Thanks, & Question: how to reply to reviewers' comments?
Thank you for welcoming me to Wikipedia editing. I am the director of the Public Art in Public Places Project and our mission is to promote the widespread enjoyment of public art. At this point we encompass Southern California and Hawaii, and we hope to enhance (and correct if necessary) public art data on Wikipedia for the public benefit. I have made a number of edits in the last 2 weeks to public art information and have received useful feedback from some reviewers, which I need to reply to. I am not clear how to do this: if I "edit" the section containing the reviewer message and add a reply, will the reply update reach the reviewer? Apologies for my ignorance, but hopefully my learning curve will be steep. Thanks in advance, K. M. Williamson, Director, Public Art in Public Places Project — Preceding unsigned comment added by K. M. Williamson (talk • contribs) 18:39, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- You reply to messages by clicking the section's edit button, adding a colon to indent one level and then typing your reply. Subsequent replies should use additional colons to indent additional levels. I have some words of caution for you. Your project's mission may be to "promote the widespread enjoyment of public art", but it is inappropriate to use Wikipedia to further that purpose - Wikipedia must not be used for promotion, see WP:SPAM. In addition, you refer to "we" - if this indicates that you are sharing your account, that is not permitted - for licensing purposes accounts must only be used by one individual. I hope this helps.--ukexpat (talk) 19:33, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

Chris McDaniel
Hi, Trying to understand why my posting of a "legislative work" list continues to be deleted on the McDaniel page. All of these are a matter of record and are properly cited. I've even gone to a neutral source and had them check my language to be sure it wasn't misleading. Does this simply hinge on me being the one posting it? Please advise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sippydog (talk • contribs) 13:25, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
- It's a combination of your COI, your edit warring and your attempts to turn the article into a campaigning tool. See the advice I have left on your talk page.--ukexpat (talk) 13:28, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

Arthur G. Bedeian
Arthur G. Bediean has been trying to have the Wikipedia Page about him removed. He did not authorize this page and it contains incorrect information. Ahonoora
Hello Ukexpat,
Such a long time ago we had contact. Now as I do some research for a friend, I see that the colour of Ahonoora is Brown in Wikipedia, maybe you can change it into chestnut? Allthough the horse died a long time ago, his influence is still very much alive. Thank you very much in advance, Margreet van den Brink (Netherlands).Erins isle (talk) 12:41, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

Help Desk: Newspaper articles
An editor has requested that you revisit the "Newspaper articles" discussion (found here: [1]) on the Help Desk board and provide a follow-up comment. Thank you. Vuzor (talk) 00:18, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
No, you are requesting it via this attempt at canvassing, Vuzor. -- Winkelvi ● ✉ ✓ 00:52, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
- Winkelvi, you stated you believed Ukexpat did not know the article was a BLP and therefore had an "invalid" opinion (see: [2]). I offered on that page to have him revisit the article to make sure what was said was exactly as he intended. I provided a very neutral statement here to inform him of this. That's all. No accusations of anything here are appropriate. Let's leave Ukexpat's talk page alone now. Vuzor (talk) 05:12, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to May 21 may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
- Roman Emperors Diocletian and Maximian appoint Galerius as [Caesar (title)|Caesar]] to Diocletian, beginning the period of four rulers known as the Tetrarchy.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 14:04, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

I don't know how Wikipedia works that well but I took those pictures myself, there should be no copyright infringement. Hopefully you can help me get the picture back on the page with your knowhow. I noticed that you had done some Request Edits and was wondering if you would be available to take a look at my proposed changes to an article where I have a COI here It's nothing urgent, just cleaning up a lot of original research, poor sources and general cruft and making a more concise, properly-sourced text. Though I do see a potential BLP problem with information about how much money individual employees earn. Anyways, let me know either way if you do or don't have an interest in taking a look. I realize the request is rather complex to look at, but it's also not practical to suggest changes individually. CorporateM (Talk) 01:07, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
Publishing the DailyFX article
Hello, I was wondering if you keep help guide me so that I may get my article (DailyFX) published. Its being considered for deletion but I followed the prompts to properly cite, etc but now the editors are finding trouble with the wording. I took out the words to help. Do you know what else I should be doing so that I can get the article published?
Thanks in advance for your time!

- I would let the deletion discussion run its course. In my view, none of the reasons cited for deletion are valid while the article is still a draft. --ukexpat (talk) 13:28, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
