DYK for Farrell's Bar & Grill

[edit]

On 21 September 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Farrell's Bar & Grill, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Farrell's Bar & Grill in Brooklyn continued serving beer in its large containers after a city ban forced it to swap from styrofoam to paper and plastic? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Farrell's Bar & Grill. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Farrell's Bar & Grill), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Fun by Coldplay

[edit]

I love that you have been creating articles for non-singles. Can I suggest that you work on "Fun" as well? That page has been needing edits but I never had the time. GustavoCza (talk · edits) 11:03, 8 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sure! I'll take a look today. It will be nice to take a break from the endless drama of the Coldplay main article lol Veggiegalaxy (talk) 12:22, 8 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
OK, honestly, I probably would not have written this as a standalone article with the sourcing that currently exists. There's just not enough coverage of the song itself! But let me do some research and see what I can contribute, at least enough to hopefully get rid of the citations needed template at the top. Veggiegalaxy (talk) 13:23, 8 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

DYK nomination

[edit]

Hello! I created the List of highest-grossing concert series at a single venue today and I think it would be cool to have a DYK feature about it, but I don't really know anything about the process. Could you do it for me? Maybe something like "...that Coldplay's ten Wembley shows were the highest-grossing concert series in history". Thanks in advance! GustavoCza (talkcontribs) 01:09, 3 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hey Gustavo! Sorry again for the delay. I could do it for you but then you wouldn't get credit for it!! Fortunately it's super easy to do. These are the rules, and there's an easy nomination template right here! Then you just wait for it to be reviewed. If you have questions lmk! Veggiegalaxy (talk) 15:03, 3 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hello! I nominated the article and it got approved. Do I have to do anything else now or just wait? GustavoCza (talkcontribs) 19:36, 15 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yay congratulations!! Now you can just wait. It might take like, a month or more. That's what usually happens for me. Hopefully you saw my Politik DYK this week!! Veggiegalaxy (talk) 00:43, 16 November 2025 (UTC) Veggiegalaxy (talk) 00:43, 16 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Koto Kawaguchi when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Films

[edit]

Just for future reference, we never categorize films for which individual film festivals they may have screened at, not even if they technically premiered there. There are sometimes (but not always) categories for films that won awards at specific film festivals, but we don't categorize a film festival's entire program as "[insert specific film festival here] films" at all. Bearcat (talk) 16:43, 31 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Bearcat Hey thanks for the heads up! I noticed later on it was redlinked and meant to remove it – but I definitely missed a few. Appreciate you calling this out and making the changes, noted for the future! Happy New Year! Veggiegalaxy (talk) 17:04, 31 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: The Disciple (2026 film) (January 9)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by RangersRus was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of films). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Coldplay project

[edit]

Hello! I'm planning to build a list of Coldplay records and achievements. Could you give me a Sandbox feedback? I mean, it obviously looks very bad right now, but I wanted to ask someone's opinion. Also, where do you think I should put the Guinness World Records? Does the content on the iTunes section overlap with Cultural impact of Coldplay#British export too much? Thank you for your time. GustavoCza (talkcontribs) 04:51, 27 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hey @GustavoCza! I love this idea. I'm currently at Sundance Film Festival volunteering so it may be a while before I'm able to give this the attention it deserves. But thanks for bringing it to my attention! Excited to take a look. Veggiegalaxy (talk) 21:30, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi @GustavoCza, so sorry for the delay here. I've taken a look. Admittedly I don't know much about lists like this (I think you know more than me!) but this looks amazing.
I would probably put Guinness World Records in miscellaneous? AFAIK (I could be wrong) it's not something that would be taken as seriously as the other concrete records and achievements solidified in the other sections and maybe it's more a bit like trivia. no idea though.
Re: iTunes I don't personally think so, since this is intended to be the comprehensive list and so as such not we're not so concerned about overlap. Does that make sense?
Let me know what you think. Veggiegalaxy (talk) 14:14, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
It does make sense! Thank you for the feedback. GustavoCza (talkcontribs) 22:12, 18 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

archive.today shitshow

Hello Veggie! I hope you are doing well. I would like to ask for help with replacing deprecated references on Coldplay articles, specially the song and album ones, since those are more outside my realm. All you have to do is replace archive.today links with web.archive.org pages, in accordance to Wikipedia:archive.today guidance. Here's an example of how things appear to me. If it's not the same for you, make sure to reach out. Thanks! GustavoCza (talkcontribs) 20:21, 8 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Veggiegalaxy, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Arcticocean  19:42, 29 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much! Veggiegalaxy (talk) 19:55, 29 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Articles for Creation backlog drive

[edit]

Hello Veggiegalaxy:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 5000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 19 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
