Hello @Wheezythewave:! So you are saying "The source attached to Jeon Yeo-been and Shim Dal-gi mentioned special appearance." Then what about this source which states that Lee Honey, Ji Gun-woo, Kim Hae-sook, Yoo Jae-myung, and Jeon Yeo-bin made suprise appearances. Then do we have to put all of them under special appearances? I do not disagree with adding Alienoid as a special appearance in their respective filmographies. But in the cast of the film, how can we determine whom should be considered as a special appearance and whom to be considered as a recurring cast? Thanks 🔮Plpm2021💬 14:09, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for reaching out @Plpm2021! I don't think surprise appearance necessarily means the same thing, does it? To my understanding, special appearance is essentially a brief cameo appearance made by a more well-known person or actor. There is also a special appearance section included for The Witch: Part 2. The Other One. I think the "surprise" appearance here is just what it meant literally, a surprise. Though if there are other meanings to it I would like to know.
- Lee Honey's name (이하늬) is also included in the movie poster credits, so technically she can't be a special appearance and is definitely a supporting role. Let me know what you think. I'm okay with going without a special appearance section in this case if you insist though. Wheezythewave (talk) 16:25, 25 July 2022 (UTC)

Jenna Ortega merging TBAs
editWP:FILMOGRAPHY permits merging rows in the year column but the examples show just merging years. I think merging the TBAs is inappropriate and being done for aesthetics. The TBAs may end up as different years when a release year gets decided. Easier to replace a TBA for an entry with the appropriate year when it is decided when not merged with other films. The page File:Jaylen Waddle.jpg has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appeared to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.flickr.com/photos/elevenwarriors/50827153082/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Box Office
editHello, I'm marchrain13. I want to ask something about the article List of South Korean films of 2024. I compared the domestic box office gross revenue you updated with the datas published by the Korean Film Council and the numbers are different. For example, the film Exhuma currently has the gross of $26,234,157 and you updated it as $26,273,046. Can I ask where did you get the numbers from? Thank you! marchrain13 (talk) 04:15, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- I got it from the same source. The numbers don't always match up 100% I believe, depending on the time, since they're constantly changing. Wheezythewave (talk) 00:40, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for replying. I know the numbers are constantly changing, but I want to know where you get the different number from the source. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Screenshot 2024-05-17 173020.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:Screenshot 2024-05-17 173020.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Request for Input on Using "Bang Chan" Throughout the Article
editHi,
I hope you're doing well. I'm currently involved in a discussion on the talk page of Bang Chan, under the topic "Weird comment about name," regarding the consistent use of "Bang Chan" throughout his article, rather than reverting to just "Bang" after the initial mention. While one editor prefers to use "Bang" for subsequent references, others are fine with keeping "Bang Chan" throughout the article, as is common in similar cases. I’ve noticed that there are other articles, such as Gong Yoo, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lee Know, where the two-word name is consistently used throughout without reverting to the surname. Additionally, according to MOS:BIOEXCEPT, we are allowed to use a two-word name if the person is widely known by it, or if they have clearly declared and consistently used this as their preferred style. In this case, an overwhelming majority of reliable sources also follow this format for "Bang Chan."
Since you have experience in similar projects, I believe your input would greatly help in reaching a consensus. If you have the time, can I ping you there, could you kindly share your opinion on this matter? Your perspective would be very valuable to the discussion.
Thank you so much for your time, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
