Original – Homme au bain is an oil painting by French Impressionist Gustave Caillebotte. The canvas measures 145 by 114 centimetres (57 in × 45 in). It was held in private collections from the artist's death until June 2011, when it was acquired by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Oppose for the time being, but only in terms of timing. Support in general as it is a quality image, but in terms of "front page", we have recently featured two pictures by Gustave Caillebotte, who is one of the lesser-known Impressionists, and I think that it is time we looked elsewhere for a "great" artwork. Most of the upcoming 2D artworks are in Wikipedia:Featured pictures/Artwork/Literary illustrations and Wikipedia:Featured pictures/Artwork/Paintings. What I'd really like to have are more FPs of statues and sculptures... we don't have very many yet.
