While there's generally no problem with doing that, it still requires attribution at the talk page of the new article at en.wikipedia. So for future reference, when you copy text from simple.wikipedia, please put a template {{interwiki copy}} on the new article's talk page and fill in the parameters like the source url and the old title. • I'm not sure if you completely understand, but you can not just copy/paste text from another website to Wikipedia. It is against policy, and US law. You have to write articles in your own words, then refer back to the original sources, using them as references. After you are unblocked, if you continue to copy and paste text like you have on a number of articles, you will be blocked from editing again, perhaps for an indefinite period of time. This is something we take very serious and can not tolerate. Once you are unblocked, if you need help understanding our copyright policies, you should try the WP:Teahouse. As noted by the other users, you cannot copy text from another source directly on Wikipedia. That is a copyright violation. If you want to create an article, you have to paraphrase and cite the website as a source, not copy and paste. You also cannot remove copyright violation tags from pages. If you contest them, leave a note on the talk page why you think it ISN'T a copyright violation (though it is pretty clear it is). Though it seems as though you know exactly what you are doing when you removed it and copied the information. Unfortunately, this will likely get you permabanned if you don't stop.
