June 2012 (False warning)
Your recent editing history at Pakistan Zindabad shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. lTopGunl (talk) 17:51, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Well I don't see any actual edit warring or violation of the 3RR. What I see is that you don't feel good that Vibhijain is editing your pages, and you're on the cusp of owning your articles, which ultimately will lead to you being blocked, not Vibhi. Leave that, whatever he edits, let him edit. Why are you so tensed about it? Have some Coca-Cola and rest. Forget about it. Thanks, Dipankan (Have a chat?) 07:25, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
- @TopGun Consider this as my last warning, if you will continue making such baseless allegations, I will be forced to take this issue to an administrator. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 07:28, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
- [1] [2] [3]. Though I'm not bound to, but here's a courtesy drop of diffs which are taken as hard evidence. It is editwar whether your edits involve the same content or different... you should not amend contributions of other editors more than three times in a day (actually more than once if objected per WP:BRD, but three is the brightline). Do not start replying with reactionary templates when you are cautioned for something, you'll only be looking for trouble other wise... hope you see now that my warning was not baseless. You can still have the last word if you want but I don't generally go into debates after warning a person, we'll see next when you actually violate 3RR. --lTopGunl (talk) 21:36, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

- Try not barging into discussions calling a warning baseless without checking out article history, read WP:CIVIL. Pointing out my block log which has nothing to do with this is WP:BATTLE, which wikipedia is not for. Same goes for others saying this. --lTopGunl (talk) 21:36, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

- What nonsense is that TopGun? In my first edit, I removed that WP:SPS, then you reverted me saying that discuss it first, however you should have discussed that because I already left a note on the talk page about the removal. After that an another user added some, sources. After that I just did some NPOV work on the section. Hope that clarifies it. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 05:51, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
- Relax Vibhi, TopGun himself got a Warning for Edit Warring last night by an admin Also, he is fond of linking WP:BURDEN when he himself fails to follow it during his reverts. Clear case of preaching without following. --DℬigXray 06:22, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
- Take a deep breath and read the waring (and remember, such warnings are not threats rather to help you or bring to your notice). I'm not looking for more users to dispute with just for the sake of it, I have too many who are doing that... I've never known you before and there's no reason to be so blunt about everything. Whether or not you discuss along, reverting repeatedly is considered editwarring - always follow WP:BRD. Please don't pay attention to DBigXray's above comment as that will lead you to trouble, why? See WP:NOTTHEM (most unblocks get declined with this reason). And yeah, don't worry about the articles, if you really weren't following me it is ok, but you'd know better how it (atleast) looked like. I see you went for an RFA, you might pass that... you need to work on your wording... just note the difference between mine and yours (calling others' comments nonesense etc - even if they might be) even though I'm as much in conflict. See you around. --lTopGunl (talk) 04:37, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Needing Wiki contribution assistance!
Greetings Vibhijain,
I am looking for an experienced Wikipedian to contribute an article for our band Mr. Meeble. I have checked and we meet the Wikipedia "notability" guidelines for a band. We have a very basic Wikipedia article written already, but I know that someone like yourself may be able to point out our formatting errors and critical omissions. You can hear our music and see our videos here:

The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hindustan Zindabad. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Anti-Pakistan sentiment
Your addition of a WP:NEO to this article needs reverting, it was removed after extensive discussion The term is a neologism and has no place in any article on wiki. Darkness Shines (talk) 07:41, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry. I saw this on Pro-Pakistan sentiment and thought it can be here too. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 07:43, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

- You removed what you just added while adding something else in here, [4].. I think that was warranted, when there's reliable source, atleast a bare mention is ok to have in the article can't be counted as a neologism as the article is not named on that or even about the "neologism" in question rather on the larger topic mentioning this as a given name. So it doe not contradict with WP:NEO - also that term seems to be quite old. Thanks. --lTopGunl (talk) 08:08, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

GOCE July 2012 Copy Edit Drive
Invitation from the Guild of Copy Editors
The Guild of Copy Editors invites you to participate in their July 2012 Backlog elimination drive, a month-long effort to reduce the size of the copy edit backlog. The drive begins on July 1 at 00:00 (UTC) and ends on July 31 at 23:59 (UTC). Our goals are to eliminate the articles tagged in April, May and June 2011 from the queue and to complete all requests placed before the end of June. Barnstars will be awarded to anyone who copy edits more than 4,000 words, and special awards will be given to the top 6 in the following categories: "Number of articles", "Number of words", "Number of articles of over 5,000 words", "Number of articles tagged in April–June 2011", and "Longest article". We hope to see you there! – Your drive coordinators: Dank, Diannaa and Stfg. To discontinue receiving GOCE newsletters, please remove your name from our mailing list. I've completed the close on this AFD - when you non-admin close a debate, don't forget to remove the AFD tag and add the old AFD template to the talk page. One note I just saw, though - even if the nominator withdraws the nomination, the debate can't close if there are good faith editors who also recommended delete. In this case, consensus was clearly in favor of keeping the article, but it's not always that clear cut - so do be careful. All in all, though, it's a good close. Thank you for helping out! question
It required only a brief amount of work to address your concern with Khan v. Bush. Are you sure this is the way {{afd}} should be usedʔ
You said a month or so ago that you were considering applying to be one of the wikipedia`s administrators. Are you still considering putting your name forward to serve as an administrator somedayʔ Are you still interested in good faith advice on thisʔ
Cheers! Geo Swan (talk) 17:46, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- It may have required a "brief amount of work", but the thing is I am unfamiliar with the topic. Also if most of the listed topics are covered in one article, why does not the article redirects to that page. I am unfamiliar with the topic, and due to the red links, I can't make out much about it. And as of adminship, as stated on my editor review, I may go for another RfA, but that is not something I am thinking much about at this time. Regards, :) ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 06:36, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Above, you say you are unfamiliar with the topic. But in this comment you asserted the redlinks were unlikely to ever be turned into full articles. If you are unfamiliar with the topic, can I ask you the basis for your assertionʔ Geo Swan (talk) 12:01, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Do one needs to be familiar with the topic if he has to make out whether the topic is notable or not? With something like ""Mohabat Khan v. Bush, Civil Action No. 05-cv-1010", I really can't make anything about it. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 13:21, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

WikiCup 2012 June newsletter
Apologies for the lateness of this letter; our usual bot wasn't working. We are now entering round 4, our semi-finals, and have our final 16. A score of 243 was required to reach this round; significantly more than 2011's 76 points, and only a little behind 2010's 250 points. By comparison, last year, 150 points in round 4 secured a place in the final; in 2010, 430 were needed. Commiserations to Pool A's igordebraga (submissions), who scored 242 points, missing out on a place in the round by a whisker. However, congratulations to Pool B's Grapple X (submissions), whose television articles have brought him another round victory. Pool A's Cwmhiraeth (submissions) came second overall, with an impressive list of biological did you knows, good articles and featured articles. Third overall was Pool D's Muboshgu (submissions), with a long list of contibutions, mostly relating to baseball. Of course, with the points resetting every round, the playing field has been levelled. The most successful Pool was Pool D, which saw seven into the final round. Pool B saw four, C saw three and Pool A saw only the two round leaders.
A quick note about other competitions taking place on Wikipedia which may be of interest. There are 13 days remaining in the June-July GAN backlog elimination drive, but it is not too late to take part. August will also see the return of The Core Contest- a one month long competition first run in 2007. While the WikiCup awards points for audited content on any subject, The Core Contest about is raw article improvement, focussing heavily on the most important articles on Wikipedia. As ever, if you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send.
