Request to vectorize the Penang flag from 1952 to 1957.

This is the reference source.
It is proposed that the Hong Kong coat of arms in the white disc be removed and replaced with the upper half of the pre-1988 Penang coat of arms, based on the pre-1997 Hong Kong Blue Ensign.
The upper half can be extracted from the Penang coat of arms before 1988.

Request to vectorize the flag of Sarawak from 1947 to 1963 with white disc.

This is the original JPG file, not vectorized.
It is suggested that based on this pre-1997 Hong Kong Blue Ensign, the Hong Kong coat of arms in the white disc to the right of this Hong Kong Blue Ensign be removed and the Sarawak coat of arms be placed inside the white disc.
This was the Sarawak coat of arms from 1947 to 1963.

As you can see, the text labels here (A, B, C,...) are off-center from their rectangles. I made this in Inkscape, at which I'm no pro, and it shows up just fine in-editor (I used the centering tools to align the text with the rectangles). In a web browser, the text appears skewed a bit differently than in the Wikimedia viewer, so I figure there has to be something a bit deeper going on here than just a misalignment. I found that the red background color is different from the red of the Union Flag in the upper left corner. Request to create an SVG vector image of the flag of the Governor of Gibraltar from 1982 to 1999.

This is a template of the flags of the Governors of the British colonies and the dependent territories before 1999. It is recommended to use this template SVG vector image as a basis for making new SVG vector image.
The emblem on the Gibraltar Governor's flag from 1982 to 1999 is the same as the emblem on the current Governor's flag, but the size of the emblem on the current Governor's flag is significantly larger than before 1999, and the wreath style outside the emblem on the current Governor's flag has changed from before 1999. The emblem can be extracted from this SVG vector and placed into the blank template of the pre-1999 Governor's flags.

@Cypp0847 The size of the badge is correct now, but the spacing between the red and white background in the disc should also be adjusted accordingly, because I found that the red block below the background is a bit small. The correct red and white dividing line is in the middle of the keychain, that is, between the building and the top of the key. I suggest that the red and white background in the disc be modified accordingly without changing the size and position of the badge, referring to the Gibraltar flag or the current Governor's flag. @Cypp0847 Because the white space below the castle is too big, I suggest moving the red and white dividing line in the disk upwards this time without having to resize the badge again. @Cypp0847 OK, I just checked the left side of the red area of the white plate close to the wreath side and still saw a little white gap. It is recommended to move the red area slightly to the left. Request to vectorize the hypothetical blue ensign of prince edward island.

It is proposed that the Hong Kong coat of arms in the white disc be replaced with the badge of Prince Edward Island, based on this pre-1997 Hong Kong Blue Ensign.
The pattern for the Prince Edward Island badge was taken from this former Governor's flag and placed on the white disc to the right of the pre-1997 Hong Kong Blue Ensign.

I found that other provinces in Canada, such as British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec, New Brunswick, etc., did not formally formulate official flags before 1965, but they all had their own hypothetical blue ensigns. The link you added is to a database that states it gets most of its content from Flags of the World, which is a self-published source that itself says that its operators "disclaim any responsibility about the veracity and accuracy of the contents of the website." Much time onwiki is spent removing poor quality information and original research sourced to sites like these. I want to reiterate that if the best way to describe a flag is as "theoretical", it almost certainly should not be included or documented anywhere on Wikipedia. If there was not significant or official use of a given design, it is likely not to be documented in reliable sources, and therefore its mention would constitute original research. @Cypp0847: Sorry to intrude, and I know this isn't my request. But it's come to my attention that, even though that's how the Governor's flag is shown on the FOTW webpage, there's a description under the image on the actual page (which can be read properly here) that says the image is a slightly inaccurate depiction of the flag. It should be more like the flag of the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland (which I've added above), as in having the coat of arms in the centre of the Union Jack, with no white disc or surrounding garland. @Cypp0847: Amazing job, thank you profusely for doing all of these! Although there are a few corrections I'd like to address before I close this request:

Regarding "Design B", the two crossed chain links in the very centre shouldn't be shown with one overlapping the other, rather they should be shown melded together.

Regarding "Design D", the yellow part should occupy the whole of the ovals surrounded by the chains, as well as form a marginal outline around the right sides of the chains.

