Tekken 6's organization

I recently expanded the article Tekken 6 to provide more creation and reception sources. Could you give it a look? I don't know if some parts need to be better arranged and you are experienced with fighting games articles.Tintor2 (talk) 23:35, 22 June 2019 (UTC)

So Tekken 6's copyedit was finished. In case you are interested, I recently expanded the reception section of another fighting game, The King of Fighters XIV. The article was copyedited in the past but I added a bit of more content to the reception to give more coverage. Sadly, I couldn't find too much in regards to the game's PC port. In case you are interested, feel free to edit it. I suddenly got the interest to edit XIV since it was on sale in the PlayStation Store so I wondered if it could be improved while playing it. KOF XI

Hi. I recently nominated The King of Fighters XI to GA. Feel free to edit or review it. Thankfully it's isn't that big unlike other articles from the franchise. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:07, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for the edits. The article became GA :D Take some credit too. If you are interested I'm also planning to nominate The King of Fighters XIV. I am more into XIV now because I didn't play XII and I'm not into the different versions of XIII too well. Feel free to edit the article if you are interested or tag something. I remember than it was once copyedited but in the past months I expanded some sections. It's quite bigger than XI but it will not be expanded in the future as SNK already confirmed they are working into XV rather than more DLC. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 20:33, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
Hi. I recently made a clean up in Tekken character Jin Kazama and wondered if you could give it a look. I kinda feel really selfish since I worked in articles you are more into. Then again, you prefer Mortal Kombat, right? I do remember working Liu Kang and Shaolin Monks the most some time ago. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 16:31, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
Yeah, actually I don't think I've ever played a KOF game in my life, or edited any of its articles before you asked me to. It's alright anyway. I'll take a look at it when I get the time. --uKER (talk) 20:08, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
I forgot. When I first started editing Wikipedia, the article I worked first was Mortal Kombat: Deception. Game journalists interviewed Midway a lot but sadly some video interviews were removed by them so some sources might need a revise there.Tintor2 (talk) 20:58, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
Are you like trying to get me stuff to do or something? --uKER (talk) 03:49, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
Nah, I just was remembering the stuff I did. Thought you were a big Mortal Kombat fan so I mentioned that. I have played most Mortal Kombat games until the reboot but couldn't play X and 11 due to console issues.Tintor2 (talk) 16:19, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
I do like MK but I skipped over the ones from the console-only era (5-8) and Deception is among those. --uKER (talk) 16:21, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
I see. I do remember enjoying a lot of Shaolin Monks though considering it could be played with another person. However, the final boss took me hours.Tintor2 (talk) 16:31, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
Although to be honest now I feel interested in making the Tekken protagonists into GAs. We already got Lars some years ago while Kazuya Mishima was the next some time ago. Now, I kinda feel motivated with Jin and in the possible future Heihachi. I kinda felt like that when I kinda made turned Devil May Cry characters into GAs (except Nero because there wasn't too much coverage by that time) or D.Gray-man (a manga whose author published a lot of commentaries involving the cast). Allen Walker somehow became one of my two FAs. Guess my recent edits to the Tekken cast has to do with recently getting a copy of Tekken 7 and playing some more.Tintor2 (talk) 17:42, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

Battletoads Help

As you know, I’ve suggested adding a mention of the official Rare/Tradewest-authorized strategy guide to the Battletoads (video game) article. @Spintendo: has asked if you’d be kind enough to weigh in again concerning whether the secondary sources I’ve listed are sufficient. Our lengthy discussion can be viewed in the [Strategy Guide Addition section] of Talk. Thanks in advance. GameMaven (talk) 18:17, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

Request for checking prose

After making .hack//G.U. GA, I plan to make The King of Fighters XIV too. If possible, could you revise the prose? It's quite smaller than the Tekken articles especially the plot section. In regards to Mortal Kombat articles, I just tried expanding stuff from Liu Kang and Cage's reception sections. I haven't got the chance to play MK11 yet though.Tintor2 (talk) 23:33, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tesla Cybertruck, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Spy Who Loved Me. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Re: Move of Colin McRae Rally

Hi, just letting you know I have requested a reversion of your move. Articles are only to be moved to a (series) disambiguation if there is another WP:PRIMARYTOPIC of the same name, otherwise they should not be moved. Thank you.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:38, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Zxcvbnm, I've reverted the move. Thanks for bringing up this at the RMTThe Aafī (talk) 12:54, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

A little courtesy goes a long way

Hi Uker, I am a happy Wiki user, and have been donating to Wiki. I thought of also contributing to Wiki through editing, and this week made my first edit, on the page Anthropic Principles. You removed it, saying it was "good faith, totally unremarkable". The removal is ok, I get your point. But "totally unremarkable"? Cold. Was it too much effort to add a thank you?

A little courtesy goes a long way. A lack of it too. I will refrain from future donations and editing efforts for Wiki, and focus my efforts elsewhere. Take care.

Harmenbreedeveld (talk) 21:05, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

I do apologize if you took it personally. It was not meant to be taken that way. That said, I don't think you should base your sentiment towards Wikipedia on your experience with a single user like me. Again, my apologies. --uKER (talk) 15:06, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Maybe a little research before disrespecting the dead.

Hello friend. I thought I had to add my comment here. First of all, thank you for your effort on Doom Eternal article. But here is the thing you are arrogant about I think. Just because you don't know who "Nature" is who is lead and throat singer of Tengger Cavalry who died tragically at such a young age, that doesn't mean you can simply disrespect his memory and undo my edit with "Who?". You have Wikipedia under your hand, right? You could bother clicking on his name and seeing who is he and what did he do. He recorded all the throat singing parts in Doom Eternal OST.

Please sign your posts, whoever you are! Deb (talk) 17:09, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Possessive "'s" on Wikipedia

Hello. Per MOS:POSS, For the possessive of singular nouns, including proper names and words ending in s, add 's. The exception are abstract nouns ending with an /s/ sound, when followed by sake, not all nouns ending with an /s/ sound. I kindly ask you to revert your edit. Throast (talk | contribs) 21:34, 18 April 2022 (UTC)

Well, I'm reverting but taking this to discussion. That's a pretty random rule they put there. Who came up with that nonsense? --uKER (talk) 02:19, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
It's safe to assume that everything written at MOS has previously been discussed and agreed upon by a majority of editors. Since there is no hard-and-fast rule, style guides handle the possessive s differently. Wikipedia's MOS is certainly grammatically correct. If I had to guess, I'd say that the exception was made because screen readers would have trouble pronouncing abstract nouns ending with an /s/ sound, when followed by sake, which is an accessibility issue. Diner Dash Adventures moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Diner Dash Adventures, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
