in English, which is referred to in other articles, is currently missing.
I think the article is now good enough for publication. --Zzalpha (talk) 04:06, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- This draft is VERY poorly sourced and seems to rely on your own personal knowledge. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia summarizes information that appears in independent reliable sources with significant coverage showing how a person meets Wikipedia's special definition of notability.
Wikipedia has essentially no interest in anything you or I want to say about anything. It is only interested in what reliable sources have published about a subject, Sources need to be in depth and significant coverage not mere mentions. Theroadislong (talk) 06:42, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

Why it takes ages in EN wiki before to approve an article which already exist in several other languages?
The road has really been made longer than expected indeed. FR and AR versions of Wiki look like more efficient when it come to reviewing and approving new contents. Shall you please approve the submission of Draft:Hartmut_Löwen? What is the typical time scale for approving a submission in general in EN wiki? - Drafts are reviewed in no particular order, your draft has zero independent reliable sources so I was hoping you might add some. Theroadislong (talk) 09:35, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
Well. Aren't the references 6, 7 and 8 independent sources?
- Yes, but 6 and 7 are only listings, there is no in-depth significant coverage? English Wikipedia has stricter guidelines on inclusion so having an article in the French Wikipedia is irrelevant. Theroadislong (talk) 14:39, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
i am afraid, an in-depth significant coverage does not exist. From their scientific achievements, and notably the large amount of high quality output, it is clear that the subject has its weight. Thanks for your feedback. The topic is, I think, notable because the original German page is in the category of 'Excellent' German pages (although, having translated it, I am not sure I agree). In addition, it explains why today, one third of the area of Berlin is forest. However, it probably could do with more sources, in particular, some English ones. Loris Bennett (talk) 21:15, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
- The German Wikipedia has very different guidelines, so having an article there is no guarantee of having one here. Yes more sources are required. Theroadislong (talk) 21:18, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
- So what would be a minimum number of sources and how many would have to be English rather than German? Loris Bennett (talk) 20:28, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- Sources do not have to be in English. Your draft has enormous sections with no sourcing at all, ALL content needs to be sourced. Theroadislong (talk) 20:32, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the information. The original German version from 2005, which was apparently considered "exzellent", had no explicit citations at all, just a list of "further reading", from which most of the information seems to have been gleaned. Would such a page ever have been acceptable on the English Wikipedia? I guess I need to work out which bits of the text are taken from which of the books mentioned. I thought it would be reasonably easy just to translate an article that I was moderately interested in. I hadn't expected things to get so complicated. Sigh. My page Draft:Duchess (chess variant) has the same source as Fortress Chess, an accepted page. Not just the same number of sources, the main source is the same page of the same book.
