Manga is not only made in Japan
That's what I meant to say here. Manga is also created in other countries. Hence, I made that edit to clarify the origin of Rurouni Kenshin. That makes sense right? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 06:43, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Dont the ones from other countries have other names like manhwua from China?Tintor2 (talk) 13:22, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Re:Naruto video games
Fire away. Just be aware that the new template that is used is {{VGtitle}}. Relevant models you can look at are List of Castlevania titles and List of Harvest Moon titles. Best of luck. sephiroth bcr (converse) 21:35, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Cool. You should move the title from List of King of Fighters games to List of King of Fighters video games though, as it's the more encyclopedic title. sephiroth bcr (converse) 01:28, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm...a video game character list for a series is typically oriented differently than an anime or manga character list, and it's probably better to organize the list by the games people were introduced in. And yeah, a copy-edit is probably necessary. WP:PRV is a good place to go for that. As for the Naruto video game list, yeah, one of my big problems while making it was that I found zero sources on the card games. I can only recommend that you keep on plugging away, as I have no idea where sources may be found on them. Cheers, sephiroth bcr (converse) 20:44, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Re:Sagara Sanosuke
Seven FL nominations actually. And if I have time, I'll give Sagara Sanosuke a look, but I'd recommend you search for another copy-editor. User:Guyinblack25 is a good one, and you can see a list of people willing to do copy-editing at WP:PRV. Cheers, —sephiroth bcr (converse) 01:14, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- It does need some help, but on second thought, PRV is probably better for prospective FAs rather than GAs. Ask User:Collectonian, and if that fails, I'll do it in the next day or so. —sephiroth bcr (converse) 01:33, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, it does not some copy-editing. Meh, I'll start on it in a bit. —sephiroth bcr (converse) 01:40, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Since Tessai, a former Soul Reaper, is listed with the Urahara Shop, it makes since for Yoruichi and Urahara to do the same. It also reduces the size of the already large Soul Reaper list. ~SnapperTo 02:55, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

I reviewed your article Sagara Sanosuke for GA. I am sorry to inform you that I had to fail it due to prose issues primarily and also the use of four copyrighted images. You can read my review at Talk:Sagara Sanosuke/GA2. Please do not give up on the article. Re: Reborn! character lists
I have no objections to there being no need for the separate Vongola and Millefiore family articles, but I do have to stress that, even with trimming, the main characters list would become 70-90 kilobytes long, especially once other information like reception and merchandise are added (most notably the references, which will significantly add to its length). I propose that it be split into the main list and an antagonist list (similar to the Naruto list), the latter of which would contain the Kokuyo, Varia, and Millefiore - groups that consist of characters who have sufficient enough information (even when trimmed down), and can thus support their own article (with out-of-universe information, like reception and merchandise, included of course, though I still can't find creation information; don't have the character book anymore either). Oh, and despite their current allegiance, the former two are included in there as per WP:WAF. DarkAngel █▀▀007▄▄█ 07:58, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Sorry to take so long to reply! I was off wiki for a few days. You did the right thing by renominating it again. Good luck! —Mattisse (Talk) 01:26, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Lingya.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Lingya.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 03:20, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Saint Seiya logo
Hi! I noticed this [1] - I don't see why this logo should be removed. This logo differs heavily from the Japanese logo, so it has a fair use reason. I would only remove a logo if it has no fair use justification. WhisperToMe (talk) 03:33, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Re: Reborn! creation
Well, I can't find the interview in general, but I have a rough estimation of when that took place - around October 2007. I tried to rifle through the netradio site but I couldn't find that interview, but from the link you provided, the only thing I could pick out about creation was about a pairing which her assistants helped in the screentone, but which pair of characters isn't revealed in the interview. I did find other info when I followed more links to different parts of the interview though - how she had fun writing/drawing Longchamp; how the manga is primarily aimed towards girls and she tends to cater to them in the series; she tries to put in enough action for the boys, and how male fanmail provides her with the best feedback concerning fights; how she got the idea of the mafia-theme and Dying Will bullet; Tsuna and Gokudera's relationship. This is mostly creation/development for the series as a whole though. Still, a short character creation section can probably be made now though, but referencing is going to be difficult since the original interview is hard to find and Wikipedia likes to avoid links to blogs.
