Captain Tsubasa (Tecmo Game series)
Can you please join me in editing the Captain Tsubasa (Tecmo) game articles, maybe we could also create an article based on it... It's awesome to see a Tsubasa fan, can I tell you a secret? If my chance comes I'll create Captain Tsubasa 6, retaining gameplay of Captain Tsubasa 2. So please help out, I'm also learning to speak Japanese and be the first foreign person to take a Japanese protagonist voice. I don't know about you? But I heavily prefer the Tecmo Game series of Captain Tsubasa than the manga. Please get this message and make your reply once you do. Ultimate SpiderKid OUT! THWIP THWIP! A new article of the Tecmo game series, I'm replaying the games again and also still working on my fan translation rom hack for Captain Tsubasa 3, you can check fandom for information of the Tecmo games. I'm researching Japanese wikis of the series It's kinda difficult, I can't even read Kanji accept 翼 , 若林, 日向 and 岬. Though things are still fine TheSpiderKid (talk) 18:48, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

Hi, Tintor2! Sure no problem, I will take a look at the article, Bungo Stray Dogs is one of my favorites anime, so I'm glad I'm able to help. If you have any doubts about the series just ask me :) Debiit (talk) 16:49, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
Hi, Tintor2! Just to let you know, I've finished the first pass of my copy edit of Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple. Sorry that I was delayed for a while. I'll try to finish it tomorrow and provide some notes. – Reidgreg (talk) 01:41, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
@Reidgreg: No problem. You still did it ridiculously fast so take some rest.Tintor2 (talk) 01:44, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
- I finished the copy edit. Some notes:
- Anime can refer to film and television (and other media). In the context of the anime film, referring to the TV series as "the anime" may be unclear. I've tried to clarify this in the lead and body.
- Thanks.
- In the plot section, where the users are fighting their abilities, is it normal for their "abilities" to manifest physically or is this particular to the movie?
- It is particular to this movie as caused by Shibusawa's fog which happens to be his ability.
- When Atsushi opens the white door in his mind, does this lead to a flashback where he regains memories? Perhaps this could be mentioned as a flashback, and something like "in the present" to indicate when the flashback ends.
- Reworded.
- FYI, the line
The staff of the movie visited the wife of the real Shibusawa, Sumiko Shibusawa, to let her confirm the artwork before using it.
appeared directly in two of the sources, so I paraphased that to avoid copyvio.
- Thanks.
- I reorganized the section Promotion and release a bit to group material by topic rather than chronologically. I felt that it reads a little smoother this way, but feel free to change it back if you prefer.
- Thanks.
- The Production section might also benefit from a little reorganization, but I couldn't verify the sources so I didn't want to break up the cited material. What I'm thinking is maybe one paragraph for conception and script development, one section for Bones work and the visuals, and one paragraph for the various characterizations.
- Thanks.
The movie earned 78,002,000 yen (about US$740,000) to rank #7 in its first official weekend. It has a total of 86,688,808 yen (about US$820,900).
The first set of figures is for Saturday–Sunday opening, but I don't understand what the second set of figures is for. Presumably it goes partway into that week, but it'd unclear how far. I realize this is taken from the source which doesn't seem to be any more specific (perhaps from the date of publication?). If this can't be clarified, the second set of figures could probably be removed.- I'd initially removed the italics from the titles of websites but reinstated italics after reviewing the style guideline MOS:MAJORWORK
Website titles may or may not be italicized depending on the type of site and what kind of content it features. Online magazines, newspapers, and news sites with original content should generally be italicized (Salon or HuffPost).
- Is there anything that can be said about the feature having influenced production of the third season of the anime, or is that something that was always going to happen? I understand that with a lot of anime adaptions of manga, the anime will run for so many episodes and then take a hiatus when it catches up with the manga, resuming when the manga has created enough story to produce another batch of episodes.
- That's a good one. For now, I think season 3 wasn't influenced by the movie although it appears the writers wants it taken canonically due to a person writing the manga. about it.
- Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. – Reidgreg (talk) 13:12, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

