@Qmfineart, I'm sorry, but it doesn't look like you have created any pages. Your XTools page shows no pages created. Could you please clarify?

Also, if you typed content in the edit box but did not click publish, then that is gone and cannot be retrieved. Sorry if that happened, but 'publish' doesn't actually publish it to Wikipedia mainspace; rather it is more like a 'save' button. Weeklyd3 (talk) 03:01, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

Reinstate a page name change

Hi there. I represent my client called Trustpower. They discovered their Wikipedia page war renamed to a company they own. It needs to be re instated. How do I do this on their behalf? I will add a general information template to your user talk page that explains something about Wikipedia pertinent to your stiuation. Please take the time to read through it and please refrain from directly editing the article Manawa Energy to try and make any changes. There are process in place to help you resolve this type of thing, but you need to follow them for them to work as intended. Finally, if by chance you subsequently created a WP:ACCOUNT so that you can edit the article, then please use that account from hereon. Jumping back and forth between accounts will only make it harder to help you and may cause others to mistake your efforts for disruption. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:31, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

Manawa Energy Ltd. is a power generation company, which was formerly known as Trustpower until they sold their retail business and the Trustpower brand to Mercury Energy. I'm not sure which company the IP is a client of, but both of the relevant articles seem to correctly explain this (slightly confusing) fact.

The only potential issue is the Trustpower redirect itself. It currently points at Manawa, the company formerly known as Trustpower, but it arguably should point at Mercury, the company currently doing business as Trustpower. I think RfD should take a stab at this, and add some hatnotes or maybe a disambiguation page. –RoxySaunders 🏳️‍⚧️ (💬 • 📝) 07:14, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

The article List of people from Himachal Pradesh lists people who already have a Wikipedia article. To be added to the list, a new Draft article should be written and submitted for review and, if accepted, the name can then be added. However. it is clear that you, personally, have a conflict of interest as the grandson of the person you wish to add and you would need to declare that on your user page before starting work. In general it is rarely advisable to write an article about yourself or a close family member. It is much better to wait until another, uninvolved, editor decides that the individual is notable enough to warrant writing an article. In all cases, they content of any article must be supported by independent and reliable sources and not based on family recollections.  Velella  ^{Velella Talk}   08:18, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

We do not permit usernames that appear to represent companies: see Wikipedia:Username policy. And nor do we permit shared accounts, as your 'we' implies. AndyTheGrump (talk) 11:39, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

We are also not here for promotional purposes - the reason that Impetus Technologies was deleted for twice - we only write articles about companies that are notable and covered by unconnected, unbiased sources. - X201 (talk) 11:45, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

Please note that usernames are not tied to article titles - anybody can edit pretty much any article here, regardless of its title, and users with usernames matching an article title do not have any more control on the article than anybody else. Any next attempt at creating an article, regardless of its title, must comply with Wikipedia's Content policies, and if done by a company staff member also the rules on paid editing. Interactive guide to getting started with Wikipedia

Vandalism help request from 2601:204:D601:1AF0:85AD:1B4E:2914:6550

I have noticed some vandalism at America's Next Top Model (season 7). Namely, someone keeps changing the contestants table and/or the call-out order table so it's full of fake contestants who are in the wrong order. I've already fixed the most recent issue by using the August 31st, 2022 page revision as a reference. However, from looking at the revision history for the page and the number of incorrect edits this month, I suspect this page might get vandalized again. Just wanted to point it out! Places within places in infoboxes

At the State of Scott article I have tried to show Tennessee as being part of the United States in the infobox, like so:

United States

• Tennessee

Can someone explain to me how to do this? I can't find out through trial and error. Leontrooper (talk) 21:05, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

The documentation at Template:Infobox former subdivision does not mention this possibility. It possible that the template does support it and the documentation is incomplete, but I doubt it. ColinFine (talk) 21:59, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