I could only get a rough Google translation of the second link since it was in French, but if it is reliable, it'd be pretty useful. DarkAngel 007 05:40, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I was never really one to nominate articles (I think I have rejection issues ;] ), but if you think it's good enough, you can go ahead and do so. And I can't really translate something directly from kanji to English so great, but I'll try to find someone who can. Meanwhile, I'm going to start working on the character list article. Lead of List of Dragon Ball chapters
Are you sure this was a good idea? I kinda liked the other one better. Now the lead isn't as consistent as many other chapter lists like List of YuYu Hakusho chapters, List of Hellsing chapters, List of Saint Seiya chapters and List of Rurouni Kenshin chapters. Re #25
Towards the end of chapter 181 there's a gathering of the main cast and some leading Soul Reapers. The scene in the manga is fairly poor, but the anime equivalent (episode 63?) might provide a better group shot. If that doesn't work your best bet would be to try anime opening/closing/omake segments, but I have no idea which if any would be useful. If you can't find anything there then I'm out of good ideas. Bleach's cast is so large that a decent group shot is hard to come by, and instead a bunch of different group shots need to be used. Group shots of just the main cast, however, have plenty of options, so I can get one of those if you want me to. ~SnapperTo 23:31, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- So I've got two options. One of the main cast + some secondary characters from a Bleach calendar. A second that has basically every character in the series up through chapter 50. Pick your pleasure. ~SnapperTo 18:57, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- I wouldn't worry about it. List of Naruto characters was 68 kb before it was reffed, and the Soul Reaper list is only 62 kb. It should end up being smaller. Just make sure to use refs that cover as much material as possible. ~SnapperTo 20:25, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- The first image is clearer, so of the two I'd pick that one. If you can find a slightly bigger and/or higher quality version of this, however, that would be the best choice (even if the art style is a bit off). I'd scan my own copy if I had a scanner, but since I don't... ~SnapperTo 04:48, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
- I was actually planning to use wikia:naruto:Itachi Uchiha as a base. I figure the best way to refresh my memory about Itachi would be to sift through the excruciating detail of a wikia. But I will be taking you up on your offer by copying and pasting your version's Other media and Reception sections since I don't like doing those. Do you know of any conception information on Itachi? ~SnapperTo 21:47, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- He did, but depending on how long it takes him to do that it would be nice to have some Reception information in the meantime (especially since that seems to be the only out-of-universe information on Itachi). Your version might even utilize sources he hasn't come across yet. ~SnapperTo 02:58, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
RE:Short copyedit needed
Hey, I went through about half of the article and left comments at Talk:Fullmetal Alchemist#Copy edit suggestions. Not sure when I'll finish it up, hopefully by this weekend. I'm a bit split among various tasks right now. (Guyinblack25 talk 22:24, 5 November 2008 (UTC))
- You're welcome and I hope it helps.
- I'm not as into anime as I use to be. I've been more interested in video games for some time now. Plus, my free time has been more focused on Wikipedia than anything else. My friend had been bugging me to watch it, and after finding out how interesting it is I'm going to have to. (Guyinblack25 talk 22:45, 10 November 2008 (UTC))
- Glad to hear about Iori. A lot of these fighter character articles are in terrible shape, and seeing some get to GA is a welcome sight. (Guyinblack25 talk 17:52, 13 November 2008 (UTC))
RE:Gantz Chapters comments
Yeah, those was definitely good feedback. The only thing I would have issue with is the need to explain tankobon. A simple wikilink would solve that. Otherwise all of those other suggestions are pretty accurate and relatively easy to fix. I can't get to it right now, but I think they need to be addressed. Thanks! --–m.f (t • c) 17:29, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey there, I saw the new status for FL on Gantz. That's great! Thanks for the award, and you deserve just as much credit as I do for the initial summary submissions. Thanks again. I'll start plugging away at FullMetal now... Cheers! ---–m.f (t • c) 00:49, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Soul Reaper release info inquiry
Is there any reason in particular why you omitted the zanpakuto release command info from the Soul Reaper page? I've always perceived that info to 'come in pairs' with the zanpakuto info, so to speak, and I'm saddened that you deleted it. The page probably needs some trimming and cleaning, but why the release commands? Are they counted as trivia or something? Akke Bandvagn (talk) 17:41, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- I see, I suppose it makes sense then. I'm not involved in the main article at all thus I didn't know about this. Should I delete the release info from the hollow article too when I reorganize it? Akke Bandvagn (talk) 18:21, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Sano
These edits look wrong. His signature move, does it begin with "Futai" or "Futae"? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 06:04, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- Its Futae, but are the other changes better grammatically?Tintor2 (talk) 15:32, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- Aside from 'Sozo' needing to be changed to 'Sōzō', it looks better. However I'm not sure if that's what the refs say. Could you confirm the statement? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 17:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Naruto Uzumaki reception
Do you have any idea where I could find more reception information for the Naruto Uzumaki article? I would be happy to wade through data and text, I just do not know where to look, as it seems that we have already covered most of the legitimately recognized press sources who review anime and their characters... So, I figured it would be worth a shot to ask people, as the reception section of the article needs the most help. Thanks and cheers! Scapler (talk) 01:22, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have gone through the entire article, doing basic copyediting, but mostly for grammar and flow. Can you give me an example of one of these quotes, and the common explanations you are talking about. Scapler (talk) 20:51, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Chapter summaries
Well, I'm pretty sure the summaries are grammatically correct, but I'm guessing the issue is mostly due to the first few volume summaries. You were right that they're pretty hard to make into a coherent paragraph due to the randomness of the storyline. I could try to make them more coherent, but I've been a bit busy lately, so my bad if it takes a while. -.- And you were a great help with the characters' list; thanks for letting me use your Sandbox too. ^_^ DarkAngel 007 08:18, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Re: List Of Naruto Games - Narutimate Accel
The reason the notes were included on the Narutimate Accel game is to help stop the spread of false release dates for the game, since a large percentage of fans believed the anonymous unsourced lies. By putting it on the page instead of in the talk, people will learn the truth. It was sourced, just not foot-noted. Don't enable the spread of lies through Wikipedia.
