Image Tagging Image:philothinker.jpg

edit

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:philothinker.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 23:19, 29 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Project Reset .Org

edit

A tag has been placed on Project Reset .Org requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Cheers! Removing Speedy at Project Reset .Org

edit

Hi there TwoKnives! I saw that you added a {{hangon}} tag to a page which you created, Project Reset .Org. This is good, but in the process you removed the tag requesting deletion under CSD A7. Even though there is a hangon on the page, the deletion template should remain there. But don't worry, this doesn't mean that the page is going to get deleted. Make sure you edit the talk page of the page nominated for deletion, located at Talk:Project Reset .Org, administrators will look at your reason why the page should remain before they decide what to do. I moved your article to your userspace

edit

Hi there. Rather than deleting your article, I've moved it to your userspace so that you can work on it there.

Have a look at WP:RS, WP:V to see the sort of information that an article needs to have to stay on Wikipedia. If you have any questions, drop me a message.

You can find your article at TwoKnives/Project Reset.Org. GedUK  21:22, 16 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Whoops -- the user who kindly moved it to your userspace made a little error in naming it. Look for the material at User:TwoKnives/Project Reset.Org. Accounting4Taste:talk 21:28, 16 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, sorry about that! Brainfail. GedUK  08:33, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
