  1. Create and expand articles for every area of Sheffield.
  2. Achieve FA status for one or more of the secondary Sheffield articles.

Article Assessments

The article ratings are used within the project itself to aid in recognising excellent contributions and identifying topics in need of further work.

The ratings are done in a distributed fashion through parameters in the {{WikiProject Sheffield}} project banner; this causes the articles to be placed in the appropriate sub-categories of Category:Sheffield articles by quality and Category:Sheffield articles by priority, which are themselves sub-categories of the master category for administration categories: Category:WikiProject Sheffield.

Discusions of the ratings in general is on the Assessments talk page, specific articles assessmet ratings can be discused on the articles own talk page or raised on the Project talk page.

As of 2 October 2008, we have assessed 95% of all articles with a project banner.
(Many article talk pages require banners however)