- Hidden messages don't correct the people who have already read the lies in the article.
- Every few days anonymous edits add in false release dates for the game, these are from people who unwittingly believe a lie that was injected into the wiki article two years ago. The lie was continued with a practical joke, someone put in a different release date that is the same date as the next lunar eclipse, which if you know the etymology of the word "lunatic" you know that it's a word for "crazy person" that is derived from the moon. Anyway - long story short, I've spent weeks just deleting the false release date information on the pages and it just kept coming back. Since I added in the bit about "rumors and myths" surrounding false release dates, there haven't been nearly as many people adding in the fake information again. Furthermore, the overzealous fans are starting to realize that they need to chill out and look for viable sources instead of just posting up rumors as though they are fact. TigerC10 (talk) 00:38, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please read the paragraph above. That entire thing is a reason (a rather valid reason at that) - why you think I haven't given you one is beyond me. I think you SEVERELY underestimate the knowledge of anons - if it's a hidden message they WILL ignore it. It needs to be visible. TigerC10 (talk) 01:00, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

RE:Little question
To be honest, I wouldn't even list that many characters. It seems like overkill and gameguide-ish content. I think a sentence mentioning some of the more prominent and brand new characters would do the trick. Of course, some die-hard fans may disagree. Anyway, if a limited amount of characters are mentioned in a single sentence, then only that sentence requires a citation. Hope that helps. (Guyinblack25 talk 18:47, 2 December 2008 (UTC))
Two days ago, I made some edits to the article. In your opinion, how is the layout on those cited statements? I didn't quite know where to add it, but Collectonian felt it should have gone somewhere in the third paragraph. And what's a suitable size for that Dragon World image? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 18:46, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- The easiest way a smaller size is by saving the image before clicking for full resolution. However, it could lose quality. Maybe a sketch by Toriyama describing production could help (though I dont know any). The line... "In an interview conducted in 2007 with Shonen Jump, Toriyama revealed that he does not consider what is to occur in proceeding chapters of his stories."...seems to talk more about Toriyama himself rather than Dragon Ball. It should be more suitable in his own page.Tintor2 (talk) 21:11, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- I got that bit of info from Akira Toriyama, then modified it. Are you saying it's better off without it? Also, I just wanted to know how much px for the image. I'm not that good at uploading. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 23:27, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- I mean that it talks more about Toriyama than Dragon Ball. It could talk about Dr. Slump or any other series. I dont know too much about px either.Tintor2 (talk) 00:21, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Gantz Characters:
I understand that my edits are amateurish, but as I mentioned before, much of the information is outdated and simply wrong. There is a difference between the information I added that was amateurish and unnecessarily detailed and the information that was new and relevant to the plot or the character listed. The Host Samurai and the aliens are obviously not on good terms, but only appear to be at first. They attack the Host Samurai and Kill Bill. Additionally, Reika's plan to re revive Kurenai is certainly of enough note to be placed with the info about one of their characters. Nishi does provide significant information, which starts the new arc. These are not excessive details, they are important plot facts, new, but important nonetheless. If you compare the two documents it should be easily distinguishable what is an amateurish and unnecessary detail and what is an important plot point just from memory of recent events in the manga. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lazydragonboy (talk • contribs) 05:46, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

I agree with the direction you want to go (the "Plot overview" section would become an "Appearances" section, the current plot summary would become "Anime and manga" and the "Appearances in other media" would be simply "Other media"), but it needs a bit better incorporation. For instance, when covering the background information, we could say "In chapters X-Y, Sasuke's childhood is..." and go from there. We've been trying to compress the plot a bit too much for a nine-year series, but this is something we can take on a slow, case-to-case basis. As for now, let's wait until the character articles all pass GA and List of Naruto antagonists goes to FL (so we complete our GT) and then we can talk about restructuring the characters (because I'm fairly sure at that point we'll start to have discussions on which characters could feasibly support articles due to the reception that seems to multiply day-by-day). — sephiroth bcr (converse) 00:32, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

good work on the summary's for this article! I never got around to doing them as I was reading it. Can I assume you've been doing it as you read it? Dandy Sephy (talk) 23:49, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Zarbon and Dodoria
