Error on Eric Griffin page

The page for Eric Griffin incorrectly states his birth year as 1976 instead of the correct year of 1974. Also he was born and raised in the suburb of Boston called Norwood, Massachusetts. I'm sure there are documents at that Town Hall as well as the schools, I personally don't have them, but I was a childhood friend who spent many an afternoon and weekend at his house from pre-k until his HS graduation two years ahead of me. I've tried to change this before but it seems that someone keeps falsifying this information. New message prompt reveals 2007 messaage (reverted or removed)

I searched for CV-10 USS Yorktown on mobile. Search results showed up accompanied by a note saying "You have new messages (last change)." I opened the "New message" link and got User talk:64.228.137.42 signed by Somno(talk) 02:28 27 December 2007 (UTC) which objected to an edit made to Westdale Secondary School, of which I was totally unaware and incredibly innocent. The message assignned warning number 1. Could you please relay to Somno and request user to reinstate my status. Just ignore it and don't worry. You must have been logged out when you saw the "New messages" banner at Help:Using talk pages#You have new messages. The 2007 post by Somno was a response to this edit by the IP address you happened to have when you got the New messages banner. It can change which computer is on an IP address and nobody will hold a 2007 edit against you now. See also the box at the bottom of User talk:64.228.137.42. About speedy deletions

Can a non-administrator nominate a page for speedy deletions? And if the answer is yes, how do I contact an admin for deleting the page? Agent 78787 ^{talk contribs} 03:11, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes, and you don't need to. Just put the tag on it and if an admin who is going through the speedy delete queue agrees with your reasoning, they'll delete it. See more at WP:CSD. Dismas|^(talk) 03:16, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Anyone can nominate a page for speedy deletion. If you go to WP:CSD it explains what the different criteria are. All you need to do is to add the appropriate template to the top of the page that you want to nominate. as an example if you wanted to nominate an article about a real person for speedy deletion you would add {{db-a7}} or more specifically {{db-person}}. THis will alert admins that the page is nominated for speedy deletion. GB fan 03:17, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

fake link form All's Well that Ends well to a very suspicious site

Dear Wikipedia,

I did a google search for "all does not end well" and the first that popped up was the link to Wikipedia's "All's well that ends well." So checked it out. It looked legit, but when I clicked on the page, I was take to a new page about Proof that Jews were behind WTC. Fate/Stay Characters page is hacked too

How to add a sandbox article to main Wikipedia pl?

Dear Help Desk I have created an article in my Userpage sandbox, on Begum Mahmooda Salim Khan, which in my view was needed and I have also added a talk note to this effect there. Why are people allowed to talk and act like this?

Below is a conversation that is taking place on Ryulong's talk page. I am very confused as to why in a civilized discussion about these issues is it okk for Ryulong to start tossing around profanity and both insult and belittle both myself, the other user in the conversation as well as an external website. Is this really how things are done at wikipedia?

Further down that reliable sources page, you'll see that user-generated sites are both considered questionable. The credits systems on GameFAQs and IMDB are both user-submitted. Plus, GameFAQs has both Jessica Straus and Susan Dalian listed as Naoto. Which one is it? Actually, a quick Google search for "julie ann taylor Ai Ebihara" shows this on the first five pages: forum posts, Wikipedia, IMDB, GameFaqs, Gamespot, VGchartz, Metacritic (info for these three sites is taken directly from GameFAQs), Anime Characters Database, and VoiceChasers. All of these are user-submitted. Second, you guys use IMDB and all of these 'user submitted' websites which are not nearly as reliable or accurate as a site that actually confirms credits! Have you ever even been to behindthevoiceactors.com? They CONFIRM their credits. There are green check marks on roles that you can click on that show you either the end credit screens from a show/game that PROVE voice actor credits, communication with voice actors/directors, voice actor resumes etc etc ALL of which are more accurate than user submitted data found both here and at places like IMDB, GameFaqs etc. How is a user submitted piece of info on these site MORE reliable than communication straight from the voice actor themself? I am not trying to be a jerk here but think about this logically, it makes no sense. Finally, you say that the information has to be 'published', how is any of the information on GameFaqs or IMDB or any of those sites 'published'?? Its not, its literally no different than how behindthevoiceactors website presents their information except that behindthevoiceactors actually verifies its credits. Also, its not some 'bumfuck' website, try actually going to it and you will see that dozens and dozens of voice actors are not only members there but have praised it as being the 'best' voice acting website on the internet, and yes there are 'quotes' from the voice actors that prove this that are displayed at the site so you don't have to take my word for it. Hi Optimussolo, thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear you've had a difficult experience - sadly that does sometimes happen, but we work to avoid it wherever possible. I cannot speak for the website itself, but if there is a dispute over a source's reliability, we have a reliable sources noticeboard, which would be the best place to go, as other editors can help you resolve the dispute. Whatever the state of the website, though, the abuse is unacceptable. If it is a one off, you might want to notify the user at his talk page, or raise the issue at Wikiquette assistance; if it continues, WP:RFCU might be a better venue. Ryulong, if that's the only thing that you're taking away from this thread, then you've missed the point. You could have made the same points just as effectively without profanity. Unless there's some history here with the editor that isn't apparent, there was no reason to jump to such an aggressive and unpleasant approach. The issue has resolved itself. I am merely tired of people complaining to me when I am stringent on reliable sourcing issues, because they believe whatever particular website where they have gathered the information from is a reliable source, but when I advise them otherwise they get extremely defensive about it. This discussion was also brought here before I had any sort of chance to respond to anyone on my talk page, but seeing as the issue resolved itself and the fact that Optimussolo posted two lengthy essays on my talk page that I had no intent on reading, it has been removed from there, with two different people not knowing that I was fully in my right to do so.—Ryulong (竜龙) 05:57, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Naming conventions

I have a question about the naming conventions of articles that I was hoping someone could answer. I have already read the naming conventions article, and my question was not answered by that. I have written several articles (La Floresta (FGC) and Sant Cugat (FGC)) about train stations run by a Catalan train company called the FGC. I was at first unsure about how to name these pages, but then I found a page on the same topic, Les Planes (FGC), which used the naming convention (putting 'FGC' in parentheses after the name of the station) that I then adopted for the two previously mentioned articles I created. But I am not sure if this is the right way to name these pages, as the redlinks to them are often inconsistent. Also the articles about the FGC's train lines are named as FGC line and then the name of the line (for example FGC line S1). Should the stations be named as La Floresta (FGC station)? or FGC station La Floresta? Also, if you look at the names of some of the articles about the FGC stations, you will see that they have the name of the article followed by (Barcelona Metro) (for example, Sarrià (Barcelona Metro), but it is only correct to name articles about FGC stations this way if they are serviced by a FGC line that is part of the Barcelona Metro system, which the stations I am talking about are not. I read their manual of style, but they didn't have a section on train stations. I then posted my question on the talk page there, but have received no reply. Also no no (besides me) has posted anything there since 2010. So I'm coming back here for help. Liam987 15:28, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
