Your contributed article, Female rulers of the world nations.
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Female rulers of the world nations.. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of female rulers and title holders. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of female rulers and title holders - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. roleplayer 11:30, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at Female rulers of the world nations.
editWelcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Female rulers of the world nations.. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
- This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.
Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willingly to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 11:36, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Female monarchs of the world, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Female monarchs of the world nations. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 23:12, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with List of female monarchs. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 06:35, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at List of female monarchs, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 06:49, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Reported to AIV
editHi Yswj700, this is a notice to let you know that I have reported the issue of you removing speedy deletion templates to administrators. An administrator should assess the report in a short while, and they will take any appropriate actions. Please wait for an administrator before taking any further actions yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 06:49, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm an admin here on Wikipedia. I'm not going to block you, however, I did delete the article, and if you attempt to recreate that article, I or someone else will. Wikipedia doesn't work if we have 2 or more articles on the same topic. I don't see any distinctuion between "List of female monarchs" and "List of female rules and title holders", except that the latter (the current article) is more inclusive. Creating a second article is called forking and isn't allowed, as it is highly confusing for readers and inevitably causes one of them to become out-of-date. If you wish to suggest changes or additions to List of female rulers and title holders, please do so on that article's talk page. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:09, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
- Also, I am guessing that your first language is not English. If you tell me what your first language is, we may be able to find another user who can speak your native language and explain more clearly what happened here. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:12, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
- Note: I will make you a copy of your deleted user page if you want, but only if you promise not to attempt to recreate the article. You could, however, use it to make suggestions to add to the currently existing article. Let me know. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:36, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

User page
editYswj700, I have undeleted your user page, and moved it to User:Yswj700/Sandbox. This way, you still have all of the information. As I said before, please do not attempt to create a new article. You still have not explained in a way that we can understand why this article is different from List of female rulers and title holders. Later today I am going to try to find a Korean-English bilingual speaker who might be able to help us break through the communication barrier we are having. Also, if you could try one more time, here, to explain the difference, that would be helpful. The easiest way is if you say explain 1) what the old article is about, and 2) what your proposed new article is about. Eventually, we can figure out if there really should be to articles or not. Hangbe
editHi Yswj700, I respect your edit here on List of queens regnant page. It is great to have someone checking the information put on the page. Thank you for all your work on that page! I think your deletion was smart and appropriate; however, I think Hangbe belongs on the page. According to Queen regnant page, a Queen Regnant is someone who "possesses and exercises sovereign powers". Historical accounts on the Hangbe page tell us that for either 3 years or 3 months, Hangbe had the sovereign powers of the Kingdom. (We don't know a lot because she was erased from official records of the kingdom and Europeans had not made contact with the kingdom yet). The question is whether she was the regent or regnant. The answer is in the complexity of Dahomian politics at that time: she was neither. It seems she was not ruling simply as a regent, and not for her brother Akaba. In order to become the formal ruler, a king needs to perform an elaborate ceremony at the Annual Customs of Dahomey and Hangbe never did. However, that does not mean there isn't evidence that she had the sovereign powers; many of the kings had sovereign authority for years before they did the elaborate ceremony. So, to respect your input I propose the following addition: Add Hangbe but with a note that says the extent of her rule is largely unknown (which is what sources Alpern and Bay both suggest). (The exact thing would read: * Hangbe (ruled 1716–1718) - Ruler of the Kingdom of Dahomey following the death of her brother Akaba; but extent of rule is not exactly known) What do you think of this? The article Chen Shuozhen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This article comprises almost nothing but nonsense, including sentences like "not even mobile phone recharge cards" and "JeolSeo & HwanNam was just some fat".
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Zanhe (talk) 20:30, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 18:35, 24 May 2023 (UTC)

. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
editHello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:40, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
Why did you remove the rulers of Peru from the page 'List of female monarchs'?
editSince you are Korean, I will show you Korean references. Search for '카오 여왕 (Queen Cao)' on the Korean Internet.

If you remove it again, I will continue to add references to the page. Acolex2 (talk) 04:16, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