Hello Tintor2. Please listen carefully. Please do not remove or merge or summarize the Zarbon and Dodoria sections. There are a slew of lesser characters (more than half the characters on the page). They are major characters in their sagas and it was already wrong that they were merged and didn't get their own separate pages like Frieza. But to summarize the major characters into one tiny section would be like committing a sin, generally speaking. They deserve to have their small sections at the least. I will relay this message to anyone else who was involved with the mergers. Zarbon (talk) 02:22, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you mean by "that's the TV series." The image in question was a photograph taken by Richard E. Aaron as an official publicity photo for the movie. It was incorrectly posted as a DVD grab, which is why it was removed. sixtynine • spill it • 22:22, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Long time no see man! Hey, I made a few adjustments to Ed's article but was reluctant to wiki-link "Philosopher's Stone". Here's why:
- Should it be like [[Philosopher's stone|Philosopher's Stone]], avoiding the redirect?
- or
- Do you know of something else?
- What's on your mind friend? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 00:04, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
I think the link should be removed.Tintor2 (talk) 02:04, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Very well, it shall remain unlinked. BTW, do you know of some manga characters that could be listed here? I've been adding a flurry of them, but now I'm sorta out of ideas. What manga characters have you been coming across lately? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 05:34, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, I remembered Gaara, and have just added him to the list, but can't come up with anyone else. Who am I missing? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 20:58, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, Shikamaru would go great too. Tintor, why haven't you been answering? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 01:24, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry I forgot. Im not very good with some categories (especially since most manga/anime characters have superpowers), so it should better asking somebody like collectian or goodraise.Tintor2 (talk) 01:27, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- That's okay. Then I just have a favour to ask: can you give me a citation to verify Shikamaru's shadow jutsu? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 01:49, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Good job with that hidden message (hopefully it will stop this silliness of editing an article without reading it, but the over-eager may never rest). Anyway, what would you think if I nominated the page for GA? Scapler (talk) 21:00, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- I am considering nominating Naruto Uzumaki for GA status. Comparing it to the GAs Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Kakashi Hatake, Orochimaru (Naruto), Shikamaru Nara, Rock Lee, and Gaara, I believe it is ready. What are your thoughts on a possible nomination? Copy-pasting
I know SNK Wikia's under the GNU but could you please paraphrase the things you copy from it? That would make me think that your actions are a little more sincere. Plus the wording I use isn't 100% okay for Wikipedia so try to make it more relevant according to this place's standards: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Plagiarism. Thanks. RE:Character images
There's been some debate over this in the past, and I don't think everyone has come to an agreement. The general practice by most editors is to have the most current image. Some editors prefer in-game images that show the graphical appearance, while others prefer official character artwork.
I'm a little indifferent to which is the absolute best way, but I believe any image which will help the reader easily identify the character is the best thing to keep in mind. Generally, a more current image is better drawn and/or uses better graphics, and aids in making the image easily recognizable.
Just keep in mind that you're doing all this for a general reader who may have never seen the character. For example, this version of Ryu is easy to recognize, but some of the more current artwork for Street Fighter IV, while cool looking, can be difficult for people to distinguish features. Hope that helps. (Guyinblack25 talk 21:10, 28 January 2009 (UTC))

RE: Terry Bogard
When I'm having a hard time finding sources in my normal places, I start searching through the sites listed on Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Sources. Not sure what else to tell you. :-\
As far as pictures goes, I'd go with this one. I think it shows his outfit the best and is the style most of the artwork has been done it. That's just me though. I'll see if I can give the article a look over sometime; probably won't be soon though. (Guyinblack25 talk 00:21, 1 March 2009 (UTC))
- In regard to writing reception, if you have enough content to split it into sections, then yes. Some examples to check out are Wii Sports#Critical response and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time#Reception. Separate paragraphs are not always needed and content doesn't have to be divided too much; like gameplay can be one section and presentation (graphics and audio) can be another. I've found it helps generalize the section better instead of being a bunch reviews from different places. Another way is to split it up by praise and criticism, like in Super Mario 64 DS#Critical response. That section also has a paragraph about pre-release reception.
