- @Kintetsubuffalo: As the original image appears to have been deleted from Commons – are you referring to the emblem of Thira, seen here at the official website: thira-logo.png? Cheers, Mliu92 (talk) 02:54, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Mliu92: Nice catch! That's the one! If it was deleted from Commons, maybe the new image should be hosted here? Thanks!--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 05:00, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

- Isn't one of the points of these graphics (particularly the third) to show how the script is handwritten? If not, why not just use table(s) such as the one above instead? -- Begoon 03:32, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- The Umê script is normally handwritten, the Latin and Uchen scripts need not be; at any rate it's unwikilike to just have a scanned notebook page, and not even straight at that.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 03:06, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Kintetsubuffalo: I'm sorry but I don't understand if you are happy with the table or you want it as svg files, if so should Umê script be interpreted as "handwritten" if it's possible? --Goran tek-en (talk) 13:44, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- The table is to help create the graphic regarding the Latin and Uchen script, as per your request above "provide them all in an ordered maner here, thanks.
--Goran tek-en (talk) 18:00, 12 January 2018 (UTC)"The graphic for the Umê script has not yet been created.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 00:38, 22 January 2018 (UTC)- @Kintetsubuffalo: Why are you shouting, I just wanted some more info and I didn't really understand. - @Kintetsubuffalo: Is this what you want?. I'm still not sure I totally understand. If this is what you want which image would this be because the number of characters is not the same, and what else do you want, feedback, thanks. --Goran tek-en (talk) 14:48, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Goran tek-en:Sorry this one seems confusing. The original graphics consist of three columns, left to right Uchen script then Umê script then Latin-the problem is they're all handwritten and the page is just a scan from a notebook so there are no straight edges. Maybe it's better to show rather than explain-I will make a mockup and post it here shortly. I still just want three columns, left to right Uchen script then Umê script then Latin, but only the middle Umê script to be handwritten. Thanks--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 09:44, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
- Like File:Umê script mockup.png above. Sorry mine is not so good, you're the graphic artist! :) --Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 10:01, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Kintetsubuffalo: Thanks for that image, now I think I understand. I will do a few charaters before doing everything. --Goran tek-en (talk) 16:41, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Kintetsubuffalo: Like this? But there is no way I can correspond the hand drawn signs in your images with the ones in my column Uchen, there are so many that look alike to me. In some way you have to help me there. --Goran tek-en (talk) 18:41, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Goran tek-en: Okay, I'll cut and paste them in as best I can.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 07:25, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Goran tek-en: I've made the next mockup, turns out they are not all complete as I had leftover letters. Can you add a column for "Extended alphabet" (used for Sanskrit)? The letters leftover are:
- གྷ gha
- ཌ ḍa
- དྷ dha
- བྷ bha
- ཛྷ jha
- ཥ ṣa
- ཀྵ kṣa Thanks--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 08:26, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Kintetsubuffalo: Thanks for the mockup. Like this?
- The new column, "Extended alphabet" what should the content be? I don't understand what/which image you mean by (used for Sanskrit).
- You have filled all the rows in the mockup so where does the the leftover comes from and where should they go? --Goran tek-en (talk) 12:31, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Goran tek-en: I've updated the mockup, sorry my home PC will not render the Unicode Tibetan.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 13:13, 28 January 2018 (UTC)

- -- 212.62.40.208 (talk) 20:07, 10 January 2018 (UTC) The coat of arms on the flag in the down left edge has a graphical glitch. Can someone fix it and replace it with the glitched one on every page.
- Graphist opinion(s)
- I've fixed the lower crest border - see above.
- File:Flag of Serbia.svg is protected from upload, so I've requested on Commons Admin Noticeboard for a sysop to copy this version over, which will replace the image in all articles which use it. -- Begoon 00:35, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- ...and that's now Done - thanks to Ankry for the quick action. Because the image is displayed on so many pages it may take the server cache a little while to catch up, but if you see the old version on any page you should be able to WP:PURGE the page to have it update immediately if you want to. You don't need to do that, though - the server will catch up on its own. -- Begoon 02:01, 11 January 2018 (UTC)

- With the first one, I cropped, then used an FFT filter to remove most of the repeating regular interference pattern, plus a little cleanup.
- For the second, I cropped and tried to clean some of the worst scratches/fading.