Atsushi Nakajima GAN
Hello again. Just wanted to apologize for failing the above GAN. I just think another copy-edit would be helpful to make it really ready for a GAN; I have contacted an editor who said they would be willing to look through it. Good luck with it, and I hope you nominate it again in the future. Aoba47 (talk) 19:42, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Aoba47: No problem but I wonder if the copyedit was poor in general considering the in-universe info wasn't that big in contrast to other articles I have edited. Also, why was the Uemura picture removed? I think it would have been useful at least in the creation section considering there Uemura talks a lot about his work as Atsushi.Tintor2 (talk) 20:08, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- Looking back on the article, I do not think the in-universe portions are the problem. I have compared it to other high quality articles on fictional characters, and I was most likely over-thinking/being overly critical on that part. I think the prose does need improvement though, and when a copy-edit does take place, feel free to let me know and I can review it again (and most likely pass it this time around). I do not feel comfortable talking badly on other editors, but there were a few spots that I was surprised was not caught during a c/e (like misspelling orphanage for instance). I was under the impressive that you removed the Uemura picture; on the GAN page, you said this: "Removed the image. I think the issues are too much". I think it would fit the article, but I would just make some adjustments to the image caption. Aoba47 (talk) 21:18, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I thought you meant the Nakajima image. The Uemura image was removed due to a copyright violation. It is no longer available anywhere on Wikipedia. Aoba47 (talk) 21:27, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Aoba47: No prob. A copyeditor who often assisted me is apparently giving it a look.Tintor2 (talk) 21:53, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. Let me know how the copy-edit goes. Aoba47 (talk) 21:54, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Aoba47: By the way, about the zoo promotion, the Japanese wikipedia has an image of the white tiger mentioned but I don't know if it is good to use.
- I am not sure if it is necessary, but I will leave that up to you. If you can find a way to incorporate it into the article, then I would have no objections to it. Aoba47 (talk) 22:07, 25 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi, I don't know how to send you a notification on the same thread that's why I'm responding to you here. Reception cleanup
I've been noticing a lot of articles have cleanup issues for Reception, and am concerned that if things aren't improved we could see a lot of articles redirected if someone caught onto this. Would you like to help fix this issue if you have any time? Myself, I'm going to put creating new articles on the backburner until this is addressed. - Bryn (talk) (contributions) 21:04, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Abryn: What articles? I guess some SNK articles I worked in need to be merged like Joe Higashi since they are quite small. However, something I've been told about reception sections is that each paragraph must have different subjects similar to a formal letter. For example, Kyo Kusanagi has one paragraph dedicated to his popularity, then about his gameplay, then about his reboot design, etc. I think I tried something similar with Shirou Emiya because the makers of the character made multiple portrayals so his critical reception is divided in media. My latest GA, Atsushi Nakajima (Bungo Stray Dogs) is also divided first in characterization, then notable relationships and then his role in a movie.Tintor2 (talk) 21:18, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- Oh I'm not really approaching this with merging articles. I mean I'm not opposed if it needs to happen, but I'd like to try and scan through character articles (all of them) and remove unreliable sources, paraphrase overquoting, and if need be, find more sources to avoid having to do a merge. I'm working on the male A characters, and I'm seeing a lot of yikes. - Bryn (talk) (contributions) 21:20, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Abryn: I'll see if I can somehow help. Didn't you point this in the project? Maybe the ones needing this clean up first are GAs in order to avoid losing that quality.Tintor2 (talk) 21:29, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

Lady (Devil May Cry)
Sorry, but I moved “In the Western version of Devil May Cry 5, there is a scene in which Lady appears naked. The scene covered areas of her body although a patch was released in order to uncensore that area. [1] Push Square considered the censorship as one of most pointless cases of it due to how obvious was the edit. [2]” from the Lady article and repurposed it as “In the Western version of Devil May Cry 5, there is a scene in which Trish appears naked. The scene covered areas of her body, although a patch was later released in North America order to uncensor that scene, with Europe still affected. [1] Push Square considered the censorship as one of the most pointless cases of it due to how obvious the edit was. [2]“ in the Trish article, since both articles cited were discussing Trish being censored on Western PS4, not Lady being censored. If you think that I made my edit in error and think that your edits should be reinstated, feel free to revert mine, I’m not here to cause any edit wars, I just want to help out. 2600:6C4A:7D00:1DD6:F529:15CD:AE4F:A52B (talk) 22:05, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

Terry Bogard
Hello:
The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Terry Bogard has been completed.
In this sentence in the Popularity section: "In late 2018, Terry and other characters created by SNK appeared as part of a collaboration between other companies in Harajuku Japan involving new merchandising. Terry's image was produced by Falcoon.[99]" I changed "will appear" in the original text to "appeared", assuming this did happen. The citation will need to be updated to support this.
In the same section this appears: "For the special endings in The King of Fighters '97, three video game publications, Gamest, Famitsu and Neo Geo Freak, had to create a team composed of three characters from the game so that they would be featured in an image after passing the arcade mode." I do not really understand what "featured in an image after passing the arcade mode" means. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Jin Kazama

Happy Holidays
Thanks again for all of your help these past few years. It was very much appreciated. Wishing you and all your loved ones a happy and healthy holiday season. And remember to take the time to do what you want to do in 2020. Over the course of human history, only a relatively minuscule amount of people will ever be able to say they lived through 2020, so make it a good one! ;) Homeostasis07 (talk/contributions) 21:25, 24 December 2019 (UTC)

Request to move comment on Psycho Pass article
Hello. Can you explain why the cited statement re: the reception of PP3 could not be included in the lead while the statements re: PP1 and PP2 are allowed to remain without any citations at all? I would like to learn the difference. I have moved the statement and citation to the Reception segment of the article as suggested. Thank you in advance for clarifying. Um
Don’t mean to bother you, but their is other anime that have episodes split into 2 11-minute segments.
Why you do not need it for Gin Tama? It was completely fine to specify how many episode segments are in a show. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 15:48, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
Judgment
Hi Tintor. I am not disputing whether the world is open. I am disputing that the information is not sourced in the article. Just following proper procedures. If any of the references listed that are reliable state such, please add the info. If not, it should not be in the category. Thank you!Dohvahkiin (talk) 17:19, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

@Diannaa: Thanks for checking. I added info but with more paraphrase.Tintor2 (talk) 17:08, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, much better. The only overlap in the new version is the quotation. Thank you for taking the time to do that.— Diannaa (talk) 17:11, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