- Basically, look at what the common statements in reviews and try to group them accordingly. Deception is looking really good, keep up the good work. (Guyinblack25 talk 16:25, 3 March 2009 (UTC))
- Most editors try to limit the number of review scores in the review table. The template has a lot in there to give editors options, but too many clutters the article. What you currently have looks good. Mortal Kombat: Deception has really improved. Keep up the good work. (Guyinblack25 talk 16:14, 12 March 2009 (UTC))
- WP:VG/DATE says you've organized it properly, but you can limit it the first system release if it gets too long. (Guyinblack25 talk 14:13, 16 March 2009 (UTC))
- Per WP:VG/NAME, an official title should be used first and then an English title if it is in a foreign language. However, since the the official title looks to be in English, and other territories use that name as well, it stands to reason that KOF: MI2 is the best choice because it's official, English, and common. That's just me though, I'm sure others may disagree. :-p (Guyinblack25 talk 15:24, 22 March 2009 (UTC))

Well, a game review could do the job. But if it's a common, non-controversial piece of information, then it would probably be fine without. (Guyinblack25 talk 03:47, 27 March 2009 (UTC))

D.Gray-man characters and the English voice actors
I'm sorry to bother you, but there is a discussion going on at Talk:List of D.Gray-man characters regarding the cast of English language anime adaption and whether they should be added to the article. Your comments would appreciated. ~Itzjustdrama C ? 23:51, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: Joe Higashi
This seems to define Joe the best, despite the Clooney face. Also quick bit, be careful on what sources you use for reception in some of the articles: some sites look legit, but when you hit the GA process you might find an editor or two wanting to jump at you over its reliability (I never understood why reliability is such a big thing for reception, but it's one of those policies @_@).
By the way, you're a friggin godsend for the SNK articles, just thought you should know that.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 02:09, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- I wouldn't use GayGamer. I'm not seeing any proof of editorial handling, nor an "about us" page which would mention staff credentials and whatnot. If memory serves the most they had come up before was a brief article in EGM on the "20 gayest characters", which revolved around appearance of said characters and was more or less a farce. Best to look for other sources if possible.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 05:15, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Re:The King of Fighters '94
I apologize, but I also feel that such a suggestion is not particularly warranted:
"Incivility consists of personal attacks, rudeness, and aggressive behaviours that disrupt the project and lead to unproductive stress and conflict. Editors are human, capable of mistakes, so a few, minor, isolated incidents of incivility are not in themselves a concern. A pattern of incivility is disruptive and unacceptable, and may result in blocks if it rises to the level of harassment or egregious personal attacks. A single act of incivility can also cross the line if it is severe enough: for instance, extreme verbal abuse or profanity directed at another contributor, or a threat against another person can all result in blocks without consideration of a pattern.
This policy is not a weapon to use against other contributors. To insist that an editor be sanctioned for an isolated, minor offense, or to treat constructive criticism as an attack, is itself disruptive, and may result in warnings or even blocks if repeated."
The use of the word "fucking" for simply the sake of using the word, directed at absolutely no one, does not necessarily make for an uncivil editor, though I'm not very surprised you thought that. I used the word to express my distaste for the almost inane amount of typos and errors found within the articles for The King of Fighters '94, The King of Fighters '95, and the main The King of Fighters article; I would have to check nearly 20 articles sometime soon to see if they shared a similar situation. I do not attribute any of these errors to you, though I could go through the edit history to check. Elm-39 - T/C/N 12:05, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- There I'm afraid we cannot agree. However, I'm happy that we can agree on the subject at hand, and will try to assist in some part over the next few weeks. Elm-39 - T/C/N 12:07, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Temporary injunction and your use of my monobook script
Hi Tintor2,
I have to let you know on your talk page that ArbCom has announced a temporary injunction against the "mass delinking of dates". You can still delink dates on an occasional basis; however, you may wish to be cautious and use the script only for its non-date functions until the issue is resolved by an RFC poll. You may wish to express your view on autoformatting and date linking in the RFC at: Wikipedia:Date_formatting_and_linking_poll.
