Speedy deletion nomination of ALPHAWOLVES

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ALPHAWOLVES requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 02:34, 5 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with ALPHAWOLVES. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. reddogsix (talk) 03:07, 5 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Using the preview feature allows you to see what your changes are going to do to the article before you actually save the page. When you're working with tables or templates, it usually a good idea to preview. Please see Help:Show_preview for more information. Orycteropus Hyacintho (talk) 06:20, 10 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Still not signing posts

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at User talk:FlightTime, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 21:06, 10 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm TJRC. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, North Olmsted, Ohio, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, Westlake, Ohio, Lakewood, Ohio and dozens of other articles in the same region. TJRC (talk) 00:08, 30 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Parma Heights, Ohio, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 18:43, 31 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Bay Village, Ohio. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. John from Idegon (talk) 18:45, 31 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Rocky River, Ohio. TJRC (talk) 23:50, 31 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Vitopavlovivit, I strongly suggest you slow down and limit your edits to one or two articles at a time, instead of updating dozens at once; you need to learn from your mistakes when they're corrected. Do not just re-insert the same mistakes after they've been reverted and you've been warned.. You're doing it wrong, and you're ticking off a lot of editors who have to come in and mop up after you. It looks like you mean well, but you don't know what you're doing. Slow down and learn. If you keep damaging articles, even if it's out of negligence rather than malicious intent, you're going to end up getting blocked. TJRC (talk) 00:02, 1 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Billy's donuts

edit

Hello Vitopavlovivit,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Billy's donuts for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello, I'm The Grand Delusion. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Boomerang (TV network), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The Grand Delusion(Send a message) 17:35, 22 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of programs broadcast by Cartoon Network, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Also, please take the time to learn proper capitalization, and how to create tables using Wikicode. Your edit was poorly formatted and clashed with the rest of the article. Proposed deletion of Uncle Bill's

edit

The article Uncle Bill's has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability. It has mentions in a very niche local book and in an on-line Encyclopaedia about Cleveland. These sources are probably reliable but both claim to be comprehensive and set out to name everything, notable and otherwise about Cleveland. Simply being named in these sources doesn't make for notability. Fails WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Velella  Velella Talk   00:04, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