Regarding "Design F", the two horizontal white chain links positioned along the top and bottom of the black stripe both appear have three grey lines on them when viewed up close, possibly due to a glitch.

@QuickQuokka: Thank you, and sorry for the delay in responding. Well, all three designs originate from BBC Derby. According to the original website, the designer of the original concept was Leon Summers, with BBC Derby modifying his submission to create what was known as "Design 3". Which is also exactly what BBC Derby did with Martin Enright's submission, modifying it to create "Design 1" (which was of course chosen as Derbyshire's flag). The impression I've gotten is that the uploader wanted to waive their rights to the file, but went about it the wrong way, resulting in using a license that creates a slight bit of confusion. After considering it all, I'd now recommend giving the new file the "Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported", in order to cover the same bases while making it clear that the uploader is not the original designer. @Cypp0847: I'm not entirely sure to be honest, I'm just going off the fact that the other vector logo files for the Taipei Metro, Taoyuan Metro, and Kaohsiung Metro (as well as the former logo for the New Taipei Metro) all use the same licensing and have only been uploaded to Wikipedia, not Wikimedia Commons. I figured that vectorizations with these licenses exclusively uploaded to Wikipedia should be fine. @反共抗獨光復民國 I wanted to ask for this flag to be made as I extended the article about the A and B flags in July and could find no source that it ever existed. FOTW itself states "No mention was made of a Union Garland for the Governor, but I include this as I believe one probably existed. Martin Grieve, 1 Febuary 2004". Personally, I think it did not exist, because from 1958 to 1962 the islands were part of the West Indies Federation, and the governors of other provinces did not have such. Fictional planets of the Solar System

Hello! I'm looking for a suitable image for the WP:LEAD of Fictional planets of the Solar System, and haven't found anything that really fits on WP:COMMONS, so I figured I would ask here. The best idea I have come up with so far is an illustration of the Solar System that includes the fictional planets Vulcan (inside the orbit of Mercury), Counter-Earth (sharing Earth's orbit, but on the opposite side of the Sun), and Phaëton (between Mars and Jupiter, in the location of the asteroid belt). An additional fictional planet beyond the orbit of Neptune could optionally be included as well. I don't have strong opinions on how it should look—a schematic diagram would do fine, and it need not necessarily go beyond Jupiter (in case that would make things too small at thumbnail size) if no fictional trans-Neptunian planet is included—but I think it would be a good idea for it to be clear in the image itself that the fictional planets are qualitatively different from the real ones. Tweaked. I thought Vulcan had to be always on the opposite side to Earth so that it was never visible, to explain why nobody had ever seen it ... but perhaps that was only in the closing stages as people became desperate and hypotheses had to be multiplied to save the appearances, after all. @J. Dann There are two images in color. The second strip from the bottom should be dark blue. The exact shades are a matter of taste, I just ask that they not be as sharp as they are now, because they cannot be printed and the original author would not be able to use them. @Vexald: Thank you, nice work! The only changes I'd request to bring it closer in appearance to the version in the link are: 1) For the three masts (and their ropes) to be placed behind the ship's railings rather than in front of them. 2) For the bow sprit to extend from the point where the railings and the beakhead meet, rather than from the side of the hull. Request: Hi there, would someone please be able to create a vectorized version of the Kingitanga coat of arms (also known as Te Paki-o-Matariki) as seen above?

Along with the above references, here are a couple of external references in case they are useful: image1 image2 image3. There is also a description of the arms on the Māori King movement page. None of the references I have seen appear to say what the figures the supporters are standing on are, but they look like they may be manaia or something similar.

Just a black and white version would be good, though if you're feeling particularly inspired to make a coloured version you could use that first external image as a guide.

I've made a version.svg that looks a bit more like the flags of the world version, which is better. Easier to recognise. The hermine spots aren't just a background pattern like in the right flag, but it refers to 10 subdivisions. I think it's also more respectful to clearly show them all. @Snow Lion Fenian: I've made first versions on the basis of their flags in a YouTube video made by St. Ives. I used the colours of these flags for the burgee, a serif lettertype that was available to me and comes closest to the original flag, and the background pattern of the burgee shown on yachts and yachting. If needed, these can be the basis for others to create an alternative version.
