Reason: Great photo I took a few years ago that shows the entire city of Dana Point, California, a city located in southern Orange County, California. It has one of the few harbors along the Orange County coast, and with ready access via State Route 1, it is a popular local destination for surfing.

Comment - Nothing really striking about this image, is there? What Commons Featured Pictures call "wow". I mean if it was fantastically encyclopaedic, that wouldn't matter. But it's not that either. Coat of Many Colours (talk) 18:53, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Weak support - This could be clearer, perhaps (though out of a moving plane I don't know how clear we'd expect this to be).
