Hi, my expertise and experiences are mostly in the areas related to Information Technology (IT). I'd like to start by learning how to properly develop and publish my company's page and then expand into assisting with the development of other IT related pages/articles. To date, I've worked with a couple of WP admins to learn basics and to get to a certain point with my first page, and now I'd like to learn and get assistance from the greater community. I look forward to the learning experience.

One thing that bothers me, misuse of apostrophe s, makes me want to fix Wiki articles. I have a fairly good handle on grammar and punctuation (American English), so their, there, and they're and other commonly mistaken usages are also fun to fix.

I have just recently finished my Master's program in Washington DC and am working for a local non-profit. Trying to familiarize myself with the Wikipedia process as it is a fascinating and helpful space, and I would love to learn to more about the specifics.

I'm from Virginia in the US. I go by Naŋar on Wikipedia. I've been here since 2011, but I've only worked on a few articles. I mostly do random copy editing.
These are freshly harvested Plectranthus rotundifolius tubers. I'm working an article about them.

Hello, Teahouse. Thanks for inviting me. I'm mostly poking around and figuring out how things work around here. I have a few pages I'd like to make.

For years I've felt a mixture of guilty and helpless at using wikipedia without knowing where stuff came from, so I figured it was time to do something about it...

“Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will never die, but long after we are gone will be a living thing, asserting itself with ever-growing insistency.” -Daniel Burnham, planner of the city of Chicago
