This project aims to foster the production, improvement and coordination of articles related to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region — its geography, history, culture, languages, politics, and so on. It intends to expand Wikipedia's resources on the subject in a fair and accurate manner and to act as a locus where controversies can be aired and hopefully resolved.
The goals defined for the WikiProject are:
- To improve all Mumbai-related articles
- To ensure its information is accurate and up to date
- To expand existing Mumbai stubs
