I am nominating this for featured list because Vietnamese politics is exciting! Hopefully, you find this list as exciting as I do. This list is modelled on my two former and successful FL nominees; 12th Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Alternates of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
I know that communist politics, and Vietnamese politics more generally, is not the sexiest topic in the world, but I hope some of you will take your time to review it. For those of you who, well, don't know what "Members of the 12th Central Committee" entails, it literally means the leadership of Vietnam for the 12th electoral of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Included in this list are all the high-standing party-state leaders in the period in question. In some ways, as a list, it is similar to, for example, the 112th United States Congress, which is a list of most national leaders of the United States. This list is more comprehensive and includes the leadership of the executive, legislature, judicial, military, police el cetra in one list. --TheUzbek (talk) 07:32, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

edit- Done "In between two congresses". "two" is not needed as it could not be any other number.
- Done "Furthermore, it decides on guidelines and policies in all relevant fields". "decides on" is misleading. It is presumably what is formally laid down, but any such body will in practice endorse the decisions of the leadership.
- Done "Nguyễn Xuân Anh, for that matter," "for that matter," is unencyclopedic verbiage.
- The detail on expelled members is excessive.
- This has not been made public There no detail of the method of election. Does the 12th National Congress vote for candidates nominated by the leadership? Are there any contests for membership? Is the vote to elect unanimous?
- The table is titled "Members of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam" so I don't get what you mean The table heading "11th" is confusing. It implies that members were new to the 11th, but as the article is about the 12th presumably they were new to that CC.
- They are all notable You put all members who do not have articles as red links. This is incorrect. Only people who are notable enough for articles should have red links, and this will only apply to a few. I would delete all red links apart from any people who you intend to create an article about shortly.
- Do you have any suggestions? Almost all members are shown as graduate or undergraduate. Undergraduate normally means someone young who is taking a university course for a degree of BA or BSc etc. This does not seem to be what you mean here and you should clarify. The remaining members are shown with a dash for education. What does this mean - not known or no university education? Dudley Miles (talk) 13:47, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- I will answer now! TheUzbek (talk) 17:23, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Sadly the CPV has not made public how these alternates were elected. For the 11th National Congress there were over 100 candidates for 20 seats, but nothing has been made public about the elections at the 12th National Congress (at least I couldn't find anything last time I checked). I will try to recheck, but the tradition has been more candidates than seats... But this could have changed.
- I can reduce information on expelled members.
- All these members are notable per WP:NPOL since they all held leading positions in state and party.
- As for graduate and undergraduate.. What do you think is the correct term? The Vietnamese sites uses the term "graduate" and "undergraduate".

- Sorry I'm dazed and confused, I'm mixing up things! I will add info on election of members shortly! --TheUzbek (talk) 17:36, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

- Vietnamese Wiki has a list of officials that were not reelected, but I cannot find any source that verifies it. I cannot find a single source that say anything about the election other than the final list was approved. --TheUzbek (talk) 17:48, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: I think it is quite sad that this nomination has only attracted one review since it was posted four months ago, but I also think it is worth noting that the nominator has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet. If no one else is willing to tackle improvements to the listicle, then unfortunately, this FLC should probably be closed. Dylan620 (he/him • talk • edits) 10:32, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- @Dylan620: Oh, that is a shame. Thanks for letting us know! Well, I had been letting this one stay open for so long without comments specifically because the last FLC also had that problem, so I think it's pretty fair to say that if no one was willing to review this list, no one is going to pop up to adopt it. So, unfortunately, closing as not promoted. --PresN 23:09, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am nominating this for featured list because this topic has a lot of web traffic and is well sourced. I worked to improve this list after I came across it in AfD and have done a lot of research into verifying all the material on this list. Including translating non-English sources, finding articles in Newspapers, and replacing poor quality sources with reliable ones. Twitch streamers are influential people and this list is dynamic so there will be changes over time as streamers become more or less popular on the platform. This is my first list nomination and I will make it my top priority to respond and address any comments or concerns that come up. Thank you in advanced for everyone's time and comments they really do mean a lot to me. Dr vulpes (Talk) 00:09, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

- Sportskeeda is not a reliable source
- My bad on the Sportskeeda sources, I'll find replacements for those asap.
- Worldpopulationreview is not a reliable source
- I'll address this and the other sources later today
- The book used for Citation 12 is not from a reputable publisher
- Rosen Publishing Group appears to a reputable publisher, it's not a self publishing platform. Was there something here that I was missing?
- Dot Esports is a questionable source for reliability
- Dot Esports is listed as a source on Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Sources but when I went to look it up there is a note that says it might not meet the standards for WP:FA.
- Formatting is inconsistent, especially the use of the quote and location parameters.
- I can go back in fill those in.
- Sportskeeda is not a reliable source

- Drive-by comment
- There's a random chunk of text which is not a sentence: "top fifty channels with the most followers on ." -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:22, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Drive-by comments @Sohom
edit- Would it be possible to highlight non-english streamers in the lede ? (I'm pretty sure someone must have covered that AuronPlay is the top Spanish streamer ?)
- We probably shouldn't link to the twitch page of every one of these streamers.
- Let's add archive.org links for all references. (A few of the references, like
esports.gg
,dotesports.com
and others are down/dead) IABot and link-dispenser might help. - Does the fact that the streamer streams in the "chatting" category need mentioning ?
- Instead of "Not released" we probably should just put a dash for Quackity channels ?
That's it from me for now. Sohom (talk) 14:52, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Tables need captions, which allow screen reader software to jump straight to named tables without having to read out all of the text before it each time. Visual captions can be added by putting
|+ caption_text
as the first line of the table code; if that caption would duplicate a nearby section header, you can make it screen-reader-only by putting|+ {{sronly|caption_text}}
instead. - Tables need row scopes on the "primary" column for each row, which in combination with column scopes lets screen reader software accurately determine and read out the headers for each cell of a data table. Row scopes can be added by adding
!scope=row
to each primary cell, e.g.!1
becomes!scope=row | 1
. If the cell spans multiple rows with a rowspan, then use!scope=rowgroup
instead. - Please see MOS:DTAB for example table code if this isn't clear. I don't return to these reviews until the nomination is ready to close, so ping me if you have any questions. --PresN 03:31, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
