Original – Gothic Tower, the oldest part in City Observatory, an astronomical observatory on Calton Hill in Edinburgh, Scotland. Taken in 2013.

Support - I think a building without surrounding natural elements makes for a stark photo. The winding, upward-sloping path, and to a certain extent also the tree off to the left, make it clear that the building is at the top of a hill. CorinneSD (talk) 20:35, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - I agree with Crisco about that tree being distracting - not because it is there - but because of the big volume of it. It is taking up to much place in the picture compared with the buildning. It would benefit of a just little slight cropping - only some pixels - the left side.
