Romanian Language
editHi, Xanthar. I am thinking about learning Romanian I was wondering if you could give me any advice on what books to use, what online sites are good, pitfalls to avoid, and anything else you think might be help. But don't spend more than five minutes on it; it's really not a major deal. If you can respond, please drop my a line at my talk page. Thanks:) --Think Fast 21:28, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
Metro
editSalut Xanthar!
--Xanthar 00:30, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Romanians
editSalut. Te-am contactat pt avem serioase probleme la articolul wikipedian despre Romanians. Numai bine, NorbertArthur 2 Aprilie 2006

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ppcd.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Ppcd.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Buses WikiProject
editI notice that you have edited lists of bus routes recently. You might be interested in helping with the new WikiProject buses, especially the proposed Bus route list guide. We are also working out when a bus route should have its own article and other issues. --NE2 15:36, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Piaţa Rosetti
editYou write that it's 5 minutes from Piaţa Romană. Do you mean by foot, car, train, plane, ship...? This is why it's better to give a spatial distance (400m, 1200ft, 2 versts, or what have you). Biruitorul 23:05, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Fixed. --Xanthar 06:34, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Since you, by your own admission, hate this music, maybe you shouldn't be making significant edits to the article; difficult to keep one's strong biases under control. (My editing an article on rap music would be as bad or worse.) What do you think? Maybe you should edit that article "at arm's length". +ILike2BeAnonymous 07:40, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

editThis is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Apop.gif. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:52, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Redirect of Rocar DAC 122 UDM
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Rocar DAC 122 UDM, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Rocar DAC 122 UDM is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Rocar DAC 122 UDM, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 13:30, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

According to the information I read its the 6th Mobile Phone Operator in Romania. Can you please confirm whether thats correct or so? Cheers!Pryde 01 (talk) 05:34, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of XAMPP
editI have nominated XAMPP, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/XAMPP. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. - sorfane 15:45, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