- Please resize the image so the width:height ratio is 16:9. I would prefer if you kept the height at 540px and changed the width to 960px. I want the height to stay a multiple of 540px so quality is preserved, and I don't want the default size to be unwiedily large. The Nth User I like to use parser functions. Photon entanglement
-
Image illustrating photon entanglement
-
Two photons are emitted by a source S and are propagated in opposite directions. At a certain instant, one of them can be found in the region A, to the right of the source and the other in the region B symmetric to A with respect to S. The photon on the right is called 2 and assume that it possesses a vertical polarization. The photon on the left is 1 and carries a horizontal polarization.
-
Carry out a test of vertical polarization on photon 2 and a test of horizontal polarization on the photon 1. Both of them will pass with certainty.
-
Carry out a test of horizontal polarization on both photons. 2 will certainly fail, while 1 will certainly pass.
-
Consider the more general case in which the photon 2 is passed through a filter polarized at 45°. In this case, photon 2 will pass through 1/2 of the time and end up polarized at 45°, and it will fail to pass the other 1/2. Photon 1 has not been tested and therefore remains horizontally polarized.

- This is a quick hand-made illustration made by User:Lacatosias for the article photon entanglement back in 2006. We really should have something better in place by now. It should be quick to do a vector alternative. — LucasVB | Talk 05:35, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- Graphist opinion(s)
@LucasVB: I could help but it's not so easy as you think. I know nothing of this, I don't understand the image or what it tries to show. So I don't really know what or how to draw it better. I need better sources and/or a bit of understanding to be able to do this, please ping me if you want my help, thanks. --Goran tek-en (talk) 18:08, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- @LucasVB: @Goran tek-en: The original figure does not have sufficient context without looking at the photon entanglement article. I have created four vector illustrations based on my interpretation of the article, with edited snippets of the article copied as the captions for the four illustrations. Please take a look at make sure my interpretation is correct.

- Please combine two images into one (Chadō and Kōdō), similar to this File:Judo.svg. For the character Kō reduce space first on the left and right and top and bottom between edges of character and end of image space so it aligns better visually with the second character below. Upload corrected Kō character as well and then create new image where both are combined. Thank you. Gryffindor (talk) 17:42, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- Graphist opinion(s)
@Gryffindor: I should be able to do this. However, for the Kō character I'm not really sure what you want. The images are currently the same number of pixels wide/tall. Do you want me to enlarge the character? ♫CheChe♫ talk 16:08, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- Hello CheChe. Yes, it is too small in comparison to the dō character. The dō is almost touching the edge of the space around it, while the distance between Kō around it is larger. The result at the moment is that if you put them above each other, the top looks smaller than the lower one. Thank you. Gryffindor (talk) 16:12, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Gryffindor: Here is the first one you ordered: File:Chado.svg. I don't want to change the Kō image but I can rescale it when I cobine. I'll have it up in just a moment, ♫CheChe♫ talk 16:23, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Gryffindor: Alright, how's this: File:Kodo.svg? ♫CheChe♫ talk 16:43, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- This is great, thank you very much. I was also trying to find the images for 華道 but could not find an svg image, or maybe I missed it. Would you be able to also create it? Gryffindor (talk) 17:37, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Gryffindor: Sorry, I don't think I have the time/skill at the moment. Hopefully someone else here can lend a hand. All the best, ♫CheChe♫ talk 17:51, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Gryffindor: The text forms are closely matched by the free typeface "AR PL UKai TW", which is supported natively on Commons. That makes it fairly simple to create updates if needed. Use a text editor on the file 華道.svg (one that is XML-aware is helpful) and replace the specific characters as needed. Cheers, Mliu92 (talk) 18:35, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- I knocked together the other two requests as text files to compare with ♫CheChe♫'s work. They are comparable, but a bit rougher. cheers, Mliu92 (talk) 18:47, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

- Graphist opinion(s)
- The portion in the corner that was cropped, is that just a continuation of the spiraled staff, or was there another spur-thing there? Is the feather meant to be smaller? Finally, should the entrance to the beehive keep its thickness, or can it just be a simple arc? RETheUgly (talk) 21:20, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
- @RETheUgly: The feather got cropped. It could be smaller. The shepherds crook was smooth. It could get a third curly cue, or be all smooth. The entrance can be a simple arc. Thanks! --evrik (talk) 19:43, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

Done There was an error in the <style> element, which needed type=text/css to make the graphic render (See https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T68672 for details.) - that's why it was rendering as a big, black, blob, but I imported and re-exported the svg from Illustrator and tidied the code, and now it doesn't use a <style> element at all. Seems ok. -- Begoon 08:20, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
